I think that when you're escorting someone then you should get a percentage of the exp the person gets.

I've noticed that WoWS uses a gigantic amount of video memory. I'm talking 2GB+ easily in game. On a GTX 780 I can't have browsers open with almost any tabs while running WoWs otherwise I'm gonna get frame rate drops.

I dislike that hull upgrades are so expensive. My North Carolina needs a hull upgrade that costs 4 million. The ship itself cost like 8-9 million. There's also the modules and all that which add up to a good 70-80% of the ship cost itself if I get the useful ones, if I get all of them then it's essentially another ship cost on top of that.

This. Most people do not drop their speed though so they just die to that torpedo trap, cause they've probably never seen it before. The counter-play to that torpedo trap is to just slow down unless you can neutralize one of the torpedoes coming from behind by taking it before they arm (that's super risky though). The other thing you can do to make a CV not be able to do a proper drop on you is to essentially just do circles. You move fast enough with a turning circle small enough and a reaction time fast enough that if he does drop on you it'll be at an angle where you'll be able to dodge it.

I realized a few days ago why WoWS was running poorly on my system. The issue was in video memory. When I have Chrome open in the background that can eat up to 1GB of GPU memory or more. Now when I open the game with the browser closed it goes from like 500MB to 2500MB on some maps so it's pretty safe to say that with my settings on my system when I have Chrome open then WoWS just runs out of GPU memory. This aligns perfectly with the performance characteristics I see with the game - the game drops to lower frame rates every once in a while just as though GPU memory was insufficient at that moment. So if you run on the highest details and have less than or equal to 3GB of GPU memory then just close your browsers that are in the background. Use something like GPU-Z to check out how much video memory you're using.

While this isn't necessarily meant for implementation for new players, it would be useful if medium players knew of the existence of these.

Yeah, and you're also playing IJN BBs... Magically, at the tiers IJN BBs (3 and 4) are poor and US BBs are okay that 10k difference does not appear at all.

Actually it does. The autopilot has the collision avoidance system on it whether it has been turned off or not. It's supremely annoying.

I was asked why I play without mods. I don't really have a good answer to it. I guess I just don't know what good mods there are available. So what mods "ruin the game"? I've felt that way when playing CV where sometimes I see enemy fighters heading directly towards my planes even though there was absolutely no chance for them to have been spotted yet, but so far I've always dismissed it as a coincidence and luck.
