    Didn't they say that this actually isn't a bug? That it is intended that a shell can penetrate multiple sections of a ship and thus deal damage more than once? I distinctively remember something along those lines.

    Heh, yeah. Then Iowa came along and changed everything. Ironically that was around the time when I started getting into KC, tho I wouldn't start playing until much later. The next major event for EN is likely going to be Opposite Colored (GZ, Tirpitz, Z46 among others). I would however be surprised if that still hits this year as many minor events are still in queue. Then again EN is moving along seriously fast with events, so don't count it out just yet. Generally speaking SoDak is the better choice (providing excellent backline firepower and AA) as Eldridge has more niche uses (namely making the vanguard situationally more tanky but providing little else). Unless you have serious survivability problems SoDak is the way to go. She also synergizes well with Washington, though that's more for PvP battles as your backline will rarely fall before your vanguard in PvE. Also Eldridge will get you arrested by the MP.

    It's not like the mods care about whether we share pictures or discuss the various related games in here, so while you are entitled to your opinion it is by no means a rule we have to follow. On that note, latest KC ranking rewards included a SK radar. For Christ's sake stop teasing Tanaka, just give me my Fletcher already.

    Minny and Cleve are both fine picks. The problem with Wichita is her fragility. If you can solve that via slapping toolkits/torp bulges/extinguishers all over her and upgrading those she's a good choice as well.

    Yeah, Z1 is pretty good for buffing Z-series DDs. You'd want another Z to go along to maximize the value of her skill tho. The problem with attempting to run a full Z vanguard is that you don't have Z46 yet (comes with Opposite Colored) and every other Z is rather lackluster. You could ofc just let one of the more self sufficient DDs tag along until you can finally get your hands on Z46. Ayanami or POI Yuudachi would be my pick if you haven't deployed them already. Minny has superseded Wichita as the best CA in ALEN. Still considered plenty strong for CN and pretty much all CAs that are better than her are behind the WoWs collab grind wall so she remains a top pick.

    The last point is rather redundant imo as your goal in any PvP game is literally to be a negative factor to the enemy team, meaning someone is inevitably going to be mad about reworked CVs regardless of balance.

    Kinda funny that Wichita has light armor whereas the Portlands get medium despite the former having far more armor irl. But yeah, I recommend using Portland. She's pretty good even when sortied without her sister.

    Apparently the concealment upgrade is getting removed from CVs, so if you play CVs it might be a good idea to have some TAS upgrades stocked up. (Though tbh I don't believe they're gonna go through with this change. Then again it IS WG so anything can happen.)

    Reworked CVs look like they're going to punish camping even harder than current CVs. You still have to wait until next year for them to arrive tho. Whether that's going to solve camping or simply incite a new wave of "OMG CVs OP" threads is also rather questionable.

    Well, the ships in front and in the back tend to get hit more often as they're leading or trailing behind when moving directly forwards or backwards respectively, thus protecting the ship in the middle. If you're having survivability problems you could try changing the battle formation from line ahead to double line, too. Line ahead increases FP and torp by 15% but reduces evasion by 10%, while double line increases evasion by 30% but reduces FP and torp by 5%. (Diamond increases AA by 20% with no penalties.)

    Me neither, but that would imply said BB has misplayed hard and is thus getting punished for it. Thankfully the average player is as intelligent as dirt. Actually nevermind, that's an insult to dirt.

    Same applies to HE. Most things that can be penetrated by HE can be penetrated by BB AP as well regardless of angle. Meanwhile BB AP does more damage and requires little aim, hence why it's the most noob friendly weapon and why every potato in this game must play BBs. You can angle against AP and it will do all to you. Cruiser and DD HE needs several minutes to spam down even just one BB in a game that only lasts for 20 minutes, to paint it as effective is hilarious at best. WASD will easily defeat any attempt to torp you. Whether a CV can strike you or not depends on your build and less about the inherent vulnerability of BBs. All of them, even the Yamato, can become no fly zones. BBs nowadays can survive in the most ridiculous crossfires that no other class would be able to deal with. If you believe BBs to be overly vulnerable, the problem is you.

    AP with special properties that makes it just as spammy and safe to use as HE, targeting the same areas and inflicting about the same or more damage. The only difference is the potential for DoT which is offset by the particularly high RoF and utility of said line. Yet somehow that requires more "skill" to use according to you? If there is one thing in this game that doesn't require ANY skill to use it's BB AP. Huge dispersion inevitably means that one of your shells is going to hit if you just aim in the general direction of the enemy while overmatch ensures that anything that is not a BB will take damage. There's a reason why potatoes gravitate towards this ship class and it has nothing to do with historical significance or anything along those lines as CVs would be the most popular class otherwise. HE and fire chance have already been nerfed to the ground, hence why all the potatoes have migrated from cruisers to BBs ages ago. And yes, an Eugen killing a Musashi without a scratch is fair if the Musashi is that bad.

    The set is a whopping 2 cents more expensive in the WG store than in the Cobi store! Outrageous! On a more serious note, do you guys have any input on what model Cobi works on next and if so can we make requests or a poll on it? :) Personally I'd love to buy Helena and/or Enterprise. I imagine Atlanta to be a pretty fun ship to build too.
