No worries, my back is big enough to carry. ;) Though credit should be given to the players remaining alive at the end. Seriously, this is I believe the first match in which when I told the team the situation can still be won (we were behind for quite a while) if we don't suicide and greedily go for kills, they actually listened. DDs were willing to spot and drop smokes instead of rushing and suiciding, Monty kept himself at the ideal engagement distance without overcommitting and in general we were actually willing to take fights instead of running for the map border at the first sign of enemy contact. This is where the game really shines imo. The teamplay aspect is great if you just have people willing to play that way. It makes you want to play the game more. At least until you realize that that the chance of that happening again is practically zero. -

Considering BBs tend to bow camp in clusters this would present them an easy way to farm more income. They're all already stopping and/or reversing slowly anyway, this way they'll even get rewarded if their teammates die. Thus in the eyes of WG this idea is likely excellent and should be implemented asap. What do you mean other classes don't benefit? Who cares about those? -
So a BB holding a broadside angle doesn't present a huge potential threat to the enemy even if he's just camping there? Riiiiiight. What you're talking about are two entirely different things. Aircraft camping in the back can't threaten anyone as the flight times can easily exceed 5 minutes on some maps. That's not even harmless anymore, it's pathetic. Aircraft holding a spot on the other hand can threaten nearby ships, but so can ships in general. In fact surface ships are a much bigger threat thanks to their much higher staying power while a CV attack is a one and done deal for the next 2-4 minutes. Your vast understanding of the game is astounding, really.

Just as it is easy in any ship to avoid any fight and just sail to the map border like most BBs do. Doesn't mean it is effective.

Honestly it isn't the utter lack of skill of the average player that's frustrating. It's that WG straight up refuses to do anything to teach new players about mechanics that are crucial for both individual and team success. E.g. when I see a Bismarck constantly broadsiding and spam HE I'm going to rage about him ofc, but I also know that the player most likely doesn't know any better. Educating the playerbase about the fundamental mechanics of their game is the job of the developer. And to say that WG failed hard at it would be an understatement. -
Was thinking about testing the Midway module and how it affects gameplay. Trading a bit of speed for essentially T10 TBs and T12 DBs seems like a good deal on paper especially with totally balans AP bombs. Not actively grinding any LMs tho so that might still take a while. Heck, maybe I won't even get it until the rework happens.

No it is not. If we substitute strike wings with overall HP, which is precisely what aircraft reserves represent, losing an entire strike is equal to around 30% HP loss for most CVs.

Meh, I got her for topkek tankiness that lets you ignore everything but the heaviest of CV strikes. Then I realized that being immune to damage is kinda boring so I stopped playing after 3 or so games. -

More like "bam you dead" thanks to balans BB AP from the Giulio div mate. No one in their right mind would play ranked solo when you can play in a div with totally balans ships like Giulio and Kami.

Fify. CV rework was revealed on Sep. 3rd. No effects on population has been noted. Also most of the playerbase doesn't pay attention to news. Oh, and the last time CVs were popular this game itself was actually more popular as a whole. No matter how much you moan and whine, CVs have no influence on population. If anything one could correlate falling CV numbers to a far lower population, but that'd be as idiotic as prophesying falling player numbers thanks to CVs.

RNG = money and more playtime If you want a RN DD you either play a lot to get all containers possible or you spend money and pray to RNGesus. Either way it's a win-win for WG. So no, we won't get fewer RNG based events.

@159Hunter uses LOGIC! It had no effect... This is someone can't outduel a Cleve in his Moskva, so he immediately concluded from that that Cleve is op no matter how many arguments were presented to the contrary and that he's just bad. Anything he says is pretty much worthless at this point.

Tl;dr: We both camped bow on to each other for several minutes until one of us finally died. We both complimented each other on the nonexistent skill that needs. A CV would've been able to punish such a shoddy play. Yeah, I see nothing wrong with it.

The WoWs collab ships include: - Saint Louis (the French T9 one) - Roon - Neptune - Monarch - Ibuki - Izumo along with another ship that is still labeled as unknown. Just know that this is a serious endgame grind. Not only do you need hundreds of special items to upgrade these ships which you can only acquire through the Tech Academy, you need slog through missions that require you to earn millions of exp with certain nation specific classes to get them in the first place. If WG got an Euro every time someone has prophesied this they wouldn't need to make profit on any of their games anymore. Now for actual facts, here: https://stats.wotapi.ru/stats/wows/eu/total Population is stable. Not rising, not declining. Not the best situation per se (ideally you'd want your population to rise steadily) but the game is far from dying.
