    ARP Yamato, votre avis :

    ARP Yamato, votre avis :

    ARP Yamato, votre avis :

  9. On s'est fait spammer aussi. @EverettFR a eu un joli échange, d'ailleurs.
  10. I'm a CV main, and after months of suffering from the awful lies spouted by the DD mafia about how they're supposed to be defenceless against us CV players, I've decided to debunk the myth once and for all. Destroyers have extreme anti-air potential against aircrafts of all kind, and any decent destroyer player can easily annihilate even the most advanced aircrafts. But here's the difference between me and the torpedo-spamming monsters who indulge themselves in bullying larger ships: I bring PROOF. The kind of scientific proof that is undisputable, showing once and for all how competent players bully us carriers. I will now accept the apologies of DD main players who realized their conspiracy to hide the truth has been brought to light. And if you come here to claim that you can't do the simple maneuver shown in the proof, then my only answer is to git gud. And just dodge (TM).

Debunking the greatest lie about DD anti-air capabilities

*raises an eyebrow* You haven't played Random much, have you? And in any case, this sounds like the DD mafia, complaining as soon as there is the slightest hint of difficulty against them, almost demanding that they should be invulnerable and their enemies stationary targets. See, people? That's why I'm saying CV players are the target of undue oppression and are innocent victims of bloodthirsty, torpedo-toting, aircraft-slaughtering destroyers.

Debunking the greatest lie about DD anti-air capabilities

A ship that is even less armed than DD in WoWS, against an aircraft a lot more advanced than any of the ones available on the CV ingame. Any good player should do even better, so if you can't, you only have yourself to blame. QED.

Debunking the greatest lie about DD anti-air capabilities

See? What are we CV players supposed to do against this kind of maneuver?! We are the true victims here and it's about time WG acknowledges it and give us a decent compensation package, such as the Puerto Rico and 500 Mega Santa Crates for the moral damage.
  15. Merci !

Fundraiser Results – Vote on How to Get Hayate!

I saw that Wargaming takes on its own all expenses to post the gifts to their buyers. Does anyone have the phone number of an ISS crew member, I have an amusing idea... :-)

Puerto Rico WoWS FR.xlsx
  18. To illustrate my PR token simulator, here is a strategy I conceived (I'm a numbers nerd, that's why) for a clan member of mine who got 14,000 gold in a Mega Santa Crates package, that allows you to get the Puerto Rico for 46 € and a reasonable grind. AKA, you grind to have a Tier X premium at the cost of a Tier VIII premium. As a disclaimer, I do not intend to follow this strategy myself for the simple reason I already own Stalingrad, Bourgogne, Yoshino and most importantly Hakuryu (I'm a CV main, so I hope the hate and loathing you will all throw at me will collide with the hate and loathing thrown at me for not yelling against the Puerto Rico, leaving me unscathed). So, how to get Puerto Rico without getting yourself hooked to a coffee IV for several weeks? Before Dec, 21st: do all daily missions, get all daily rewards, no mistake. Before Jan, 7th: do all daily missions, get all daily rewards, you are allowed to miss up to 15 tokens. Before Dec, 16th: grab the first two premium boosters (14,000 gold), finish directive 1 (not that hard, seriously), get standard booster 0 (the free one) and standard booster 1. Before Dec, 21th, finish directive 2 to get normal booster 2. (not exact date, but any time earlier than that is good, and if you do it later, you'll need to be faster on directive 3) * Recommendations for directive 2: ** 150 Citadels/Fires/Floodings/Torpedoes: Co-Op, Smolensk and Henri IV being alternated, rush like a French soldier against machine guns in 1914 (don't ban me, I'm French, that's called self-deprecating humour), fire HE like a madman/madwoman, then switch to torpedoes, fire until you die, then switch to the other ship. Honestly, you should get the 150 before too long. ** 135,000 XP for the different ship types. Grind, annoying, use your XP boost flags, camos and daily bonuses. Gonna be a bit annoying, but entirely doable (seriously, a max configuration can get 30,000+ XP per game, though you can reasonably expect 10,000 to 20,000). Focus on a ship type at a time, keep an eye on the total/potential damage counts, maybe you can get one or both of these finished earlier and get out of the grind. Yes, it IS grind, but entirely doable grind within 5 days or so if you're willing to spend a lot of special flags and apply yourself. On Dec, 21st: get normal booster 3 thanks to the daily missions and rewards you got. Now, for the good news: you have almost TWO WEEKS to do directive 3 and you won't have to do any further directive. Before Jan, 3rd: finish directive 3 to get normal booster 4. (if you finish directive 2 earlier than Dec, 21st, you can have more time to finish this, but try to get it done by New Year's Eve to be really sure) * Recommendations for directive 3: ** 130 Citadels/Torpedoes : Midway, with the torpedo bombers in Co-Op against vulnerable targets (if you can div with a couple of friendly Musashi, you'll have a great time) or, for its happy owners, Benham and its legendary torpedo soup. ** 4,500 Secondaries : Jean Bart, Alsace, Bourgogne, République, GK, Massachusetts, Georgia, Ohio, that kind of beast, in full Secondary configuration, in Co-Op. You'll have some really enjoyable and stupid games that will blow a LOT of steam, doing easily 400+ hits a game. Good to get ready for the last part. ** 48,000 base XP with three ship types (that'll automatically finish the 105,000 base XP mission). Again, grind, requiring quite a number of games. Roughly 120 Tier X games to do in around 10 days: 1,200 XP average time 40 for a single mission, time 3 for the whole lot. That means 3-4 hours a day. If you git gud, you can probably go down to 2-3 hours, but that'll be the last run to Puerto Rico. On Jan, 7th: get normal booster 5 thanks to the daily missions and rewards you got. On Jan, 8th: you're bloody well done with WoWS for several weeks. You look at the other directives and don't give a **** about them. Sometime before the event's end: you get a large cruiser that is probably good but that will NEVER be Balancegrad. There you go, this is a grind that is entirely possible and doesn't require superhuman feats. You'll need to play regularly, effectively and to optimize your ship selection to finish the missions. What you'll get will be a decent ship for the monetary cost. Whether you think the PR is worth this grind is up to you. For me, it isn't, but I'll be sure to lob a few AP bombs right into your citadels after my torpedoes break your rudder and engine one time too many. Second disclaimer: if you're interested in this strategy and want to spend the cash on it, check my numbers yourself before you do so, and make sure you'll be able to do the daily missions. Meanwhile, I'll be waiting for the premium of my dreams:
  19. Yes, I love being reported for being a CV, means I do my job well of ruining everyone else's life.
  20. I see, once again, the oppressing majority ignores the unique needs of minorities.
  21. Nah, what's ridiculous is that I cannot have modern anti-ship missiles on my planes, laser-guided bombs and the such (I'm not asking for tactical nuclear weapons, though it would be a good pace towards proper balance). That I cannot have such is just another proof of the outrageous oppression of the CV minority. Help, help! I'm being repressed!
  22. The NTC gave indeed a good opportunity to rediscover the lower ranked ships, and it was a decent experience, though not one I'd do again unless they offered really good ships - I got the Colbert and I love it, and I don't want Ohio, having Georgia already. The whole thing about Rank X ships being used doesn't bother me either, but that might be because I have 20+ of them and like to use them.
  23. Meh, it'll be like usual. As for the ship, it's not garbage, just looks like a Mehbote. Azuma is garbage, not PR. But frankly, nothing like Stalingrad or Yoshino. And THAT is the good thing IMO. Remember the NTC? It was a massive mess and WG walked back on it because it was going to change the entire meta and pretty much force every competitive group to shell over cash to regrind several times the same ship ASAP just to have the same ships as their potential foes. It was pretty bad, the CC said so, and in the end, we got the Research Bureau which is decent and got me the hilarious and unique Colbert. Puerto Rico? Just a big load of Meh. Grind coal instead and get Yoshino or Smolensk for free, it'll be a much better use of your time. This post was brought to you by Meh. Because Meh.
  24. 'People can see this.' It's pretty amusing, considering that some of the most successful businesses ever based their entire model over 'people suck at doing complex maths', 'people suck at planning realistically', 'people are overly enthusiastic on their commitment levels over a period of time'. I'm not going to worry over this event for WG, they'll make tons of cash and it won't hurt the gameplay because in the end, Puerto Rico ain't going to change the meta.
