    I honestly fail to see how that makes for a healthier matter since players playing "DD hunters" will just be equally incompetent and thus unreliable. Lets face it, attempting to save the meta at this point is completely futile.
  3. All public polls including some from WG themselves show that the majority of players dislike CVs. Naturally only a small part of the playerbase will participate in them, but a few are large enough to extrapolate from.

    Ah, yes, I can really see how this lone Gearing is getting punished by a KotS winning player in an official match. Yes, really getting punished hard here since he has no fighter cover whatsoever. Not totally killing off both enemy squads and taking no damage for it. Meanwhile nowadays it doesn't matter how skilled a surface ship is. The only thing that matters is how skilled the CV player is. Such an amazing improvement /s. Which is why top CV players still maintain roughly the same stats as before, while the average and terrible CV players have actually gotten worse. This is also why CV + AA divs worked so well in RTS, because the AA ships were so dependent on the CV for fighter cover all the time and couldn't just lock down half or even the entire map by themselves. Oh wait. Your laughable narrative still has absolutely no basis in reality. I do have to ask though, who are you trying to convince with your blatant lies at this point? Yourself? Weird how you're not able to do it then. Have you ever perhaps considered that the reason you're underperforming lies with you?

    A detonation can only occur if the magazine takes damage, yes. However because the magazine is a module you can also detonate from splash damage which causes no HP damage. This is why no hit detonations can occur typically from large caliber HE shells or bombs on DDs as the HE splash damage transfers into the magazine even if they miss.

    Gegen AP lässt sich halt auch was machen, gegen CV nicht. Weiß net, ich find Audacious deutlich schlechter. Anders als die FDR kriegt das Teil nämlich gar nichts hin. MvR ist es wahrscheinlich mittlerweile auch, da die FDR jetzt deutlich zuverlässiger damage auf großen Zielen farmt. Das lässt die FDR immerhin im Mittelfeld stehen. Der Abstand zwischen ihr, Haku und besonders Midway is halt nur so lächerlich groß dass man das ganze halt etwas relativ sehen muss.

    Wie bereits gesagt ist das statistisch gesehen absolut nicht der Fall. Ich warte immer noch auf deine Beweise, die das Gegenteil belegen. War tatsächlich damals schon so. "Die Tomate hat mich durch spotting umgebracht", etc. ist nicht neu. Hat sich auch nichts geändert.

    2 Anflüge in einem RTS CV übersetzt sich auf rund 6-8 Minuten Spielzeit je nach CV und Entfernung zum Ziel. Um einen BB heutzutage kleinzukriegen braucht kein reworked CV so lange. Tatsächlich ist das alte flooding das einzige, was RTS CVs in Sachen damage output überhaupt noch kompetitiv mit reworked CVs mithalten lässt. Nimmt man den weg fallen RTS CVs extrem stark zurück wie bereits beschrieben, da wenn man ein Ziel 2x mit einem RTS CV anfliegen muss man viel zu lange im Vergleich mit einem reworked CV braucht. Ist auch heute noch der Fall, von daher sehe ich jetzt den Unterschied nicht? Spielen wir doch mal ein einfaches Spiel: Rate, was von den folgenden Bildern RTS und was rework ist. Und gleichzeitig kannst du auch raten wer das Match gewonnen hat. Nah, siehste den Unterschied? Und was die angebliche Unmöglichkeit anbelangt, über die Hälfte meiner 24 solo warriors hab ich im rework verdient.

    Worse CV still gets deleted, just by flak and not by fighters. His teammates likewise get deleted, this time without any counterplay whatsoever. There are also videos where surface ships delete planes. Meta high tier CVs have the same or superior damage output. There is nothing that a RTS CV kills that a reworked CV cannot kill faster. This has been proven in both tests in controlled environments as well as actual gameplay. To label them as overpowered is extremely laughable since they're simply the standard to measure against. You could also pick weaker representatives with RTS CVs that couldn't do what you attribute to them yet you don't. Hypocrisy much? Your pathetic narrative holds no basis in reality as usual and since this is far from the first time one can only infer malicious intent behind your repeated blatant lies.
  14. It was actually kinda made easier to do it since planes keep their altitude and thus the increased range for longer. If WG intended to patch it out, they failed miserably at it.
  15. It is actually based in fact that it gives you an advantage. Said advantage has nothing to do with aiming. Islands do not give you less time to achieve full accuracy, they have no effect on that. What they do for rockets and TBs is increasing the range of your attack, making you capable of attacking targets from further away and thus execute your strike faster. To make use of this you need to adjust your lead accordingly as your ordinance is in the air for a longer time. In general when flying down plane speed and thus time to target is also increased and finally islands shorten the time it takes for your planes to reach immunity as they're bailing at a higher altitude to begin with. Behavior is consistent and repeatable. It is, again, merely a question of skill and adaptation. Do please educate yourself on a topic before attempting to talk about it. Your statements clearly show that you have no clue whatsoever.
  16. With a slight bit of simple adaptation this becomes untrue. In fact when used correctly islands speed up the execution of a strike, providing another advantage.

    Way more. If you knew how strafes worked you could quite easily dodge them and avoid all damage which is not possible in DD vs CV interaction. This is why strafing in a RTS CV battle where both players were skilled practically wasn't used.

  20. Alright, I actually bothered to watch it up until roughly 1 hour in. Here's my response. Spoilered for length, also formatting is probably gonna get messed up but whatever. I may watch the rest of the video some other time, but personally given what has already been said I see no value in it.
  21. Oh? So do tell me how you input your skill into AA as a surface ship for example? Last I checked both DPS and flak are automated with the latter being fully controlled by the CV player? These are provable facts that can be asserted by simply going ingame and checking the relevant mechanics. Mitigation is not a countermeasure, it is mitigation, aka as I already stated you still take unavoidable damage. And oftentimes your mitigation attempt can be prevented and/or countered by the CV. The CV is in full control over where and how he commits, this plays into the skill of the CV player and is thus completely out of the target's control. The CV has free target choice over the entire map, therefore it is in the unique position to always be able to pick priority targets. Any time spent attacking a priority is time well spent, it isn't wasted. You can therefore only make yourself an unattractive target and "waste time" by deliberately attempting to throw the match, aka making yourself unimportant. If the CV then attacks you, the CV is misplaying, you have not outplayed the CV as you've had absolutely no input in whether the CV selects you as their target or not. Ironic given that you've just done the very same thing by attempting to dismiss facts as opinions with no further thought. How about you practice what you preach?
  22. So CVs should be completely removed since CVs make the entire game unfun for surface ships, especially for ships such as Atlanta which were previously marketed as AA ships and now have their AA power completely obliterated all in the name of the CV rework?
  23. Again, haven't watched the video, but it is his typical go to argument on NA. "I come at it from a game design perspective" yada yada yada and then proceeds to lay out his arguments as fact based on it. And his arguments then ironically proceed to show that he has absolutely no clue about game design whatsoever. As for the whole "can it be proven", sure it can. Just check the ingame mechanics. Basic examples: - The player who is in primary control over AA is the CV, not the surface ship. - The surface ship has no skill-based input in their defense against CVs. - Any maneuvers a surface ship may make can be compensated or countered by the CV or doesn't prevent the CV from dealing unavoidable damage barring intervention from RNG. - Even massed AA defense is not capable of causing significant issues to a CV unless the CV is incompetent or blobbing is taken to such ridiculous levels that it loses the match by default anyway. As a conclusion based on all of these facts there are not only no counters to CVs, there is no skill-based interaction between target and CV whatsoever. The outcome of the engagement rests almost entirely on the skill of the CV player. CVs therefore are a PvE minigame that has no place in a PvP game and are fundamentally broken.
