HI all, No problem... I only used "Scharnhorst" as example after heavy case of "infestation" by 2-3 BB "Sinop" per game in enemy team at later stages of the "Ranked Sprint"... that really was very frustrating... I know... but, for example, the "Hood" is still my worst "Premium" experience thus far... I simply can't make her work even after that mild last buff... Leo "Apollo11"

Hi all, The title of my post is: "Powercreep of older ships (for example German BB "Scharnhorst") and possible ways to remedy it..." Under it I consider all ships that are terribly powercreeped - and nicely shown from all tables above (I used "Scharnosrt as example only because I played it in latest Ranked Sprint - nothing more / nothing less) In Tier VII BBs they are: Hood Colorado Nagato Ashitaka Scharnhosrt Gneisenau BTW, one must really admit that German BB line is especially hit very very hard with powercreep... "Gneisenau", "Scharnhorst", "Bismarck" and "Tirpitz" are ships that probably suffered the most from powercreep and they all fell from grace really really hard over the years... Leo "Apollo11" P.S. I really really tried to love my "Hood" but she is, most likely, my least loved "Premium"... I simply can't do anything with her... every battle is just horrible frustration...

Hi all, Erm... The fact that I have no problem against Tier VII BBs (except "Sinop") has nothing to do with fact that "Scharnhosrt" was powercreeped in years since it was introduced! I (and most of other forumites) are a bit above "ordinary Joe"... Or you think this (below chart) is OK? Please note this is "All Time Historic Data" - if we look at just last week for example: http://maplesyrup.sweet.coocan.jp/wows/ranking/20190706/eu_week/average_ship.html There were just 234 player playing the "Scharnhorst" with average damage of only 45K and that is testament that this ship is, unfortunately, fell out of love because it was terribly powercreeped... Hi all, Nice - congrats - you had 6 games less than me! BTW, how many "Sinops" did you encounter? In my last 10 games I had at least 2-3 "Sinops" in enemy team and all I could do was 5K damage per volley... it was super frustrating... not to mention the world of hurt "Sinop" was able to do to my poor "Scharnhorst"... Hi all, When "Scharnorst" was first introduced she was fine, competitive and fun ship. But that was years ago.... now we have ships like "Sinop" at her tier and she is powercreeped in earnest... Leo "Apollo11"

Hi all, With new Ranked "Sprint" #5 I played my beloved "Scharnhorst" in earnest again and I got to Rank #1 rather quickly: but it was not "easy ride"... With all those "Sinop" RU BBs "infecting" the Ranked I really really felt totally out of place... the one and only thing that "saves" the "Scharnorst" was the reload time... Leo "Apollo11"

Hi all, I am sure this must have been proposed before at some point but still... I will do it myself again just in case... First of all and IMHO the best event WG ever had with WoWs was the "Snowflakes" for the holiday season 2018/2019 (i.e. Christmas / New Year) - this means that people will play low er) tier ships if there is nice event and nice enticement! Also I think that re-grind (but without erasing whole line) is a possibility and that reward for such re-grind could be something like having opportunity to promote your "Silver" ship of choice into "Semi-Premium" where user would be able to put captains on it without re-training penalty. This is very nice reward IMHO. Leo "Apollo11"
