Hi all, I didn't mean depth as physical depth limit - I meant it as depth where submarine is practically blind or semi-blind! BTW, actual German WWII acoustic torpedoes required submarine to stop (and turn off engines) and the homing would work only after several hundred od meters of torpedo run (not to mention very slow torpedo speed)... Hi all, My main issue is actual torpedo firing (both "Standard" and "Homing") from such depths in the first place... those are WWII subs and not nuclear powered attack submarines of modern age... Leo "Apolo11"

Hi all, One has to carefully time the usage of the "Research Bureau" ! I only reset my original German DD line (I am very conformable with it). I do that once a year (I simply don't want to do it more often). I time it to obtain x4 modifier - I reset the line last day when present x2 modifier works and the next day I FreeXP the line for around 700K FreeXP to get another x2 modifier for combined x4 modifier (x4 = x2 + x2). Then I play the line normally in Ranked Battles - it is done very quickly = just 3-4 weeks! Thus I get Tier X ship from "Research Bureau" for just around 700K FreeXP and 40M Credits ! Leo "Apollo11"
