    ...you mean me? Because that ain't me. :D Well, apparently according to various stat sites I'm the number one Enterprise player in EU, ofc I'd enjoy playing her. In the current random meta I'd say both are fairly evenly matched. When it comes to air control Shokaku will usually win a straight up click fight, but Enterprise will win if they catch Shokaku fighters after strafing. A head on strafe pass favors Enterprise since she has higher damage output and more planes per squad. One for one trades will obviously favor the Enterprise thanks to her vast fighter reserves, on the other hand her fighters suffer much more from AA interference and are a lot slower. Basically it comes down to the ability of the player, neither side has a clear advantage. In terms of strike ability it honestly comes down to what your team composition and how skilled your team is. If Shokaku's side has a lot of potato KM BBs that favors Big E a lot, since she can effectively prosecute both DDs and BBs on different ends of the map, which also favors her side in terms of air control since this makes it impossible to cover all flanks and possible targets. The value of AP DBs rapidly diminishes however with rising skill level and team compositions that do not include ships vulnerable to them. On a higher level of play Shokaku is the clear favorite since she has more strike reserves available and isn't as picky with her targets (although it should be noted that depending on how many goats you sacrificed to RNGesus prior to the match AP DBs can give you the occasional devastating strike on non-preferred targets). Both CVs are still capable of shutting each other down, though, so to use whatever strike potential they have they have to secure air space first. Conclusion? Which side holds the advantage mainly comes down to player skill, while other situational circumstances play a more minor part. Enterprise is actually a fairly well balanced premium in that regard, neither weak nor overpowered (compared to Shokaku anyway, I don't even care to call Lex a CV nowadays). Too bad she's one of the only balanced premiums out there, which makes her look weak when she really isn't.

    You should know that "WoWs average playerbase" and "playing aggressively" are two mutually exclusive things. Doesn't matter what consumables you give them or what playmode they play, potatoes be potatoes.

    Isn't Emergency Takeoff a waste of skill points considering DCP has a cooldown of 30s? Also you didn't take ASE and TAE? Considering how many strikes you're running per game those are mandatory imo.

    CV overpopulation confirmed. Seriously, though, with these ships given out for free, is it truly a surprise that the great majority of people playing them are braindead? Giving out a CV for free especially is a horrible idea.

    Personally I believe Akizuki was designed to be without DFAA (which is why she gets better DP AA than the aforementioned USN DDs). Adding DFAA would probably mean a nerf to her AA guns as a trade-off. Whether or not that's a trade you'd be willing to make is another story, though.

    Because the 10cm guns were not exceptions when it came to having horrible drawbacks that plagued IJN AA guns, even if they were their finest AA weapon. Well, the USN did have better AA, the difference between USN and IJN AA capability was astronomical. That Akizuki surpasses both Fletcher and Gearing in the DP AA guns department is thoroughly unrealistic (not talking about balance, just realism). Being known for their better AA really isn't saying much when you consider the standards for AA guns that the IJN had.

    Last I heard about Tone was someone saying that attempting to unify surface ship and CV controls would crash the game. Whether that's true or not I don't know, but I'm inclined to believe it.

  13. Sorry, my fault. I actually deleted a dev at the start of the match not too long ago. Even contemplated whether or not I should take advantage of him exposing himself fully by going for a cap without support. I'M SO SORRY GUYS. T_T On a more serious note, really WG? "Variety"? DFAA is already a mandatory pick for those DDs that can use it in lieu of the speed boost.

    So basically you are incapable of hitting a moving target, have a bad connection AND want Yamato to be always capable of penetrating a target no matter the angle. Talk about l2p lol. Also all of these factors apply to the other post as well, yet you have declared his shots to be more "realistic" than mine? :P Well, we already had that once, remember? :D

When adjusted for the top 5% of the playerbase wows-numbers.com gives the following information: NC - 2nd to last place in all relevant categories, only Tirpitz performs worse but is fairly close. Iowa - 2nd to last place in all relevant categories, but fairly close to FdG. Izumo last place by a fair margin. Montana - worst average damage but higher winrate than Yamato. T10 BBs in general are fairly close to each other with Conqueror being the exception. When not adjusted to a higher level of play it either shows a similar picture or USN BBs perform even worse. When adjusted for the last week only eu.warships.today gives the following information: NC - dead last by a huge margin in all relevant categories, despite being among the more least played BBs. Iowa - 2nd to last in all relevant categories but is fairly close to FdG. Montana- last place in WR but higher average damage than GK. Very close to her contemporaries except Conqueror, which speeds off ahead in first place. maplesyrup.sweet.coocan.jp/wows gives out the following data when adjusted for the last snapshot: NC - dead last by a fair margin in all relevant categories. Iowa - last place in terms of WR but higher average damage than Izumo and FdG. Montana - last place in terms of WR but higher average damage than GK. Sounds like the only one who is spouting delusions is you. As science has proven, the amount of influence RNG has on your average performance is marginal at best provided a sufficient sample of games. Source: For deck penetration to occur with a 16"/45 Mark 6 gun (NC), which has perhaps the best plunging fire characteristics of all high tier BBs, you would need a range of approx. 25km (including normalization) as auto-bounce will prevent all deck penetrations with angles of fall below 30°. Deck penetration ability at this range would also not be sufficient to penetrate the deck armor scheme of a Bismarck, much less that a FdG or a GK (~165mm of penetration vs 50mm upper deck + 100 - 120mm main deck + 80 - 100mm citadel deck armor OR 45mm citadel side armor). As such ranges are ridiculously impractical in gameplay terms AP bombs, a waterline hit while turning and the once in a while lucky barbette penetration are the only ways to citadel a KM BB. Source: http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNUS_16-45_mk6.php In fact, after approx. an hour of testing in the training room with the NC, slotting both the range upgrade and the spotter plane, I have not landed a single citadel hit on a Bismarck at ranges well over 27km, regardless of whether I aimed for the deck, the upper belt or the waterline. Meanwhile with a Bismarck it was just a matter of aiming correctly and the game would shower me with citadels on NCs no matter the range. Try it yourself if you don't trust me. As you have proven with your vast experience playing these ships and high tier gameplay. Oh, wait. So yeah, the answer is really simple: It doesn't, as proven by all data gathered from openly available sources above. Go check it up yourself if you do not trust me. Or perhaps you would like to go back on your own words which you just spouted in your childish, but extremely amusing rage? :)

  17. Yes, and it would only save reports if you were online when the match ended. Literally nothing has changed in that regard. And again, this is not only about you. Let's assume a battle report takes up 15 kbytes * 12 players and that on average 1000 battles end every minute. Demanding the server to save those for only an hour would unnecessarily take up 10.8GB of space, not to mention resources to constantly write and delete files. The only way to circumvent this would be to force WoWs to save reports on YOUR harddrive, demanding WoWs to always be running in the background even when you're not actively playing. Would you be fine with that? If so you can already simply send WoWs to the background. No one is forcing you to exit the game and be unable to look up past battle results.
  18. How many battles do you think are played every few minutes? To demand results to be saved even for a short amount of time is entirely unreasonable as it unnecessarily takes up space and resources, inevitably affecting server performance as a whole. This game is not just about you. You want to know the results? Just leave WoWs running in the background. As for your other complaints, read up on detection mechanics. Literally nothing changed apart from smoke firing.

    BB inaccuracy ironically results in a pretty good chance to hit dodging DDs. All you need to do is fire in the general direction. I have no problems at all nailing DDs within 12km in any BB.

    You know what's funny? In CBT flak would light up the sky with a [edited]-load of tracers and puffs. Somewhere sometime it got reduced to what we have now. Still have old CBT footage of my Iowa spitting out tracers from every AA gun on the deck.

    - both in training room - both completely still targets - both at comparable distances - he aims at belt, I aim at waterline - he doesn't get citadels, I do "OMG HIS SHOTS ARE FAR MOAR REALISTIC THAN YOURS!!!1111" I admit that Izumo is not comfortable to play (for me), that doesn't mean she's a bad ship as others have proven. Originally had no plans of getting the Yamato at all but I will go very far to tell scrubs like you to git gud. On the other hand playing Yamato has been pretty easy so far.
