A negligible loss of DPM is an extremely good trade when stacked against that. To misconstrue one of the greatest advantages of CVs into a weakness is either laughably ignorant or blatantly disingenuous. Aka CVs are fundamentally broken and as such there is no recourse but to either rework them from the ground up again or remove them. There is no other real solution. No they don't. Aside from Arty in WoT, which btw is getting another rework, literally every example is generally accepted to be balanced on a competitive level because they have suitable weaknesses to balance out their strengths. CVs on the other hand have no noteworthy weaknesses and as such are completely broken which is the primary reason why they have been removed from competitive play. MIM is primarily a damage farmer that on a top level cannot compete with Midway/Haku in match impact but is overall very good at what it does, as such is on par with or outclasses everything else.

Ein Luftangriff ist deutlich zuverlässiger, hat keine Limitationen bezüglich range, cover & concealment und hat kein counterplay. CVs sind deswegen die besten damage dealer im Spiel. Alle 50 Gefechte mal einen Kreuzer auf max range zu dev striken ist absolut lächerlich im Vergleich zu regelmäßig jedes Schiff innerhalb weniger Minuten vernichten zu können.

It is far too late to do anything about gameplay quality. Changes were needed years ago but WG has done nothing but exacerbate the issue. If anything were to be done at this point it would inevitably kill the game since it is a miracle that the majority of this playerbase can even breathe.

Ganz einfach. Der T10 CV spreadsheet balancing Punkt für WG ist weder Hakuryu noch Midway. Der ist Audacious. Und damit wäre die MvR doch wieder recht vergleichbar. Deshalb wird die Audacious, die ja quasi schon tot geboren wurde, auch nicht mit den anderen gleichgezogen. Das ist das Niveau, auf das WG wirklich CVs sehen will. Und warum dürfen Haku and Midway so bleiben wie sie sind? Weil 1. sowieso genug Tomaten die stats von denen runterziehen und 2. ansonsten der CV rework abstirbt - was der ohnehin gerade schon tut.

I did. Your struggles, and anyone else's in extension, with CV play are entirely a product of your own skill and choices given that the performance of others proves that it is possible to do much better. Thus there is nothing else to say other than git gud.

I actually think it looks quite decent. Won't dislodge Haku and Midway from their thrones ofc but at least it seems better than Audacious/FDR/MvR. Can't say for sure until I've played it though.

I suppose it is natural for someone who wants to believe their lack of results is due to ship capability rather than having to admit that they're just bad to be mad when others prove them wrong. Have you ever considered that if you're bad, or as you put it a "mere mortal", then you simply don't deserve to perform as in any other ship?
