Favorite shipgirl (Kancolle,Azur lane, Arpeggio of blue steel,Haifuri)

One would think amirite? I remembered it off the top of my head because I was one of those who noted that it's... most interesting Iowa is being shafted this way whereas Missouri is not when the latter was introduced.
-
Iowa has a 25mm "torpedo bulge" over her actual belt armor which gets overmatched by almost all BB guns in her MM spread, but penetrating only the torpedo bulge and not the belt armor behind it does no damage.
-
Please no.

How about we remove this useless feature entirely? There is a mute button along with a blacklist, that alone should be enough if you believe someone to be offensive.
-
I agree, T8 MM is horrible.

Is your flagship level 8+? Other than that, you've listed all the requirements that I can see. -
Yes, you are clearly the most mediocre player we have ever seen. Git gud scrub.

As clearly demonstrated by this thread. That you're still clinging to this narrative, while amusing, is utterly pathetic. Ahahahaha, no. CV population is low because very few people coming into WoWs are looking to play something more akin to a RTS. Those that actually do come with a RTS background will notice very quickly that CV play is hilariously easy, requiring next to no multitasking or micromanagement along with very basic decision making skills comparatively speaking and thus will not continue to play due to CV play being boring for them. Then ofc WG threw in the additional hurdles with T4/5 CVs being essentially a farce and the godawful UI. This severely reduces the potential audience. One would think getting wiped by a good player would make you want to get better. If you do not have the will to succeed, don't expect the game to conform to your level. This is whining on par with "torpedoes should be removed because I don't want to periodically use WASD hax to dodge them." Because clearly every RPG out there for example is complete and utter garbage for making classes such as "healer" or "tank" that the majority of the playerbase will never touch. So yeah,

GZ is still one of the worst CVs. That she isn't shut one down in most games proves nothing but that the average player is ridiculously incompetent. No CV inherently controls the game. You're handing control to the CV through your own bad play. But it's always easier to blame something else rather than yourself, no?

Błyskawica Game(in the background) play COBI
El2aZeR replied to T0byJug's topic in General Discussion
They're private projects and thus obviously not for sale. Lego themselves never had much love for real life war assets afaik. That said, Intrepid is made out of around 250k individual pieces. The biggest official Lego set on sale is the 75192 Millennium Falcon made out of 7541 pieces, retailing for about 800€. If we just approximate the worth of the parts from that regardless of their size, color, form and so on Intrepid would retail for about 26400€. -
Tl;dr: No. Long version: ...Do you realize that you can select and give orders to multiple squadrons at the same time? Reducing squad numbers does absolutely nothing to alleviate the micro situation (which isn't very intensive to begin with) as you can already command your 2-3 TB/DB squads as a single unit if you desire to. Also having only a single fighter means an enemy CV is even more likely to lock you out of the battle as your enemy only has one fighter squad to deal with before achieving temporary or even permanent air superiority. It'd put tremendous pressure on your own prediction, scouting and fighter capabilities, making even the slightest mistake potentially fatal. Naturally this would once again raise the skill floor for CV play, surely not what is needed.

Błyskawica Game(in the background) play COBI

Got you covered bro. I would totally buy these even if I knew it'd bankrupt me. (More pics here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/legomonster/albums/72157623014225989 ) -
1) Depends on the ship, actually. There are a few CVs that get more reserves when you research the hull, so using free exp on those should also be a priority. Generally speaking in IJN CVs you want to get fighters and TBs first, you can neglect DBs for the grind. In USN CVs you want them all upgraded as DBs can actually do good damage. 2) Dogfighting Expert gets useful only later on, you want Aircraft Servicing Expert first as this will not only cut down your service times but also give your planes a HP boost. 3) Yeah, pretty much. If you advance further, though: Slot 1: AGM1 Slot 2: DCSM1 Slot 3: AGM2 Slot 4: Personally I use PM2 as it is handy in repositioning, most others prefer DCSM2 Slot 5: CSM1 Slot 6: AGM3 (HP is better than speed) 1) Yep. 2) Eh, kinda? The thing about spotting is that you're sacrificing a squad to do it. Learn how to prioritize when your team absolutely needs spotting and when they can do without it. Spotting a DD that's at the other end of the map e.g. simply isn't useful. 3) At T4 to T6, yes. T7 and T8 you're on the back foot as you only get one fighter squad against the two of IJN. T9 and T10 on the other hand once again get an edge but your fighters are also a tier lower, so an IJN CV has quite a bit of room to outplay you if he puts some effort into it. 4) Generally speaking you want to throw everything at an exposed DD if possible, BUT since low tiers do not have manual drop that'll usually result in failure. Instead, force cruisers/BBs (preferably BBs as they're not as maneuverable) to use their DCP with your DBs, wait until it goes on cd then hit them with torps to get a perma flood which will usually kill them. Still difficult because auto drop can be easily spoofed, but should be possible with the even lower skill level of low tiers. 5) If you're USN fighting against IJN you can just engage them anywhere but inside enemy AA so you're not as reliant on friendly AA cover. For anything else, yeah. 6) With low tier IJN CVs you can kinda try, but USN ones aren't fast enough. You have a pitiful top speed with Langley and Bogue, if your team retreats you'll be left for dead. Even with IJN CVs however I'd recommend to find a position with plenty of cover to hide behind and only abandon it if your teammates have pushed far ahead or your enemy is getting uncomfortably close. If there is no such position, it's often better to play it a bit safe. 7) Eh, sure, why not. Although the basic controls really aren't that hard to learn, especially if you've ever played an RTS game in your life. As for HE and AP bombs, they'll be available to USN CVs T8+. I'd recommend using them with Lexington as she has many ships vulnerable to them in her MM spread. Essex is much better off with HE bombs, but Midway CAN technically speaking use them to bomb T10 cruisers into oblivion if they're not running DFAA or wasted it. Generally speaking though I'd recommend using HE bombs with Midway as well.

To whoever said the current meta is favoring battlewagons
El2aZeR replied to wtfzazo's topic in General Discussion
Actually BBs camping in the back are among the worst targets for CVs, I choose them only when there are literally no other worthwhile targets available. Even then I'll think about it at least thrice. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. -
[idea] How to balance AP bombs better, without changing them!
El2aZeR replied to Gojuadorai's topic in General Discussion
I'd go down a different route instead. - remove AP bombs (keep them on Enterprise and GZ if you want to preserve premium gimmicks if it's really necessary, but I'd remove them completely as part of a global change) - make DBs more accurate but also skill based (something like the earlier you lock in the more accurate it is) - make 1000lb HE bombs available to T7+ DBs instead of currently T8+, Ranger could use the love This would ensure that those who can harness the power of the 1000lb HE bombs will be able to do so without relying too much on RNG while leaving ways to counterplay for the target via simple WASD hax. Lets face it, AP bombs were an utterly unnecessary addition to the game. HE bombs are capable of doing the same amount or even more damage to most targets if RNG is favorable while offering a lot more utility. If they could consistently hit without much effort 1000lb HE bombs would actually be ludicrously overpowered (highest hit I've seen so far was a bit over 40k), thus you need a way to at least mitigate the damage just like with TBs, currently done via RNG which is stupid. That's why a skill based drop system as the one described above would be a perfect fit. -
When you see Farra is the opposing CV and you immediately go but then you realize he's in a GZ and you shift 180° to Stream at 02:04:00 here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/228378011 Demonstrates perfectly well how garbage this thing is at air control.

They camp anyway. Now at least something can kill them while they're camping. I honestly just don't care anymore. -

Meh, Flamu should've died 10 times over if the enemy CV had simply spotted him. Or the Chung Mu had hunted him down instead of turning away for whatever reason. But alas, expecting the average player to make intelligent decisions is like expecting to meet a unicorn someday in life. Honestly I'm done having sympathies with BBs. Yes, Asashio is bad for the game. Yes, BB play will probably suffer tremendously. Do I even care anymore though? Nah. BBs nowadays deserve whatever is coming for them. Most of them are doing nothing but camping in the back being worthless as all out anyway. -

Just had a game in which an Iowa did literally nothing but hide behind me. I was playing my Midway.
