Except winrate is a perfectly fine representation of your ability provided you have a sufficient sample of matches. So yeah, if you have a bad WR after thousands of games, it's not the team that's consistently dragging you down. It's you that's consistently dragging your team down. Also to get an extremely good WR just by pure luck involves ridiculous odds. You'd be much, MUCH better off trying to win the lottery jackpot than getting a good WR if that were the case.

I can answer that. It's very simple. Unlike in real life, digital "walls" can have no thickness, aka it can be completely 2D. I imagine the border is simply a textured plane placed there which will thus inevitably disappear if you see it from the side. To demonstrate this, here is a simple example: This is not some feature implemented by WG. It's simply the way it is. To condemn this is like condemning that the Earth is round or orbits around the sun.

Well, skilled CV players told WG that AP bombs are a bad idea. And since WG always does the exact opposite of what skilled CV players want, they decided that AP bombs were perfectly balanced and ready for implementation. No joke btw, in some Q&A awhile back they stated that the performance of AP bombs is perfectly fine in the eyes of the devs.

I mean, you're not gonna have fun in IJN torp DDs regardless. Even in a gunboat though a mass of DDs isn't pleasant to deal with. You only have so much HP you can trade off, you'd need extremely favorable engagements (or just a lot of luck) to kill more than 3 without getting killed yourself. Although to be fair many DDs don't seem to know what guns or WASD are so it's not exactly a rare occurence.

Honestly no idea how long it will take them to learn how to aim, but the average player already struggles to understand the mythical and ancient art of WASD. Inevitably that means we're gonna have a plethora of players that just fly in a straight line directly into all the murderous flak the game is throwing at them. I mean, we've had such complaints in the feedback thread already about how AA is "way to strong" and even DDs can murder the entire squad. But yeah, technically speaking there isn't much to master with reworked CVs for those that aren't completely braindead. I have to admit it's still entertaining to play though.

I mean, I haven't seen many skilled CV players in testing either. Most of the players in testing struggled to bring a single drop on target during the entire match which to me is mind boggling since I felt like I've mastered reworked CV play after only 2-3 matches. However I can also provide an excellent example of what happens when there are only competent CVs in the match. What does this mean? Very simple, the skill gap remains massive. I'd even go as far as saying that the skill gap has increased since the average player cannot fall back on auto drop anymore. Will this change once reworked CVs hit the live server? Considering the learning ability of the average player, I highly doubt it.

See @Xevious_Red's post above for an excellent explanation. But I wouldn't bother with it. It only increases the amount of flak bursts on one side while decreasing it on the other. Any CV that can WASD will still be able to dodge it regardless since the AA mechanics don't change. Replaced with constant DB and rocket harassment which will kill more DDs at a much faster rate than current CVs ever can. Make no mistake, reworked CVs are far better DD killers than current CVs will ever be.

Ironically more DDs also means less room for DDs as WG has seen fit to make DDs the primary DD counters (aside from CVs ofc). So nowadays DDs actually always suffer no matter what adjustments are made to the meta. Personally I'd much rather deal with more cruisers than more DDs in a DD though. And your point is? If killing aircraft is what is required of you, your own enjoyment of it doesn't matter.

A rather interesting statement from someone who claimed that BBs are helpless even against a single cruiser, that BB overpopulation is fine and that BBs are basically nothing more than an exp pinata for torps/HE/aircraft among other things. Yeah, it's very hard to see which class you consider weak. /s First of all, yes they are. Second, if you wanna begrudge others for being not braindead then that's a moot point. If you can't find enjoyment from helping your team win and actually winning then why are you playing this team game? Also one of these days you will realize that your own personal enjoyment is actually irrelevant in any PvP game as it is your direct goal to ruin the fun of others. You not having fun inevitably means someone else is having fun. Then why are you not playing WT instead?

Torpedo bulge/outer plating penetrations deal no damage as well. The French have spaced armor, so all your shells did was penetrate the outer hull (and thus got displayed as penetrations) but didn't go through the main belt armor, resulting in no damage.

What, you mean the dozens of whine threads about BBs being too weak in which you pitched in with "historically BBs should murder everything"? Is that supposed to help your narrative? I was only helping to remind you since you are apparently incapable of remembering that (again, you may want to recheck that "certification"). We were discussing gameplay and balance, not history. As such you were either spouting trivia and thus completely irrelevant nonsense or you wanted BBs to be buffed. There are plenty of whine threads about bad CVs being crushed by good CVs and deciding the match with that, yet apparently bad CVs do not exist. So what is it now? Also if you position yourself well you can shut down even the best of CV players, but I guess that's too difficult and complex for the likes of you.

For BBs, these are pulled from the LWM PEF review. As for cruisers, I don't think anything but Dallas has decent AA? Haven't played any T6 cruisers in quite some time.
