I disagree. I think it depends on what type of cruiser you are. Some are excellent at dealing damage and fighting essentially any ship type eg Ibuki, Zao but not really good as AA bots. But yeah attacking early in a cruiser is suicide often.

But yeah, you guys do need to remember that availability is also a thing that determines who makes it. And I agree with earlgrey - it's a great opportunity and I'm a whole lot less annoyed than I thought I would be from the travel. Although that's going to change in several hours as I realize I couldn't sleep properly.

Dropped frames usually means your hardware can't keep up at that rate of recording so you either need to change your encoding settings or simply change stream quality (eg lower bitrate etc). You can record RAW footage with obs if you set it up right: eg use x264 with crf=0. It's not recommended but you can do it. You can also use nvenc (at least with regular obs) to essentially replicate what shadow play gives you - uses the same hardware to encode etc. Then you can also use quicksync, which is my recommendation if you want to do 60 fps recordings and can deal with ~6MB/s of space usage (so ~5GB per game or so). If space is more of a constraint or you're doing 30 fps x264 is probably the easiest choice. Go use something like crf=18 with veryfast and you'll be saving quite a bit of space (like 50%) compared to the earlier one but it is harder on your CPU so 1080p60 tends to not be the best on x264 but again it depends on your hardware and stuff. But yeah, if you have a newer Intel CPU that supports QuickSync that would probably offer you the least amount of performance loss while still giving you great quality video (but I mean there could be better options that are even better suited for YouTube I guess). Generally you want to then just reencode the videos for storage and if you actually use it for something you'll reencode it anyway. Seriously though - the great thing about OBS is that you can chose how to capture and encode the video. It's not a simple one click solution but it can offer you the same results essentially as the other recording software yet you can tune it way more. Edit: oh and yes, I have used FRAPS, dxtory, shadowplay, obs and a few others that I can't remember right now.

I think it might actually be the Tirpitz now due to just her overall versatility. She can fight long, mid and close range. She is fast, decently maneuverable, has good shell speed etc. She's hard to citadel but her armor is poor so it evens out.

I don't know how Voulezvous, Flamu or Jingles do it but I so know how I do it. But you don't seem to want to know that one BECAUSE YOU LEFT ME OUT. :'( On a more serious note I find things like "I use shadow play because obs quality is bad" quite funny. I mean you can literally set the quality in obs with various different ways of using it. You could even use them same thing shadow play uses in obs (although in not sure if obs-mp supports that). If somebody can poke me about it I could go through how I do it when I get back home.

Considering how a lot less people know about OMNI are you sure that would be a great idea for a showmatch?
