So basically the thread is "well it happened before and it'll happen again, nothing we can do boys, just deal with it". But there is things that could be done to alleviate this. I don't see how pushing them into T10 games or similar is such a good idea to get them interested in the game. They will get absolutely crushed even if they don't afk.

What's wrong with this? I don't understand the hate for people being proud of doing well in the game and trying to improve. I do mind divisions though, because divisions pretty much ruin WoWS but that's a game design issue.

Well, no. This is wrong. You see, before you could get 2vs2 CV matches, say a tier 6 CV and a tier 7 CV on one team and enemy team has that too. The tier 6 captain could have dogfighting expert and it would help against the tier 7 fighters.

Except the entire IJN BB line has those kinds of ranges, yet low tiers are somehow considered to be fine. Because again, people don't know better and the ones running in and dying off open the game up. This happens less at T10 because people aren't suiciding anymore. The issue is that there is absolutely no incentive to ever be the tip of the spear in random battles.
