  1. The logic is in using an actually meaningful metric instead of average WR since average WR is quite worthless as you have proven yourself.
  2. Global changes over the years have been quite significant even outside of just global nerfs. MM changes, introduction of new ship lines, new premium ships to surpass old ones etc. all have to be considered as they all can have significant impact on an individual ship's performance. For example Belfast used to be severely overpowered not only because of its capabilities but because T7 was the golden tier. That hasn't been the case for quite some time. The chance to get a premium CV was actually quite high, number I've seen thrown around is ~30%. Regardless it is in the same vein of calling a ship given out for free when that event is well over 5 years old at this point, meaning plenty of players who got the ship are no longer around, and not everyone participated in it. Regardless your point was about potatoes muddying stats, no? Well, how about including every potato who brainlessly bought loot boxes then and got Enterprise from those? Do those not count? Or how about we simply remove Kamikaze R from the equation? That still leaves us with similar sample sizes for all but GC, yet for some reason Enterprise still outperforms them. Enterprise weathered global nerfs much better than all other CVs because it was way overpowered from the beginning. Besides, your argument is self defeating given that the sudden removal of the ship also means good players were unable to obtain it later on as well.
  3. And your global stats on wows-numbers, including several years of legacy stats, reflects that... how exactly? How about you do what you preach? As for me personally, I don't particularly care much about average WR since I know it is largely a worthless metric due to reasons you already listed and many more. I used it because you seem to hold it in high esteem for whatever reason. Instead solo WR ceiling is the metric to judge when you want to know which ship is the best. And even that has its limits as it doesn't completely eliminate all other factors such as low tiers being seal clubbing territory which almost all of the ships you named fall under. Regardless I'm going through the wows-numbers leaderboards right now and I cannot find a single player with a sufficient sample size that has a solo WR higher than 80% in any of the supposedly more overpowered ships. The highest I've seen so far is ~78% on Fujin, roughly 5% off of Enterprise which at the top level is quite significant. And Enterprise has to make do without seal clubbing. Weird, isn't it? And while we're at it, Enterprise was in fact given out for free - as part of the air drop loot boxes or whatever they were called of which several could be obtained by just playing at the beginning of the rework.
  4. It is still the most overpowered ship in the game by far. Since you're so fond of average stats, lets check that shall we? Average WR EU in the last two months: Enterprise - 66,67% Belfast - 61,05% GC - 65,64% Kamikaze - 65,72% Kamikaze R - 64,64% Fujin - 66,13% In fact having a quick glance through the list Enterprise may be the highest average WR ship in the entire game. 5. I never thought that. I do however know what is and isn't mechanically possible in CV play based on my own experience, which in turn disproves all sorts of things potatoes love to whine about - such as supposedly unavoidable flak. I do it because it's fun for me actually. I don't particularly care about my personal stats much beyond using it to judge whether I'm improving or not. One more myth you want to add to the list, huh? I mean, I could also accuse you of spamming Enterprise for much the same reason, but not only would that be conjecture at best, it'd be hilariously hypocritical.
  6. Since the release of FDR I've added that it is the only CV incapable of always evading flak pretty much every time. An exception does not shake the rule though. Is nitpicking the only thing left to do now that your "lol elitist" shtick no longer works? It is entirely possible to go several matches without hitting flak once. But eventually anyone will make a mistake as is human. Hence in terms of mechanics flak is always avoidable, all flak you do hit is your own fault. Or to put up a simple analogy, if you aren't capable of hitting anything with the most accurate rifle in the world, that's on you and not the rifle. But even the most talented and skilled marksman will miss a shot with it from time to time. Doesn't mean the rifle is inaccurate even in the slightest however.
  7. One which you perpetuated, not me. You essentially just busted your own myth, congratulations. There are really only 2 exceptions to the rule, one being FDR and the other Ark Royal and I'm not even sure about Ark since I haven't played it in a while. All other CVs are capable of always evading flak. It is just that mechanical perfection is impossible for humans to achieve on a consistent basis. I'm sure that someone could write a bot that always evades flak though, proving my point. It is still possible to speed juke flak once you're locked into a drop, albeit more difficult nowadays due to the recent adjustment in flak duration.
  8. Funnily enough it wasn't intended initially but that is beside the point. So you do understand the concept of flak always being evadable. Weird how you derived your... interesting myths from that then.
  9. I do get hit by flak from time to time. However that is always down to me making a mistake. Perhaps what you fail to understand is that the concept of flak always being evadable means if you do get hit by flak it is not because it wasn't possible to evade, it is because you've made a mistake in your evasion pattern.
  10. That 899 is often successful is due to the incompetence of the average CV player and nothing more. There are only a few high tier maps where range mod Musashi is capable of hitting you behind your spawn without significantly overextending and by the time spotter goes off cd again the match is likely already decided anyway. I have been hit, I have however never lost more than half my HP and in fact I haven't lost to 899 yet, though sample size for that is naturally fairly small. It is a simple matter of commanding auto pilot to turn once you see shells fired on the tactical map, which typically occurs every ~30 seconds. It's not that hard. Though I suppose it is difficult to understand for someone who doesn't understand the concept of flak always being evadable. It's simple math. Lets assume a squad of 12 with 2000 HP each, 24k HP total. Sector instant damage is gonna deal 1200 damage for DDs and 840 HP for all other classes against that. This is the best case scenario and it is already anemic.
  11. My, you're just giving more and more reasons why average values are worthless, no? Doesn't that run contrary to your narrative? Having played against a bunch of 899 I can assure you that landing even a single shell at such a distance is at best a lucky occurrence if you actually bother to dodge. You also only need to survive for as long as spotter plane is up for the Musashis, once it expires they will lack the range to actually target you to begin with at which point you can play out the match normally. That is why you manually turn at the beginning of the match and only start using auto pilot once you're on your desired course at full speed.
  12. 20-30 seconds shell travel time or more is typical. That is longer than the rudder shift on even the clumsiest T8 CV. Since when does anyone sane evaluate any ship on average values?
  13. Wanna know what is actually irrelevant? The lack of skill of the average playerbase. After all since such potential is attainable that makes any and all grievances with CV play a "git gud" issue, no? Or do we need to buff DDs now because the average player typically doesn't survive past the first quarter of the match in them?
  14. Not even most T10 BBs against T8 planes can do that. And when they can it is typically only against DBs which need the most time to loiter. Weird. Have yet to see any of them both ingame and outside of it. Any actually skilled players that is. Probably because skill of a player being attacked by aircraft mechanically plays little to no part in the interaction to begin with. Whatever potatoes think in the abyss of Dunning-Kruger is naturally irrelevant. It's barely enough to hit a plane down to yellow on a full squad, dealing a little over half a plane for DDs and not even half a plane worth of damage for any other class.

What is that pink thing in the sky?

On a more serious note, can't tell because of the resolution but it might be a parachute from a shot down plane kappa.

    Frustration, CV und Karma

Das soll heutzutage nicht mehr möglich sein? Dein Ernst? Was für lächerliche Lügen erzählst du mal wieder?

This is a pretty standard build: Leave 3rd slot empty if you're strapped for cash.

Joke and a half right there. So far every argument you brought was a fallacy.
  20. If your CV gets killed by 899 he probably wasn't a CV worth keeping around to begin with anyway, so who cares?

We understand your blatant lies and useless opinion pieces that run contrary to proven facts just fine. It's just you who refuses to accept that.

    Average calculations in wows-numbers

Account (aka global) PR differs from ship PR.

And now you're attempting to justify a hilariously unfair mechanic by misconstruing the entire game as unfair. Amazing.

Except with some basic situational awareness you can prevent yourself from taking damage from a BB firing at you that far away - and that is assuming he can even fire at you, aka has a spotter which puts you in a 1vs2 situation. Funny how you keep making comparisons that show how broken CVs are.

Yeah, not like we can't just go back a few pages and see that you have completely switched around your narrative. Any other fantasy stories or worthless opinion pieces you would like to tell?
