Equip long range secondaries on your BBs/BCs and maintain a forward position with your vanguard so you can see them coming and shoot them before they start their run. And if all else fails, ramming them with your vanguard is a valid strategy if you have the HP to spare. -

Since wows-numbers doesn't know whether you've purchased a new ship it displays a ship as new when you play your first battle with it. E.g. I got a Tirpitz from gamescom a few months ago, but wows-numbers doesn't display it because I haven't played a battle with it yet. -

Performance in cyclone drops dramatically. I was fluctuating anywhere from 27 down to 10 fps on a Core i7 and a GTX 970. This wasn't the case in the first iteration. That did not prevent me from utterly demolishing a Monty. With T7 aircraft. Hilarious, really. -

You can hear the activation of consumables from other ships. Tbh despite being a bug I kinda like it? At least you know when your teammates are using them. Still, there are more elegant solutions out there. -

I feel like AA is still too weak tbh. Been hammering Worcesters with T7 planes without issue nor too many losses. I lost only 31 planes total in my Lexington despite attacking and killing stuff for the entire 20 min duration of the match, including several player controlled top tier AA ships. Completely unthinkable with RTS CVs. Might just be me tho considering some of the other responses here. T8 fighters seem pretty useless. Been flying through fighter zones without casualties. Likewise I've constantly placed fighters over friendly ships under attack and shot down a grand total of 3 planes. It's very nice that you can see them on the minimap now tho. CVs are still far too fast in the action. On a map like Hotspot an attack can literally occur within the first 30 seconds of a match, easily inflicting hilarious damage to DDs that sail towards caps. If you don't want to get struck, you'll probably have to reverse at the start for more AA cover. I again recommend my proposal to give CVs an initial service time of at least 15 seconds. -

So... this actually exists, huh? I'm pretty sure I could make it past Kawakaze. Same can't be said about Mutsu. Using your Bulins and dupe ships to LB some of your non-max LB ships should free up plenty of dock space. Also your Indianapolis is already max LB so you can scrap your dupe for medals. Alternatively you could 3-star some hardmode maps for diamonds if you've already cleared the main rewards for Fallen Wings or aren't mired in fuel shortages. And quite honestly with all the upcoming content I'd even recommend dropping a bit of cash for dockyard extensions. Generally speaking all collections are worth completing, even the furniture ones. Having a high happiness score seriously speeds up your dorm passive exp gain. Meanwhile in KC: Winter Event is confirmed for late December. Perfect use of the holidays I guess. -

Potatoes take note. THIS is how you play against CVs. Though imo 3.5km for DFAA activation distance is a bit too far. 2.5km to 3km will practically guarantee that you wipe out the entire strike. Also please cancel DFAA once you've killed all planes via turning your AA off and on again. "CVs are 1v1" lol

While I'm certainly happy for anyone who benefits from this change, why burden Customer Support with it? Why not just allow you to rebuy whatever premium ship you've previously owned ingame? I realize that with the CV and radar reworks along with whatever other changes WG is planning that they may have no capacity left to spare for the moment, but it might be something to consider for the future. -

I don't see how considering Cleve base AA is only 4 points behind Seattle base AA, not to mention Cleve doesn't suffer nearly the same vulnerability to AP bombs. Ofc when you only factor in long and mid range AA Seattle is 58 points ahead. That's however easily rectified by turning some of her twin Bofors mounts into quads. There is nothing to worry about when it comes to AA and Cleves. Plenty of room for easy improvement. -

How about a Cleve? It has always baffled me how the most numerous CL class in the world doesn't have a single sister ingame yet. To bump her up to T9 just give her 4k more HP, heal and put a -50% 10s reload booster in the radar slot. Can't be worse than Seattle. -

The truly funny thing is after being under fire for almost the entire match I still had 1/3rd HP left with 2 heals available that would've pushed me to well over half. BB survivability truly is far too low these days. -

What a weird game this was. Enemy flank I was on LITERALLY only shot at me at every opportunity even when hauled my aft out of there, then half of them proceeded to chase me into my spawn. All the while my teammates get shots in on their exposed flank. Heck I've had an Alsace shoot at me from across the map when there were half a dozen teammates between us. Has everyone bought into the myth that Yamato has weak armor or sth? -

If they want to make the Gearing more viable compared to the YY, why not just, you know, buff the Gearing? Half a second faster gun reload, 10 seconds off the 16km torps, slightly improved ruddershift and/or turning circle, lower the hull deeper into the water, etc. etc. etc. There are so many possibilities to make the Gearing stack up better to the YY without breaking it. -
Well, there is your problem. The game exclusively rewards damage and practically nothing else. Cap exp was heavily nerfed years ago, spotting and tanking gives practically no exp no matter how much you stack it, same with denying caps and you need 40 aircraft kills to rival a 100% HP kill. Thus if you want exp and credits, you have to be a selfish damage farmer that doesn't give a about team- or objective-based play. Do note that exp is rewarded by percentage of HP damage done. 10k damage on a T10 DD, being ~50% of their HP, will give you far more income than 10k damage done to a T10 BB, being ~10% of their HP. A kill gives you income equivalent to 15% HP damage dealt. Thus targeting destroyers is the most efficient way to earn exp and credits, provided that you can hit and/or kill them.
