Another Hybrid but its much much worse
El2aZeR replied to totally_potato's topic in General Discussion
In the same vein you don't play CVs at a high level. Far from it even. What makes you think you can be considered an authority on the subject? -
aa Your investment into AA? Captian skill points, Ship upgrades, Consumbles

What does that make you then given that you proclaim yourself to be an expert based on... nothing? And pretty much everything you've written is just a straight up lie as usual.- 119 replies

Just too bad that you left remaining team composition, caps and point disparity in that screenshot, making it plainly obvious that you're about to lose. Once again nice try attempting to cover up your throw though.
-
A flank collapsing is telegraphed way in advance of it actually happening. If you make the severe mistake of lingering around until when it actually happens, you deserve to be punished for it. Unless you get cornered, at which point the match is most likely decided anyway, you can always retreat in time. No exceptions.
-
And? What does that have to do with the statement about there being plenty of CVs other than Enterprise that deal with DDs extremely well? Which I guess is why my WR has been steadily climbing since those nerfs? Those nerfs have had minuscule to no impact. Are you just projecting here? Fighters aren't needed, though I suppose predicting the rather obvious course of the enemy DD and preemptively launching the attack is not a concept you have yet grasped. If a DD gets that close to you then you're colossally misplaying and deserve to be punished for it.
-
Imagine needing to rely on teammates to kill something that is pursuing your CV. And before you say more nonsense, there are plenty of CVs that deal extremely well with DDs other than Enterprise.
-
Given the context of you believing I may have never met one in battle, yes. To put it into perspective, EU DDs are older than: - RU cruiser split - the last submarine test on live - rework of unique upgrades - German CVs - US BB split - FDR being added among other things.
-
Btw, Halland was introduced early 2020, meaning it has been in the game for well over a year. Any other lies you want to sell to us?
-
So to dodge you need something fantastical that doesn't exist? Good to know.
-
Do tell how. Weirdly enough I've never met a player who is capable of doing so at any skill level.
-
You're joking, right?
-
It is not possible to dodge. It is only possible for a CV to miss. There is a pretty big difference.
-
Would like to know which upgrades and skills I'm supposedly missing. Swirzki only kicks in once you kill 20 aircraft - at which point you've most likely already lost several AA mounts and therefore is a completely moot point. You: LOL THIS PLAYER DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING I'M RIGHT AND HE IS WRONG! Also you: LOOK THIS PLAYER DOESN'T LIKE FDR TELLS YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW!
-
Except what I and every other skilled CV player demonstrate is that it isn't AA that is effective, it is just that the majority of CV players are incompetent. There is quite a bit of difference especially when it comes to a discussion about balance. So regardless of whether we are "anomalies" or not, it literally doesn't matter.
-
Where do you see 750 dps? And I never said it is low. It is however still inadequate like all AA in the game. Flak is irrelevant as it can always be evaded. Not to mention that with a Halland having AA shut off to begin with to not be detected immediately flak plays no factor in such an engagement. I have played well over 6k matches in reworked CVs. In that time, do you really believe I've never met a full AA Halland?
-
That literally makes no sense whatsoever. Average stats are worthless in evaluating the potential power of a class. Ah, you're one of those. Unfortunately for you, getting a bad solo WR purely by chance has been proven to be mathematically impossible, thus solo WR is what is representative. https://forum.worldofwarships.eu/topic/76406-win-rate-and-luck/ Thus if you have a terrible WR over a large enough sample size, that's purely on you. Yes. In fact, let me prove it to you mathematically: Halland base AA DPS: 490 Halland partial AA build DPS: 539 Halland full AA build DPS: 620 So at best you'll gain 130 DPS which is... less than what a Shima puts out. Completely unnoticeable in an actual match. I run MMM, I know what I'm attacking. Not that it matters much given that enemy player skill matters little in CV - surface ship interaction. Indeed. Unfortunately for you the effects of an AA build can be mathematically calculated as above and therefore can be objectively evaluated as worthless or useful. And that means your opinion of AA builds being useful is simply wrong.
-
AA build or not makes a minuscule, unnoticeable difference so moot point. Don't need one. I kill them on a regular basis in CVs. You can plainly see whether a ship uses DFAA or even sector.
-
Except the difference is CVs overachieve much more compared to all other classes, outclassing them by a ridiculous 5-10% solo WR at the highest level. As such your comparison ironically just shows that CVs are overpowered. Your analogy of athletes and public transportation is beyond fallacious. Public transportation is not a game. The rules by which athletes play by in their given sport however are established according to the highest playing standard. Yes, because this is a game, not irl warfare. You've essentially just admitted that CVs are supposed to be unfairly overpowered, which ofc in a game is a big nono and will inevitably lead to more than justified complaints.
-
Imagine thinking that you need to see the enemy on the minimap to know their position.
-
No, as it violates basic PvP game design principles. Besides, your laughable narrative contradicts itself as already outlined by others.
-
Bad CV players are the norm. You are not a good DD player. Even bad CV players can easily ruin your day due to for example spotting. Because CVs affect skilled players the most, while bad players tend to be less affected due to various reasons. Puts your opinion into perspective, doesn't it?
-
You can still check his legacy stats on certain sites. They're fairly recent too. They do not paint a pretty picture.
-
That usually makes it easier as you can just cycle strikes to bypass the 25s attack cooldown, thus make attacks in faster succession. You act like this scenario is unfamiliar and cannot be exploited. Then again you probably actually don't know.
-
Been there, done that. You make it sound like it is difficult when in reality it is just mindblowingly boring. Then again for you it probably is actually difficult.
