I had it a couple of times. It's extremely rare but every time it happens it's beyond frustrating. However no one knows whether it is actually some bug in the game itself or a different issue entirely. Something like this can be caused by literally everything. Drivers, background programs, hardware used, and ofc error in the game code, etc. are all possible culprits. Fixing issues with data this vague is extremely difficult. I'd give WG the benefit of the doubt here. You've never had an infinite loading screen bug? You lucky son of a . :D -
To add to that: On the other hand if you misjudge your timing and the planes lock in before you activate DFAA you're guaranteed to die as it is pretty much impossible for the planes to miss if a manual drop is executed perfectly. So when in doubt it is better to activate DFAA too early rather than too late.

Am I the only person who doesn't use Priority Target?

I run Priority Target on almost every ship but that's more because I tend to have a single point left over once I get all the skills I need/desire. Generally speaking it's not a skill you necessarily need if you have the necessary situational awareness, but nice to have nonetheless. -

Which matters to the stat "average damage" how exactly? We're not talking about average kills, thus what you're blabbering about is completely meaningless. Thus my point still stands. Your average damage isn't high enough to kill even a single high tier BB let alone multiple, thus your teammates have to pick up your slack. Which you apparently perceive as "kill stealing" when they have to carry your incompetent aft. It would appear that the only one who needs some "basic logical thinking" here is you.

Amagi was an Unryuu-class CV commissioned in mid-late 1944 that never flew aircraft from her decks in combat. Nagato was the only IJN BB to survive the war afloat. The video shows the amount of ships commissioned during the war. That's 2 Yamato-class BBs. Yes, that's it.

Being pink is a warning, not a punishment. Unless such crashes occur frequently (and if they do it's your own fault for not fixing your issues before queuing for another match) you can safely ignore it. -
She only takes citadels on a certain area and it is rare that she takes more than 40k damage. I classified highly vulnerable ships as those being straight up oneshot from full HP or close to it, which has never happened to me with the FdG. Made some changes: - Moved Roma from partial to highly vulnerable. - Added WeeVee 1941 to high vulnerability list. Kinda funny considering Colorado doesn't take any citadels from USN AP bombs. - Added Graf Zeppelin to partial vulnerability list. I've recently citadel'd one with USN AP bombs. Oh, the irony.

It's pretty much impossible to miss with USN DBs unlike GZ ones. Ofc my point was that WeeVee regularly takes AP bomb citadel hits like Gneis/Scharn, Bismarck, etc.

And what, pray tell, would be the difference to current random MM? If you keep your skill based MM factor small then it will inevitably allow players into matches they have no place in, creating the same situations you are currently complaining about. That is a waste of time and manpower. On the other hand if you enlarge it then it will inevitably kill a large part of the playerbase. The WoWs EU server has at the best of times 30k active players with vastly different distributions in both skill, class and sub-class. This will inevitably lead to stupidly long queue times for more skilled players which is likely to make them quit as few will be willing to wait ~30 minutes just to play a game. The player population is already stable, the influx of new players over the last 2 YEARS has been negligible. The last thing a dev wants in this situation is to put it into decline. It is actually. If it is news to you, there is something called a participation award in this game, meaning that if you just sail around a bit and do nothing else you can get up to ~500 base exp per match. That you managed to get less than that is incredibly impressive in a sad way. Whether you actually want to do something about that is up to you, however from a purely objective point of view these matches are completely fair. Balance is to achieve roughly equal chances for both teams to win outside of the human factor, because the human factor is what is supposed to decide who wins or loses.

Honestly I don't see why meeting a T10 CV in a T8 has any impact in the rework considering you share no interaction whatsoever. And personally I can already break 100k average damage in the Langley with just escalating from there (150k in the Ranger all the way up to ~250k in the Midway). I usually walk off with at least 6 kills, too. Quite frankly this is a current CV player's wet dream and it has to be because dealing damage is the only function of a reworked CV. If you take that away (by e.g. making AA actually not worthless) then CVs have no reason to exist. The rework is fundamentally broken, nothing WG does will change that. I can only hope that they scrap the concept entirely and start anew.
