    Hi all, Lost Tier X CoOp yesterday... Leo "Apollo11" P.S. I was Tier IX DD (stock with just 3 point captain) - I got focus fired by whole enemy fleet and my "teammates" (including Tier X CV without any clue) "died like flies" because the thought that piecemeal attack was good tactics against big blob or rushing enemy BOTs in "Standard " battle...

    What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?

    Hi all, Well... I was "brave" enough to play DD in CV heavy meta... it is achievement of its own... The results were different BTW: in 3 games: 2x Tier X with 1x CV per side 1x Tier VIII with 2x CV per side also that sinking feeling when you realize that your CVs have below 50.000 average damage, 40% WInRate and 0.3 kills per game whilst enemy CVs are "Unicum" players with 100.000+ average damage, 60+% WinRate and almost 2 kills per game...   11. Hi all, I meant is "Pobeda" / "Slava": "Silver" ? "Premium" ? "FreeXP" ? "Coal" ? "Steel" ? But now we know - it was aid to be "alternate tech Tree" ship... Also why make ship with such stats in the first place... Leo "Apollo11" P.S. Yesterday I had "Slava" in enemy team played by "Unicum" player. After I lost my ship I watched it closely and it didn't repeat the shots "Flamu" did. Nonetheless it had 3000 BasXP at the end (I ended up with just 110 with my Tier VIII DD in Tier X game on losing side)...

Hi all, I got that "30% OFF" coupon today and since I didn't find anything worth spending my money at the moment I bought 1 (one) "Premium Soviet Era Container" for 2.5 Euros (after discount)... When I opened it there was no mission but I got 75 tokens. I used them to buy 2 regular "Soviet Era Containers". The 2nd one contained the mission for the Tier VI Russian BB "Izmail"! So... now I have both Tier V "Pyotr Velikiy" and Tier VI Russian BB "Izmail" ... Leo "Apollo11"

Hi all, Stats for the 3 FreeXP Tier IX "Super Cruisers" ("Alaska", "Azuma" and "Kronshtadt")... https://wows-numbers.com/ship/3760109264,Azuma/ https://wows-numbers.com/ship/3760109552,Alaska/ https://wows-numbers.com/ship/3761157584,Kronshtadt/ are pretty close... BTW, there are currently: "Azuma" = 269 players with more than 40 battles "Alaska" = 2066 players with more than 40 battles "Kronshtadt" = 5644 players with more than 40 battles Also, according to MapleSyrup: http://maplesyrup.sweet.coocan.jp/wows/ranking/20190427/eu_week/average_ship.html there ware (last week on EU = 2019/04/27): "Azuma" = 196 active players (with at least 1 "Random" battle that week) "Alaska" = 530 active players (with at least 1 "Random" battle that week) "Kronshtadt" = 133 active players (with at least 1 "Random" battle that week) So... overall... the "Super Cruisers" are not played that much and even though they differ their stats are remarkably similar...   19. Hi all, I played just 9 games with her and she is really HE monster... that's the reason why she is at the top IMHO... My average damage is around 100K now (but it was 120K-130K because in last game I did 0 by running stupidly into spread of enemy torpedoes)... Leo "Apollo11"

    Hi all, I posted about this in: "Some interesting info around the world" Very interesting post from RU forum: https://forum.worldofwarships.ru/topic/126823-неуязвимые-самолёты/?page=4&tab=comments#comment-5527325 Yes, there is such a mechanic, and it works as intended - when planes from a squadron are not controlled by a player, they are immune to damage - the link returning to the aircraft carrier begins to receive damage again at the end of the animation of the bombs falling, and but it’s necessary to take into account several factors: 1) It’s not as easy to use this mechanics as it seems, it doesn’t increase the accuracy of the dumping - on the contrary, it takes practice to reset correctly, a good calculation, and the target has more time to react . 2) If you remove this mechanic - the planes that can not dodge in any way will receive just huge damage and most likely will not be able to enter the next attack, which obviously greatly reduces the efficiency of the aircraft carrier in combat. 3) The use of this "trick" requires the expenditure of two links for each attack - that is, damage to the squadron as a whole may be less than with a conventional attack, but yes, with less loss of aircraft. 4) And besides, for aircraft carriers, changes are already planned to reduce their impact on combat - for example, we will solve the problem with early spotting.
