Well, considering almost everything on Tirpitz was buffed at one point, I think she got a lot more than the Furutaka. Just off the top of my head: - armor was buffed several times - AA was buffed at least twice - firing angles were buffed - fairly recent secondary buff I think the only things that haven't gotten direct buffs are things related to main battery performance (aside from the one firing angle buff) and maneuverability.

Nah, Tirpitz was actually underpowered when she first released (not anymore tho). She's probably the ship that received the most direct buffs in the history of this game, really. As for your performance, your sample size is kinda low. There could be a number of reasons as to why you haven't recently performed as well as in your Bismarck in comparison, none of them have to do with yourself. If you enjoy the Bismarck and perform fairly well with her, there's really no reason why you shouldn't be able to do so in the Tirpitz as well.

Ah, I always thought they tinkered with the drag. Thanks for clearing that up. Learn something new everyday. :) Regardless though I feel like it should put USN CLs in a better spot if they'd just improve both drag and range a bit.

I'm pretty sure they also changed the drag to be far worse than it used to be in CBT. Just reverting that and maybe giving her ~500m more range would put her in the perfect spot I believe. Cleve is definitely not unplayable as she is right now but imo she could use a small buff to her gunnery.

I'd guess that they're saving the flag for some future mission. Or they're just gonna give it out for free sometime later.

Current missions are more easily done in CVs than in DDs/cruisers. Although that's relatively speaking considering the amount of AA cruisers currently in queue.

Well, when you consider that these missions are actually designed for carriers (with the additional ship tacked on top just to give people who don't play CVs a small chance to complete them) then it starts making a lot more sense. Lets take the mission you just displayed as an example. 12 fires or floodings is practically nothing for a CV. Only difficult thing is to top the scoreboard and that's a minor inconvenience in today's meta, really. As far as I've seen skimming over the tasks you can basically disregard the other ship (if there is one) every time a CV pops up as a restriction with very few exceptions. And when considered from the singular perspective that these were designed for the missions are actually fairly reasonable. They're a bit of a challenge but not overly so. If you play CVs and understand how CVs are supposed to be played. If you don't (like the great majority of the playerbase) then you're out of luck I suppose. And I can more than understand people being upset about that.

I just got killed by BB AP pens in my Kiev. From a camping BBaby teammate 15km away. While the closest enemy to me was ~10km out. And this guy said it was totally an accident. Yeah, right. ¬_¬

I'm having a blast with her so far. Imo definitely an upgrade from Balti. Hilariously vulnerable to AP bombs though unlike Balti. Beware when running her without DFAA.

Have to say, I'm very much enjoying my experience with the Kronshtadt. Been nuking them with AP DBs all day. Seriously though, it's hilarious how vulnerable these things are to air strikes. DFAA is barely enough to keep Enterprise DBs away. Midway DBs don't care one way or the other, had a game in which I yolo'd through Kronshtadt DFAA without losing a single plane and, to add insult to injury, nuked him with 7 citadels. I mean, I'd be salty about another high tier cruiser vulnerable to AP bombs (you know, like Buffalo), but since Kronshtadt isn't really a cruiser I cannot bring myself to care all that much tbh.

You are playing a wargame. Just a heads up: Buffalo and Kronshtadt are extremely vulnerable to USN AP bombs. Kronshtadt can't kill planes even with DFAA. Happy hunting, folks! :)

Honestly new Pensa is hilarious. If she had better turret traverse as well as better MM she'd be OP.

I got I-58 as well as Kirishima for free in CN AL. No idea whether they are simply given out or actually have a prerequisite. Plus new equipment (sonar + depth charge projector) and new enemy submarines to go along with them. Enemy subs cannot be killed without sonar + depth charge, just a heads up. Also is it just me or is the new login menu art just basically ripping off Touhou at this point? Not that I particularly mind ofc.
