Point + Click Adventure Game With AP Bombs

Oh, GZ is dangerous to much more than KM BBs. In fact thanks to turtleback KM BBs can at least bounce some bombs, ironically making them more likely to survive a strike. See this list for BBs: https://www.reddit.com/r/WorldOfWarships/comments/7hizcy/a_proper_look_at_ap_bombs_from_tvii_to_tx/ And with a 35mm fuse pretty much everything but DDs get oneshot on a good hit.

Point + Click Adventure Game With AP Bombs

Giving CVs a direct counter to the ships that are supposed to counter CVs? Honestly if that doesn't make things worse, what will? Yeah, OP is a whiny potato, but his point is still valid. AP bombs in their current iteration are horribly designed. Take it from the best Enterprise player EU.
  4. No they don't. They look the same superficially but are actually quite different.
  5. Have to be honest, I'm probably one of the few guys here who have never experienced any problems with the game center? I mean for me it's just switching from one launcher to another and I have more than enough harddrive space to spare. I can understand others taking issues with this however.

Ah, so this is how the CV rework will look like.

    Standard / Domination - I wanna choooooose

Seriously, the stupidity of such people is fascinating in a way. Just today I lost a game because a GK ran away from our cap (standard battle) which was being contested by a Shima running 20km torps. Reason? "I DON'T WANNA PAY REPAIR COSTS STFU NOOB!" "Why not use hydro?" "LOL ONLY CRUISERS HAVE HYDRO L2P!" And I just sat there like

How about we make all ships on the losing team explode when points reach 1000 or the clock runs down to 0 to emphasize that you don't save money by surviving?
  9. Which is a moot point. In a game, interaction is fun, being interacted with isn't (unless ofc it's a teammate supporting you with some ability). There isn't a single successful game in existence where being interacted with is fun. 60-65%, sure. 70% is pushing it a little. Though it is pretty much impossible to play through something without picking up at least some basic understanding of what you're supposed to be doing. - Is what I'd like to say but the amount of idiots sailing around with 10k+ battles played proves me wrong quite clearly.
  10. No offense, but T10 is not exactly the best environment to learn how to play the game. I recommend playing a lot of low and mid tier ships if you really want to improve.

Code from Twitch relating to gamescon

You're using a UI coded by WG. What did you even expect?
  13. One of these days you too will realize that to counter a CV's damage potential you only require either a single AA ship or 1-3 other capital vessels depending on what ship you yourself play. Sticking in one giant blob is indeed moronic more often than not, but that's not what is required so it's a moot point. And ironically a lot of things that are causing the camping meta can in fact be countered by CVs. Cruisers behind island? They shoot and they get spotted. Bow camping BBs? Easy targets (unless ofc they have support). Ships camping in smoke? Surprise torp drop. Camping in general? CV just gets more and more strikes off. CVs force you to keep moving, maintain awareness, try to play the objective and not just sit around. Though unsurprisingly the majority of the playerbase would prefer to camp bow on or behind cover then whine about CVs instead the moment they get punished. If that is limiting tactical options to you, then yes, I'd like it very much for these boring "tactics" to get limited. Because if these are allowed ironically the very thing you've condemned comes to pass: Ships staying bow on or behind islands, basically taking their keyboard hand off to sip drinks while occasionally using the mouse to fire salvos while RNG decides who wins or loses. You know, like we see it every day in randoms ever since CVs have practically died out.

Way ahead of you. Also you forgot me regularly going for caps and succeeding a fair amount of times. In my CVs.

Please don't tell me there will be missions during gamescom. Because I will have to work there all week long. Then again I'm in the same hall as WG. Maybe I can bribe them.

German BB AP Bombs Ruins the game

To be fair it is really stupid that you have to make a choice in the first place.

    Moskva - tips plox

Honestly I would switch FP with AFT but that's likely just personal preference (since I play CVs myself). You can also switch EL and EM for DE if you want. Turrets turn fast enough and you really don't wanna give up PT.

A bit outdated but I believe most of it still applies.

    Radar Discussion Megathread

And now you know how CV players are treated. Fun, no? Honestly radar could use some minor adjustments (like a couple of seconds lower duration on USN cruisers, a few seconds longer cooldown and perhaps most important of all radar range should not be equal to or higher than concealment), but with the CV rework it ironically becomes a necessity as the premier spotting class will most likely lose that role. Currently yes, radar is technically superflous because CVs are already designed to provide lots of vision (regardless of whether or not they are rare), but it doesn't really make sense to waste time and manpower to adjust one mechanic when the other is going to be radically changed anyway.
  20. And what, pray tell, does that have to do with the fundamental need to teamplay in a team game? Jumping from one thing to another, eh? Come on, at least try.

Woah. I sincerely hope you'll get to finish this project. It looks incredible.
  22. Which still means you cannot guarantee that you won't take damage unlike against air strikes. Whether or not you take damage from air strikes is also skill dependent, the requirements are just incredibly low. Sticking to teammates barely requires any skill or sound judgement whatsoever, which is one of the reasons why CV alpha strike is high. Ease of counter is an important balancing factor. For example there is no real counter to HE shells which is why their damage potential is low (barring thermonuclear RN BB HE shells). AP shells can be somewhat foiled by angling which is why citadel hits deal massive damage. Torpedoes are easily dodged via prediction and WASD so they have to deal crippling damage. And finally it's not only impossible to not see an air strike coming but you don't even need to do much to wipe it out without taking any damage, thus their alpha strike must be balanced accordingly. If you haven't noticed competency has nothing to do with AA itself. AA is a passive mechanic, whether the teammates you are sailing with are any good is irrelevant to denying air strikes. There is no skill involved. I mean sure, if they're sailing around in unfavorable positions you are forced to sail with them. After all if you yourself are playing stellar while your team is and the enemy team, even if they're individually not as good as you, are overall better, then you deserve to lose. That's simply what a team game is. The better TEAM wins, not the best individual player. Contrary to popular belief no class is independent, not even CVs. In fact due to being unable to contest objectives and their incapability to strike certain ships or formations CVs are the most team dependent ships, which is why they get the most powerful supporting abilities. Weird really, that the one class forced to play for the team in a team game finds the most success or is alternatively completely useless. Could swear there is a relation. As for DFAA, yes, your job as a cruiser is to provide air cover and not annoy DDs. Torpedoes are easily foiled with WASD and a bit of game awareness anyway. Though if you really wanna take hydro you can also invest a massive amount of points and upgrades into AA so you won't need DFAA. Again, balancing around the average player yields you stuff like Graf Zeppelin. That's the perfect CV for them. Easy to use, accessible and requiring no skill whatsoever so even braindead monkeys can play it effectively. On that note, if you don't want any teamplay in a team game, how does radar and hydro on BBs sound? After all you shouldn't need to rely on cruisers to spot DDs and clear out smokes for you, no? Also
  23. Honestly I thought about hitting you with a full strike because I've seen that loss coming from miles away, but then decided to try to play for the win anyway which ironically turned out to be a mistake. Wanted to feed you planes towards the end but the game ended too fast. What can I even do? T_T

Jack Dunkirk - where do you put him?

Halsey doesn't have a twin either. My guess is Campaign reward commanders simply don't get one.
