    Unplayable any more !!!

Cleve is a monster against same tier CVs. When facing higher tier ones (as T6 usually does) she definitely needs DFAA. Ironically BBs in low and mid tiers have a lot better AA than cruisers do. And that too should change.

"Over two entirely different ends of a map" does not mean a lemming train to a single cap. It means choosing the two caps that are closest to each other and not going to different ends of the map. Splitting is fine until you've reached the minimal amount required to be safe from air strikes. Anything less than that requires air cover. That's fine if only one or two teammates do it, but when everyone else is also sailing around alone it is impossible to provide effective air cover for all of your teammates. Then as a CV you need to decide who gets to live and who you abandon to die. And regardless of how you choose or how correct your decision might be, the guy abandoned will more likely than not give you loads of grief for it in chat, even if it is actually their own fault.

    Nerf the Conqueror ...

And they'll never hit it because they will explode way beforehand. If it were reliable, I would've at least gotten one citadel in all of my tests. As it stands even if it were possible it's extremely unlikely. Think so. Anyway, air detection at 12km is a moot point then because aircraft only have a view range of 11km. That makes Conqueror no different than any other BB. Yet Conqueror is the pinnacle of the principle. Not saying that others are fine whereas Conqueror is not, but she's definitely the apex of braindead play. Hardly. As a Monty/Yamato you actually need to care where your shells land. Same applies to the GK with greater effect. These usually have other trade offs in e.g. economical or mobility aspects. That's not the case with the Conqueror. Precisely, which is why giving such a braindead tool ridiculous alpha values along with ludicrous fire chance and higher penetration is hilarious at best, especially when giving the ship that has such shell characteristics no tangible weakness at all. You heal more HP with super heal than two normal ones, with a more favorable cooldown. You don't need it, you only want it. If you die you would die with two normal heals as well. On the other hand super heal gives you a better chance of survival. There are no advantages normal heal has here.

Never have I thought I'd see the day when someone accuses the Atlanta of all ships to be overpowered.

Ingame Option to avoid CV batles

It should technically speaking result in a higher winrate. So if you see someone with fairly okay stats but a high winrate he's obviously doing something right (assuming a sufficient sample of games played). Though really, teamplay mechanics should in fact be not only represented in statistics but actively listed in a match as well. For example it can't be that hard to implement a ribbon for spotting that you get when someone else got a hit on a target you're scouting. Or getting a small multiplier for rewards when shooting down planes in the vicinity of your allies, perhaps even represented by a slightly different ribbon. Small stuff like that can go a long way in promoting teamplay.
  8. Dude please. T1 is obviously superior because you don't even need to grind it.

It's truly not all that difficult for the most part. Even the smallest decisions can help your own CV a lot from time to time. For example a team not splitting themselves over two entirely different ends of a map is tremendously helpful when trying to provide effective air cover. Or a teammate not immediately diving on a cap without any support whatsoever. Or someone splitting off from their perfectly safe group for whatever reason. The difficult part is to recognize that doing things like this helps your CV, which in turn helps you. These are usually things you never notice until you've played CVs yourself and realize what a ridiculous nuisance it is trying to provide cover when your teammates are purposefully making that difficult for you, whether they realize it or not.

Ingame Option to avoid CV batles

You can avoid such a fate by sailing with a teammate that has good AA and/or DFAA. Or playing such a ship yourself. AA rating means nothing. If you want an accurate estimation of your ships' AA capabilities, go look at the raw DPS values. Then again that requires a basic understanding of how AA mechanics work in the first place. I assume you were alone, so you could've avoided that. It's entirely your own fault and the enemy CV simply capitalized on the opportunity you've given him. If you refuse to play with your team in this team based game, you should be highly vulnerable to instant, unrewarding destruction. Just like in any other team based game. No, we're talking something far worse for the CV player: The permanent loss of their aircraft. AA is RNG based, just like dispersion. That is the RNG factor of a CV attack. Your guns have dispersion, a CV has to face AA. Is it really that hard to understand? Or if you still don't grasp it, imagine if every time you fire your guns you have a chance of permanently breaking them. That's what a CV has to face. And I mean stupid as in really bad at the game, not actually stupid in real life. I dunno. Bad stats, a very sparse understanding of even the most basic game mechanics, complaining about stuff being overpowered when it isn't and all that despite a large number of games played? Sounds like the average WoWs player to me.

    Team Saipan

No, because they are premium ships. WG doesn't nerf premium ships directly. It's literally their policy. At best they get taken out of the shop. So no matter how overpowered the Saipan is, she's sadly going to stay that way. Better get used to it.

Ingame Option to avoid CV batles

And how would you know the guy who got air support had his fun ruined? Maybe he was actually glad his teammate helped him so he can go ahead and do something else rather than getting potentially killed? You're also forgetting that the CV player is having fun. Alright, the guy who got killed probably didn't have fun. And considering he got struck by a CV, aka severely misplayed by putting himself in a situation in which a CV can safely approach and do lots of damage to him, he is not supposed to have fun either. What you're presenting is a completely subjective view of the situation. And again, AA is the RNG factor in CV play. And yes, the average player is actually stupid beyond belief.

Ingame Option to avoid CV batles

A medic for example is inherently much more match influencing than a sniper. None of the classes in TF2 hold even remotely the same amount of match influence. What makes them balanced is that each of their roles is viable in certain situations. Not to mention teamplay is also forced in TF2 via interaction between the different classes. The side that plays better as a team usually wins unless there is a ridiculously massive skill disparity. Just like in WoWs. Or any other team based game. So you want to tell me you can break natural law? Interesting. I'd love to know how you're gonna do it. Am I being hostile? Probably, and you deserve every last bit of it. I'm just encountering another guy who believes this completely, utterly idiotic notion that having inherently different classes have even remotely the same amount of match influence is not only possible, but the pinnacle of balance. One who obviously is unwavering in his hilariously stupid belief. And of course when bringing actual facts and game design laws to the table you deflect them by going "lol those aren't facts u lie everything u say is biased opinion!!1111". So excuse me for dealing with you in an appropriate manner. Quite frankly I'm sick of seeing this amount of sheer ignorance.

Which is obviously why I can kill 2/3rds of the enemy team in my CVs and still lose. If you're getting facerolled blaming it entirely on one player is ludicrous. More often than not you never had a chance of winning such a game anyway regardless of the CV skill disparity. Yes, CVs are the most influential ship class in the game, though mostly because the average player is stupid beyond belief. Even if the average player was pretty okay though CVs would remain the most influential class of the game based on their roles alone. Wanna know something, though? It is inherently impossible to have inherently different ship classes, each with their own unique roles and playstyles, have even remotely the same amount of potential influence on a match. It is literally impossible. There is not a single successful PvP game out there balanced around such a ridiculously, utterly stupid notion. If you don't believe that, then please, tell me, what is per definition, per natural law the opposite of diversity? Isn't it equality? Alternatively you could name me a couple of successful PvP games that have inherently different classes while maintaining the same amount of influence distributed among every class. I agree we will not come to an accord, because your view of balance is inherently flawed to it's core. Thankfully that doesn't change the truth, however.

Ingame Option to avoid CV batles

The whole game is impossible to balance if you neither want teamplay nor mechanics that require an ounce of individual skill. Which is apparently what you want by demanding to balance the game according to the lowest possible denominator. This game is fundamentally a team game, whether you like it or not. Trying to twist in in the other direction means scrapping the whole game concept and starting development anew from 0. So please, what if such a level of teamplay is absent from random battles? That simply means good players (aka those who actually teamplay) hold the advantage. It means bad players are rightfully getting punished over and over again until the last dumb idiot has learned how to play against CVs. It means CVs as a concept work, after all CVs would not be fun to play for the vast majority of CV players if everyone else was playing at the highest level. Sure, it's at the expense of the fun of the target, but the game does not have to be, and in fact should not be fun for those who misplay. As is the case in any other PvP game. Saying that CVs are overpowered and have no counter is on the same level as whining about torps. If you agree with the former but tell the latter to simply learn WASD hax you're a hypocrite of the highest order. Especially in the current version of the game it is hilariously easy to shut down a CV, whether the majority of the playerbase will actually do it or not is no longer of any concern for balancing.

    Quest system?

So we've come to the point where even daily containers, missions and/or campaigns are too difficult for some people to understand. I should be surprised. I really should. But for some reason I'm not.
  17. You could still try for Teruzuki at E-3 G node instead. Also KC devs probably understand "easy" the same way as ZUN.
  18. Maybe WG coded AP bombs to ignore the armor deck on anything but KM BBs. Whether that's intentional or not, who knows? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  19. El2aZeR

    Unplayable any more !!!

That makes her a cruiser replacement. Which is far, far worse for everyone but BBs. Again. No, it wouldn't change anything about the situation. Because the more fighters you have, the more fighters the enemy has to force their way through. The principle doesn't change no matter how many fighters a CV has, therefore you have to play intelligently to make giving fighter cover as easy as possible for the CV. Or alternatively play it so you don't need fighter cover.
  20. I don't remember how much thickness the main armor deck of the NC has but I'm sure it's over 70mm (I think it was 127mm, but not sure). Please note that you cannot see the main armor deck in the ingame armor viewer because it is sandwiched between the 32mm upper deck section and the 305mm main armor belt area.
  21. El2aZeR

BB, we can't tank for you.

So basically you're bad at the game and would rather it conform to you than to get better at it. How typical.
  22. El2aZeR

Reworked torching system aka setting fires

I agree, fires should be reworked to be more powerful in favor of cruisers and destroyers. Seriously, BBs are already too powerful. Don't expect the game to conform to you if you refuse to git gud.
  23. El2aZeR

    Unplayable any more !!!

Which even us CV players agree is really stupid. Because hey, guess what? We play cruisers, too.
  24. El2aZeR

Ingame Option to avoid CV batles

Then it is pointless to balance this game anyway because balancing a game around the lowest possible denominator will inherently result in both an incredibly stupid game and a [edited]-fest for balance.
  25. El2aZeR

    Unplayable any more !!!

Tl;dr: One does not have fun when getting punished for making a severe mistake. Oh no. Really? What a surprise in a PvP game. You'd think it would've been any different if you had gotten caught in a perfect torp volley instead? Or if a BB had just popped up at your broadside at deleted you? On the other hand, I'm sure the CV player had plenty of fun killing your exposed aft. And that's where it counts. A PvP game is not meant to be fun for everyone, only for the winning side. You happened to be on the losing one, thus don't deserve to have fun. Now, normally this would encourage a learning behavior because losing is intended to be not fun. Where did you go wrong? Why could the CV just swoop in and kill you? The answers to these questions are blatantly obvious (hint: You or your team have made a mistake and exposed yourself to air strikes), but instead you choose to come here to demonstrate your incompetence in both gameplay and game design.
