This is funny because I haven't played my Shima in perhaps well over a year as can be statistically proven. Your claims are as bad as your playstyle. Perhaps you need a small reminder? You were actually hiding way behind me in your full HP GK, still sniping at targets from well over 15km away while letting me and the rest of our team die contesting B cap.

Don't mind him, he's one of those reversing in spawn BBs shooting at targets 20km away with the most inaccurate platform imaginable (aka KM BBs), then runs away as soon as the enemy closes to 15km for the rest of the game. - attack a half HP Roma who is getting HE spammed to oblivion and is all alone with my Saipan - lose all but 1 TB So this is considered bad AA nowadays, eh? (Yeah, I know, probably just a bad case of RNG, but it did leave me wondering for a bit.)

On the other hand we can see precisely how good secondaries promote aggressive play with all these KM BBs camping at the map border. Seriously, though, unless we start actually punishing such behavior it won't change no matter how many incentives there are to close the range. -
Unless you want to trade off one of her other advantages, yes. E.g. you want good accuracy? How about making the main deck and upper belt vulnerable to cruiser HE then? You know, just like the other ships that are oh so much better. But since Roma is a premium ship she can never be targeted with direct nerfs, so you'll just have to deal with it. Fact remains, Roma sacrifices accuracy for her advantages. Bad accuracy is in fact what makes her balanced. If you don't like it, you shouldn't have bought it.

I liked the previous campaigns better but North Cape was far from disastrous. Yes, DoY is a horrid ship, but you could do the first NY mission in coop as was stated in the description. A few missions were also badly designed but you could always just repeat the other ones to advance. There was definitely room for improvement, but it wasn't unplayable.

The final Science of Victory mission rewards 7 days of premium time. Finishing the entire campaign awards you another 7 days. You can check rewards any time by hovering your mouse over the container symbol.

Sigma is not accuracy. Sigma is RNG. With high sigma you have a higher chance to get better spread but it's not as important as base dispersion is. Gun handling = shell arcs, turret traverse and shell speed. Only one of those is decent on the NC. No, NC has practically no armor as she did historically since she was armored against 14" shells. Ingame it's even worse due to the oversimplification of the armor scheme. You bow in and that's it, which makes your vulnerability against HE shells more prevalent. Clearly indisputable facts are lost on you.

- extremely weak to HE shells - practically no broadside armor - also trollish guns with hilariously bad dispersion - extremely bad gun handling Should I go on?

A reasonable game designer would've slapped a lot more weak points on the Roma for having amazing concealment alone. Too bad it's WG and they cater to BBs. Flamu said she's fine. iChase is bad anyway. How you have not managed to find out she has horrible dispersion before buying her is beyond me.

I didn't dispute that. I stated that I consider this an improvement for overall balance, not for the Midway. -

AL Graf Spee is available for limited time construction until the 26th. She can also be obtained by clearing node SP3 60 times on the event map. As for her design, well, -
Saipan is overpowered not because she has high tier planes but because she doesn't suffer losses when strafing out. Her strike package actually doesn't survive too long under concentrated AA fire of the same tier due to possessing only six planes (unless ofc you're an idiot and play AS). Kaga is both overpowered and underpowered. When up against an opponent who actually knows how to play CVs a Kaga becomes absolutely worthless with no air control ability whatsoever, losing everything else along with it. When up against someone who doesn't she is capable of just murdering ships left and right as the amount of AA required to take down her strike before it deals significant damage even to groups usually requires full AA builds T7 ships tend to not have or alternatively a good DFAA cruiser, but those are scarce in mid-tiers. She also suffers a lot more when up-tiered while benefiting more when top tier. In short, Kaga represents pretty much everything that is currently wrong with CV play cranked up to the extreme. Single USN loadouts are most definitely an improvement compared to the previous choices. Could still be tweaked a little ofc but they're better than anything USN CVs have offered before.
-
Keep in mind that you have to play one battle with a T5+ ship to get your first container after you've registered (dunno if you have to win it or not). This will start your collection, so regular containers will randomly give you a part from time to time.
-
We all know the balance between IJN and USN CVs has been neglected for far too long, but regardless I'd view this as a positive change for overall balance. Midway will still have the edge in terms of air control, but this will put Haku closer to her. Considering Haku still maintains the better strike package (barring supreme DB RNG) this kinda balances them out. Still wish they'd do something about the godawful service times of USN CVs, though.

Meanwhile I lost a game because one potato captaining a Missouri didn't even know what radar is. Nor heal. Nor DCP. He simply flooded and burned to death against 3 smoked up DDs we could've all killed if he had pushed one button.

No it doesn't. DM shells for example have an angle of fall of ~25° at 18km.

For balance, not for the Midway. This still gives Midway a slight edge in air control due to larger reserves but it does put Haku closer to her. Personally I don't even have problems with Essex' T8 fighters in T10 matches tbh. -

Midway is getting her fighters downtiered. Will make the stock grind a lot more painful (if you don't skip it like you should with all CVs) but I'd say this is actually a positive change. -
ST, American aircraft carrier Midway, tier XFlight control modules of the carrier are changed:Vought F4U-4 fighters (tier IX) are replaced with Vought F4U-1 fighters (tier VIII). Grumman F8F fighters (tier X) are replaced with Vought F4U-4 fighters (tier IX). These changes are designed to balance Midway better against her Japanese rival - Hakuryu. Source:

Then please, why should CVs be dependent on teamplay? After all if your goal is to remove that aspect of the game then CVs must be made capable of striking and killing every ship regardless of the concentration of AA power. You either go both ways or you don't. Besides, nowadays it's far easier to deny the enemy CV than it ever was in the past. Even just sticking to one more ship is often enough. Sure, it won't win you any games if the majority of your team runs for the map border, but then you've never deserved to win that game anyway. This is a team game whether you like it or not. To go back on topic: Kaga is overpowered. Kaga is also hilariously weak at the same time. She's everything a CV should NOT be.
-
The thing about TBs first is that your fighters aren't actually that far behind compared to if you had started fighters first since your TBs finish servicing a bit faster. They will still reach a cap early enough to contest air superiority if needed, regardless of the launch order of the enemy. If you start fighters first on the other hand you often lose the chance for an early kill. Thus starting TBs first only has benefits and no demerits IF you launch fighters second.
-
Wait a second, you actually want to make CVs stronger against cruisers? And weaker against BBs?! I mean, yeah, it's actually a realistic suggestion considering WG has been [edited] over cruisers for some time now, but really? Are you serious?!

Regardless of how thick the plating it, it doesn't affect the survivability of the turret against AP shells as plunging fire effectively doesn't exist. The distance needed for BB shells to achieve plunging fire is in excess of ~25km due to auto-bounce. Any hit closer than that will simply bounce off the 50mm barbette roof just as well as if it were a 200mm plate. Thus the only thing this would affect is HE and bomb performance. Still a valid reason to look into it, but citing plunging fire is stupid.
