Ah, yes. Using your torpedoes at such a range is really effective after all.

Personally I'm sitting at 156/190, with ~100 core combat/expedition ships and most of the rest on the training bench. So yeah, get those naval base expansions asap! -
penalty for accidentily killing my self?
El2aZeR replied to horusblack's topic in General Discussion
Can't you kill yourself with torps in a DD by riding along the border and dropping torps at a specific angle? I remember seeing a video about that like 2 years ago. -
Really? In my experience it is actually getting worse. Had a game today in which literally all 10 BBs were shooting HE.

Personally I've only bought naval base expansions. You don't necessarily need extra repair (or construction) docks, but they would make the game a bit more comfy. Other than that, reinforcement expansions and rings ofc hold value but are a bit expensive imo. If you have a steady income you can set aside a small amount of money so that you can buy stuff you need every few months. That's how I do it. -

"Ise kai ni requires 2 blueprints, 1 catapult, 1 action report and devmats. There will be new quests reward medals, a catapult and action report." Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/kancolle/comments/8qrq52/news_613_patchnote/ Does Tanaka think blueprints grow on trees or sth? -
Average player is becoming more and more braindead. No / Yes. AA is a bubble that always fires with full force. Secondaries have gun angles just like your main guns.

Missouri is straight up overpowered. Even the devs know this. They've stated that they will not make the Missouri available for sale again unless they nerf her. Musashi and Kronshtadt are balanced by making them extremely vulnerable to a class that almost no one plays anymore.

Comrade. Are you of real mind? Suggest big battleship be punish for showing broadside?

Did you download the NA installer? If the mod doesn't work make sure to download the EU installer instead. Sucks that you'll have to redownload the entire game but it's the only surefire solution. Every region has its own WoWs client which is locked to that specific region. You can't change it (unless ofc the mod works) and usually need to install a client for every region if you want to play on more than one.

Considering the amount of battles without CVs vastly outnumber the battles with CVs and have been since practically forever, care to write me a check? Your blind CV hate just gets more and more hilarious with every post.
-
Really shows what your opinion is worth on CVs.
-
Honestly I believe the actual reason is because they wanna release WoWs on consoles. Naturally the current CV playstyle doesn't fit to such peasants requirements. I tried playing StarCraft N64 once. ONCE. Though that brings up questions as to what roles CVs are going to play in the rework. Scouting is obviously going to be much diminished, as is most likely air to air combat. That leaves striking as the main role, which would also make CVs much more attractive to potatoes. Aka a CV will be able to attack any ship regardless of how much AA defense is in the area. If I turn out to be right I can only imagine the amount of whine calling for WG to revert the rework.
-
It was removed due to causing performance issues.
-
Are you joking? A cyclone is the greatest thing that can ever happen to you in a CV. It basically gives you the ability to ignore AA until you're within drop distance. And if you've made a perfect approach you will lock in before someone can even react thanks to rendering time, making DFAA useless.
-
I mean, if you can't see your target anymore after you've fired, you can't exactly judge whether he maneuvered to dodge your shells either?
-
Considering you average less than 1 kill per match (0.7 to be precise), yes it is. What, you think because you managed 7 kills once that you're good at the game? Are you actually for real? And since you're so inclined to blame MM, you're even horrible in your T7 ships which are extremely likely to be top tier. Face it, you suck at the game. The faster you accept that, the quicker you can start working on getting better. Armor penetration follow historical values in this game. https://forum.worldofwarships.eu/topic/59528-armor-penetration-curves/ http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNGER_15-52_skc34.php Feel free to compare if you don't believe me. Bismarck fired 91 shots during the Battle of Denmark Strait and scored at most six hits (depending on how many hits can be credited to Prinz Eugen instead). That's at best ~6,6% hitrate which back then was actually considered pretty good. To put this into perspective your ingame hitrate with the Bismarck is almost 5 times better than that. Then again Bismarck didn't hit a single thing during her sinking although her fire was described as accurate until her FCS was taken out. So yeah, accuracy isn't nerfed in this game. It is buffed in a hilarious fashion. The most inaccurate gun you can find in this game is still more accurate than ships were in real life. Oh, no, a potato like you can get somewhat good games from time to time? Tell you what, there is also a chance that you will win the lottery. It's extremely small, but it's there. Fact remains however that in any match you're more likely to be a liability than anything else. Statistics tell your average performance. And even when adjusted to recent games it is bad. Skill is also measured in consistency and not in how you performed in a few games. For example just because you've beaten a great chess player once in 100 matches doesn't make you better than him. Deal with it. Also are those scores supposed to impress us or sth? If anything you've proven that even at your best you perform in a manner which can at most be described as adequate. It's not even good.

Balance problem division vs no division
El2aZeR replied to U156dasboot's topic in General Discussion
If 3 good players working together can carry a team to victory that's not a balancing problem. That's a problem with the human factor and needs to be treated as such. -
To be fair since mine happened too before the penalty system rework both of our information could be outdated. Before that I did accidentally strafe a friendly full USN fighter squad once (he changed course and flew straight into my strafe path). Didn't get pink.

RNG = OK (..as long within competative limits)
El2aZeR replied to Yaskaraxx's topic in General Discussion
Well, there is your problem. Currently BB AP shells are far more effective against DDs than HE shells. -
Threshold is very high. I've seen it happen only once and that was with well over 15 friendly plane kills, ending with me losing more fighters to my teammate than to the enemy team. No worries tho. Both enemy CVs went for a snipe on him, so I simply let him die then comfortably 1v2'd the match. I am not a good person.

Nah, nothing. Honestly I'd be very surprised if we even see it before Winter arrives.

Official statement is never unless they nerf her.
