It's pretty much a given that it will be, really. Considering the goals of the rework you need something to attract the most braindead potatoes in the game, you need to lessen any potential skill gaps and you need to make it easy enough to play on consoles. I'd be incredibly surprised if the CV rework doesn't turn out to be hilariously broken.

Except in the past WG has dismissed polls with binary options as inconclusive (as should anyone, really). If you're trying to reach them that way this won't do anything. It's funny tho how you lose on literally every front you try to fight in.

Except your poll suggests that CVs are actually in a pretty okay spot. Which I wouldn't particularly agree with. Aka your poll is worthless no matter how you look at it.

True, with CVs you only push one button and you instantly win. Such skill, much outplay. Yo @Saiyko, you hear that? That practically never happens! Also Dayum, I sure give a about planes even with practically all my mid-range AA destroyed thanks to Fuso HE spam. And no, I don't run full AA. Not even remotely. That's easy. Spotting every single DD is impossible unless you want no strike capability or air superiority. Cruisers that use their DFAA prematurely are misplaying and thus deserve to be punished. Use DFAA when planes are about 3km out, not when they've just entered your AA range. If even that is too difficult for you, I have nothing more to say.

Funny considering cruisers have to play that way because otherwise they get killed by the flood of BBabies that populates this game. How about you play a high tier cruiser yourself and find out how easy it is? Who says anything about torp tubes? You can just outgun them if you just play a bit smart. Or the enemy is stupid. Or playing a worthless DD line aka IJN torp DDs. Either one applies in 99% of all games.

The BB main complaining about the absence of cruisers he has helped bring about. That's rich. In almost every match I've played these past few months.

That's called punishing mistakes. Why should he outplay you when you've outplayed yourself? I just played a 6 min match. I was in a DD and killed 2 opposing ones, making the enemy team lose by default. I guess we should remove DDs then?

If it makes no difference then why waste time and manpower to create something meaningless?

Don't you get it yet? The entire point of PvP is to outplay and thus "bully" your opponent. If you can't take that, stop playing PvP games.

Too bad. Something you haven't seen surely doesn't exist. And during the short period of time when AA cruisers flooded the game I lost 40k average damage and fell to about 50-60% WR. Fact is the reason why CVs are so dominant is mostly no fault of their own. Also clearly the fact I played over 2k games in every other class as well doesn't mean anything. And I guess your radar cruiser not giving you radar against a smoke or low concealment ship isn't the same situation?

Considering the entire RTS gameplay is getting thrown out of the window removal of manual drop is pretty much a given? Just like auto drop, the UI, AA mechanics and literally everything else related.

I'll keep that in mind the next time I lose all my aircraft to an AA cruiser I couldn't see because his air concealment is lower than his AA range. Here's a simple game design fact: Your own personal enjoyment is only relevant when you're the guy using a mechanic. Interaction is what's fun, being interacted with is not. Thus this poll is meaningless. Every player on the enemy team exists to ruin your fun just as you exist to ruin theirs.

Well, I don't enjoy 5 radars on the enemy team when playing a DD either. I guess I should ask for a mod to instantly quit when there are radar ships queuing? It is in fact a matter of git gud. This is a PvP game, otherwise known as a competition. And in a competition someone always gets the short end of the stick. If you can't muster the competitive mindset of dealing with things regardless of personal enjoyment then you have no right to complain about anything.

I would just like to note that this method may not work all that well. You see, when I was at gamescom I had the opportunity to observe what my neighbouring screens were showing is in queue compared to mine. At one instance in my queue were 1 CV, 1 BB, 3 cruisers and 2 DDs. On my right it was no CVs, no BBs, 2 cruisers and 2 DDs. On my left it was 2 CVs (one of them probably being me), 1 BB, 2 cruisers and 1 DD. Generally speaking what was shown being in queue differed tremendously from screen to screen. Besides, chances are CVs will wait for over a minute to get into a match, unless you wish to wait at least two before queuing again you likely won't "outlast" him. Might as well accept it and git gud.

Ever tried the mod called "git gud"?

Your AA is more for self defense. AA range should only be taken on troll full AA builds. DFAA however is useful in every match to shoot down catapult planes quickly. Sacrificing the speed boost for that is more than worth it. And ofc if there's a CV around you can disrupt or even outright kill strikes without relying on your teammates.

Haven't had any issues, either.

@Riselotte Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Just imagine. Atlanta. Getting buffed. Clearly stats show that Atlanta is up. Needs massive buffs asap. And while you're at it, Clemson too is extremely up according to stats. Needs massive buffs as well.

They've stated in the past that they're toying with the idea of fighter-bombers, but how that'd play out in the new iteration remains a mystery. If no other planes can engage enemy aircraft other than fighters then the concept of fighter-bombers could be quite overpowered.

I'm extremely disappointed that they did not let her keep her 18" gun.
