Just go res\content\gameplay\germany\gun\main\GGM016_203mm_SK_L56\, find the GGM016_203mm_SK_L56.visual and copy it into res_mods\0.5.4.2\content\gameplay\germany\gun\main\GGM016_203mm_SK_L56\, open that .visual file with any text editor (like Notepad.exe) and delete all the nodes named MP_GM507_Boat or MP_GM507_Boat_INDEX_x. (This will be no longer available after 0.5.5 release...)

You can get the skin for the Atago just follow the link in the second line The Yamato is not finished yet, and I don't know if we will finish it... It's not possible to use this kind of mod in 0.5.5, so keep working on it doesn't make any sens...

Hi Cynd3r, I have a little question about the radar consumable...I noticed that the vigilance skill gives radar an additional range now, is that a display bug?

Hi MrConway. I have a skin mod which doesn't work in 0.5.5. You can find it here: http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/48207-mod0542arp-takao-skin-for-atago-v11-release-12-april/ The problem is that all added model parts (such as the windows on the deckhouse, the sphere under the hull and the propulsion unit) are gone and the glowing effect doesn't exist anymore. When we add models into a .primitives file, we need to modify the related .visual file to define the new textures; and the glowing effect requires a changed .mfm file which points to PBS_ship_emissive.fx ( and the .fxo files are also disappeared in 0.5.5 ). We are currently working on an Arppegio style Yamato skin mod, and the _ports.visual files are necessary when making hover turrets: By the way, I think modding .visual and .mfm files is not a destructive action, so it's a little hard to understand why they become prohibited... and I still hope we could mod them again, one day in the futur...

I mean, (I guess, ) assets.bin is like a zip file, it contains a lot of things...
