Which is clearly why unsportsmanlike behavior is heavily penalized in all competitive sports and video games. The moment you click that battle button is the moment you waive your rights to quit without consequences. If you only want to play scenarios that favor you, go play a singleplayer game and stop bothering the people who are forced to endure your idiocy.

I actually quite like the orchestral soundtrack of WoWs. The game has a list of flaws that stretches for miles but the music certainly isn't one of them imo. Then again music is a purely subjective thing.

Except that weaknesses aren't measured in comparison to contemporaries but in their effectiveness at achieving the task they're supposed to do. Hinden AA easily shreds entire T10 strikes with DFAA. That's hardly a weakness. However even if, Hinden comes out 3rd place behind DM and Mino, significantly outperforming Moskva, Zao and Henry. 4th I guess if we include Worcester. So either among the best AA cruisers in the game or in the middle of the pack with quite some leeway until the next best contender. And not considering that Mino cannot run DFAA, making her worse at protecting allies at longer ranges. Actually I did skim the thread. :D

First of all, it's a common misconception that turtleback is what's causing AP bombs to penetrate. They don't. They actually provide extra protection due to angling. The reason why T7-9 KM BBs are vulnerable to AP bombs is because they have insufficient deck protection on large parts of their ships. There's a few reasons as to why I've been using AP bombs on my Midway (Enterprise is a no brainer because T7 USN HE bombs are comparable to IJN ones in performance with worse accuracy, making them worse than AP bombs even against targets that don't eat citadels). Currently my biggest reason is the amount of idiots sailing around without DFAA. If I can take out a DD and a utility cruiser in a strike, that's two high impact ships gone. So instead of killing one ship and torching another for a decent chunk, I get two kills almost every time I fly a strike until I eventually run out of targets. AP bombs are also a LOT more accurate than HE bombs, thus they don't have to rely on RNG to give you big hits. The manual drop circle is just slightly bigger than a DD. If I can catch a ship vulnerable to AP bombs at the right moment, that's almost a guaranteed kill with no interference from RNG whatsoever. All my bombs will hit and inevitably cause crippling or outright fatal damage. They also fit quite nicely into the 2/2/2 loadout of a Midway. You already have two TB squads which are general purpose (and devastatingly so), decreasing the value of having another general purpose weapon. As such you can afford to trade your DBs off for a more specialized choice, which can even be recommended considering the current meta and if you're skilled enough to make them work. It's not a direct downgrade by any means, AP bombs still do decent damage against all but the most lightly armored targets. Less than a big HE bomb hit, but without all the RNG tacked on to HE bombs too.

No, you're the only one being ignored. And for quite good reasons, really. This has been discussed to death. In practical terms skill based MM for randoms is a horrible idea in WoWs due to the extremely small playerbase, made even worse by its uneven distribution among classes. If you implement a dynamic system on the other hand you'll basically get the same result that we have now so that's wasted effort. You can maybe start thinking about it when this game reaches 100-150k players (aka probably never). Right now with peaks of less than 30k it's more likely to drive away players with massive queue times rather than solving anything.

Quite frankly the current implementation of BCs seems to be an excuse to put even more cruiser consumables on pseudo-BBs. -
Basically yes, AP bombs could be set up to punish only BBs by giving them a less sensitive fuze (so that they don't arm on cruisers) and either more penetration power to score citadels or more alpha strike so their penetration damage is boosted. I believe it's practically impossible for AP bombs to punish only turtlebacks. In fact a turtleback is technically speaking desirable against AP bombs as they can make them bounce (if steep enough) or just present more armor for them to penetrate due to their angle. Personally I'd just remove AP bombs and tie DB accuracy to a skill based mechanic (something as simple as "the earlier you lock, the more accurate the drop is gonna be" will suffice), then reduce service times of US squads. The 1000lb HE bombs are extremely potent if they manage to get most or all of their bombs on target, only let down by RNG and hilariously long service times.

Why it even needed testing to see that a DD with smoke + radar is a horrible idea is beyond me. But at least they didn't go through with it. Heal + range alone already sounds pretty good imo. Adding DFAA and speed boost to that seems a bit overkill. -
So that's reducing BB population which is way too high to begin with and introducing more cruisers, which are supposed to be the most numerous class, to the game, no? I'm sorry, weren't you talking about negative effects? Because I don't see any.

Here's an easy fix: - Bump DM to T9 (removing Pensa) - Make a Buffalo clone with DM guns and AA for T10 Will totally be balans comrade! On a more serious note, DM is among the most powerful cruisers currently in the game. If you can't make her work, git gud.

And next thing you know people will complain about how cancer CV AA divs are again. Be careful what you wish for. If DFAA were to appear on the Akizuki and her successors their base values would need to get nerfed pretty hard. As it stands Akizuki would be just a tad behind Atlanta DFAA (400 dps vs 435 dps with BFT, long range guns only). -
To be fair it's going below anyway after you open it. They're just trying to be efficient!

I like the Buffalo better. Never felt quite comfy in T9 Balti although she could deliver stellar impact on a battle from time to time. No such feelings with the Buffalo. Also 12 freedom shells per salvo is amazing.

Quite a few actually. When up against same tier CVs almost all BBs and a few cruisers fall into that category. Problem is you're gonna need at least BFT & AFT to elevate them to at least adequate levels (which is the case in every tier really). Which as you can imagine is a rather rare sight in low tiers. I'm unashamed to admit I run a 19 point captain on my Kongo (or ARP Hiei, rather), I've got both BFT & AFT on her and she deals with same tier air strikes rather well. Gotta speshulize to deal with core gaem mechanik comrade!
