Sitting on my Mino. He's probably better off on a Conq tho. I just don't have the will to grind through Monarch.

Or preventing people from joining a team to prevent overflow? Yeah, that'll have the community on the fence real quick. "Why are we getting punished when we just pick the stuff we want to pick?" "Why can't I join the team I want to join?" And so forth and so on. The only way to avoid all this is to not make such an event team based in the first place and have everyone pull one way. You know, like Project R was. Ironically the first big event remains the best one.

First of all Also once everyone on the Shark team has gotten all their loyalty tokens they'll likely switch, so in a few weeks Eagles will be miles ahead with Sharks having no chance of winning Honestly pseudo contests like these are pretty much always doomed to fail.

carrier The state of CVs - why the rework is necessary
El2aZeR replied to Teekesselchen's topic in General Discussion
You want devs to delete their Curriculum Vitae folder? Do you even know how long it takes to compile all those long forgotten certificates, scan them all in then sort them so it doesn't resemble a cluttered mess just to have everything on hand when sending out your next application? Trust me, you don't want to do this twice. Even suggesting it to someone should be in violation of the International Bill of Human Rights. -
Honestly nowadays you could maybe shave off a second on her reload as a minor adjustment. Nothing too major is needed tho.

Quick search of Fletcher stats reveals gems like this Pretty sure I can find similar stuff all over. Lets face it, as long as WG lets new players run headfirst into walls time and time again without making them improve average player skill will remain abysmal. That's a global problem, not just with CVs. -

I guess we're getting a Nelson class. -
Basically Saipan is still more than capable of sniping same or lower tier DDs, which doesn't really put her behind in terms of game influence. Her planes also turn around and service faster, which makes up the alpha difference quite a bit. The only thing Saipan really sucks at is spotting, but that's negligible in randoms.

On a more serious note, hope you have a nice day! :) (Or rather had considering how long ago you posted this)

Fair enough. I thought it superfluous to type the same thing twice. If you've missed it, @Yedwy did a pretty good job of describing why Saipan breaks T7 CV balance:

Which I answered to satisfaction for the guy I actually addressed. It's not my fault you keep beating a dead horse. Is there, really? Because in both situations if your teammates or you don't do it, you simply lose. Which is why everyone knows to target healers first. Ironic, last time I dropped an Izumo in my Midway I lost an entire squad on approach. Also braindead people are getting punished. Oh, no. Excuse me that I cannot feel sorry for that. You honestly believe that is wrong? Wonder why you're not endorsing BB citadels to be completely removed. You can easily weaken the position of such ships without attacking into a storm of AA directly and losing all your planes for practically nothing. Unless ofc the entire enemy team actually isn't braindead for once, at which point you can only spot. Weird, considering I've been saying that for years. The only thing I find hilarious is that you took a match in which you did all to demonstrate that CVs are op when in reality you've done anything but that. One of the premier goals of the rework is to make CVs easier and more intuitive to play so that casuals can succeed with them. We already have a CV that is precisely that. It's called Graf Zeppelin. Just remember, this is what you wanted. I mean, seeing this coming from a damage farming potato who would rather watch his team lose and then blame it on CVs this is hilarious beyond belief. -
A lot of squads + faster service times and the fact that individually Midway fighters are stronger means that Haku requires much better map awareness, decision making, micromanagement and perhaps most importantly a good grasp on fighter combat. The faster playstyle alone is often enough to throw people off. if you are capable of doing all that however then Haku unleashes potential that you can often only dream of in a Midway. For every strike a Midway flies you can almost fly two. Every time a Midway spends her fighters you can fly two strikes. You can use your DBs as expendable scouts if you wish to do so. Your fighters service so fast you can afford to resupply every time a Midway has to turn around. And so forth and so on.

RN DDs and their significance for DDs in general
El2aZeR replied to Prospect_b's topic in General Discussion
So this is what I've been degraded to? A support hotline? I cri evrytim. Basically even Yamato full AA chews up T10 strikes pretty hard, but BBs also get HE spammed a lot which will eventually make any BB a vulnerable target on their own even against lower tier CVs. This is especially true when hit by balans RN BB HE which can strip ships of their entire mid- and short-range AA in a single salvo. -
Which forum members have you seen in random battles?

AP bombs are much balans xaxaxaxaxaxaxa! -
Likewise I've easily bullied enemy super unicum Midways in my Haku. Nah, Haku just scales better with skill but also demands a higher skill floor to play effectively. I will agree that having AP bombs is hilarious against AA cruisers, tho. Then again AP bombs shouldn't exist in the first place.

carrier The state of CVs - why the rework is necessary
El2aZeR replied to Teekesselchen's topic in General Discussion
Weird, I wonder if there is a relation? Fact is even most unicums behave like braindead monkeys in CV matches then complain about CVs being overpowered when getting punished for it. Just yesterday one of your clan mates called me cancerous when in reality I had all impact on the match until all his teammates started to throw the game horrendously, which can hardly be laid down at my feet. it was also one of three matches I was able to sail into a cap (one of which was a standard battle) and one of two I was able to complete a cap in a CV. This is where we are right now, the average playerbase is simply so braindead that I can take caps in my CVs on a regular basis. I actually have started to expect to take a cap at least once per session these days and am disappointed when I can't. Probably because WG has been balancing ships according to the current CV rework prototype and not how they are right now. And quite frankly that makes sense. No need to do things twice. Still, CVs were the only thing that could counter concealment with everything added later on precisely because CVs went extinct, as such gimmicks such as radar are actually the problem. CV spotting also had a direct counter in smoke, which WG ofc nerfed in their infinite wisdom. Also Shima is just useless in general. Just sayin'. Playing DDs in a CV match can be as easy as just watching the minimap and clock to never get hit even once. Honestly the last time I got killed by a CV whether directly or indirectly in a DD is well over a year ago. And quite frankly in matches with no CVs all their match influence is literally just shifted over to DDs, yet for some reason I never see whine threads about that. Just having one of your DDs suicide like an idiot or even pick the wrong ship to play is often more than enough to lose the match by default. I guess DDs need removal, too? Seems that WG agrees with you considering all the things they've added to kill off DDs. Clearly why 3 player CV divs find so much success against 12 other players and are hated by most solo CV players because just two AA ships shut them down completely. Now you're just contradicting yourself. Onesided matches are caused by braindead potatoes. Changing CVs will have no impact on that whatsoever. And here is one of the greatest misconceptions in game design, especially when it comes to PvP. Interaction is what is supposed to be fun. Getting interacted with isn't. Thus literally the only thing that matters here is that the CV has to have fun when he's blowing up things. And let me assure you, it is fun at least if none of numerous bugs show up and ruins your day. it's no different than e.g. landing a devastating strike with a well aimed AP or torpedo salvo. This is a PvP game. Your objective is literally to ruin the fun of the other team just as it is their objective to ruin yours. Designing a game that is only pure fun regardless of the situation means you're a game designer. If e.g. getting blown up by a CV were fun, people would probably just suicide into planes all day. Game designers intentionally make things completely unfun so that you avoid doing them. It's part of the learning process if done right. Sadly that part is also practically nonexistent in WoWs. The static playstyle is a symptom of the game's design itself, not CVs. The best way to tank is to park bow on next to an island. The best way to deal damage is to stay concealed while you can keep your guns firing. The best way to radar will be to stay behind an island close by so you cannot be denied. And so forth and so on. Nothing about this will change if you remove CVs, in fact it's very likely that competitive play will become even more static as, well, why would you need to move if you're in a strong position with no one capable of spotting you? As for randoms, I find my team more inclined to push and play for the win when I'm spotting while I can often punish anything that tries to play static. If the enemy doesn't counter push and prefers to just lose instead, it's only fair that my team wins no? Seems a lot more dynamic to me than the constant bow on island camping while ignoring caps that you usually see in matches without CVs. -
Nah, Haku is better in literally every way but is also more difficult to play. In that she kinda strikes balance with the Midway. Enterprise is actually worse than Shokaku overall. It's just that people love playing ships vulnerable to AP bombs.

Still trying to lie your way out of this, huh? I wonder why you always seem to ignore questions you cannot answer? To reiterate: Also it's incredibly ironic that you of all people is saying that the stats about you apparently lie when you've been harking on CV global stats without interpretation for years. I guess things are only true as long as they suit your needs. Who could've guessed? Actually no, because high dispersion helps potatoes hit things even when they horribly misaim or the target times his dodge to perfection. Accurate guns benefit skilled players, not braindead monkeys. As for wrong positioning and angling, BBs that do not have reliably punishable citadels already outnumber those who do. Stating the reality of things is oversimplifying, huh? I wonder who of us is really running out of arguments, especially since you cannot answer questions that are apparently easily answered according to you. Hint: Teamplay isn't over the top grand strategy playing with VOIP. Teamplay is done on an individual basis and often doesn't even require communication. Considering you literally told us that you attacked those two all match long to prove that AA is useless, yeah, there were likely better targets. And no, you totally didn't argue with us about how awesome you were in that match despite being completely useless. Nah, that surely never happened. Since you seem to ignore the obvious signs of development from WG the only one who is in for a rude awakening is you. Remember: -

El2aZeR replied to Teekesselchen's topic in General Discussion
I mean your general stats and playstyle. Let's take Zao for example. You have a survival rate higher than CV averages, hilariously high damage yet a comparatively low WR. Then we have replay evidence and statements from you basically saying "We were losing, so I didn't want to do anything to change that." You know, just like the mindset of every random potato out there. Yeah, any court would pronounce you guilty. Weird, just a few pages ago you stated something along the lines of "randoms can't teamplay, so nerf CVs." Well, randoms can't do anything, so I guess we need to cater to them in every other aspect as well. Or should this only be applied to CVs which would make you nothing but a baseless whiner? Btw, still no answer about why you should rely on teamplay in terms of spotting and consumable use when you shouldn't rely on them for AA cover. Or why CVs should have to rely on their team to play objectives or spam down AA ships when obviously teamplay is bad and nothing should be bound by it. And you still can't list a single successful multiplayer game that has fundamentally different classes which all have the same amount of potential influence despite stating that every game apparently follows that hilarious principle. Tell me, can you become a bigger joke? - said he attacked a Moskva and Montana all game long. Didn't get a kill and instead shows off pitiful exp values (that were low even for CVs) and other stats, claiming that CVs are op on that basis - actually skilled CV players break down how bad he performed - now denies it. How typical. -
carrier The state of CVs - why the rework is necessary
El2aZeR replied to Teekesselchen's topic in General Discussion
Except your reasoning for nerfing CVs is to balance the game around the average player. After all it is more than proven that CVs have much diminished power in higher levels of play. Divided over two ships on the PTS client which equals no contribution to victory at all. Then again it seems damage is the stat you most value considering your stats and playstyle. It's easy ofc. CV play in general is easy in randoms if you've played any hardcore RTS at a higher level and due to the fact that the enemy team often doesn't offer any opposition. It's like playing against inactive CPUs in sandbox mode in a RTS game of your choosing. If you honestly think that is what makes CVs op, congrats! You've failed game design 101. -

- wishes the game to be balanced around the average player - consequences of balancing the game around the average player are displayed - "OMG U R SO STUPID! USE YOUR BRAIN!" So I guess you only want CVs to be balanced around the average player of every other class? After all it seems having to rely on teammates to spot or use consumables is fine to you, but relying on them for AA cover is not. Big wonder, the only class you don't play (or rather the one time you did in PTS you performed hilariously bad in) and punishes you for sitting in the back and damage farming is the class you call op and want to see nerfed. No one could've guessed that. -

Oh, look, just two caps taken as a CV. Which btw is the second time I was able to complete a capture and the third time I was able to sail into a cap as a CV today. If this is the playerbase you wanna balance the game around be my ing guest.
