    Apart from great base stats they either have great synergy with something else (e.g. Nagato) or provide amazing firepower (e.g. Hood). Or are just straight up broken (e.g. best waifu Enterprise). Or have some other more situational utility like Illustrious, but excel at it. Though this https://pastebin.com/ZMBi8g6R is more descriptive if somewhat incomplete, but if you're playing the English version where no newer ships are available it becomes a perfect fit (obviously as it was written for it).

    Played a bit of CVs here at gamescom with people standing behind me watching and commenting on it. Wanna know what the saddest comment was? "You can use the number keys to select squads?!"

    Well darn, ranged combat exposes your most heavily armored, most HP ship that doesn't give a about - HE spam due to topkek armor - AP shells due to angling - aircraft thanks to AA powercreep - torps/flooding if you just WASD a bit - fires if you just manage DCP and repair well Also the grand majority of BBs sure are exposing themselves to reprisals at 18km+. There is a single class in the game that consistently punishes camping (if not by killing the campers then via killing everything that tries to play the objective and making the campers lose by default). It's also the least played and most hated class in the game. Go figure.

    Rework of CVs

    General bureaucracy and porting the basic game infrastructure to consoles which can easily take several months. No need to rework CVs when you'll have to do it again a year later. This way they save manpower and time.

    Nah. Skill gaps will always exist. Unless they make CVs completely braindead (*cough* GZ *cough*) the only thing that will happen is people shifting blame for default losses from CVs to DDs or cruisers.

    One and a half floors of an entire hall are dedicated to merch. T-shirts, collectibles, figurines, manga/comics, pretty much everything can be found there. Managed to successfully resist today. Only 5 more days to go. T_T
