    Funny how you want ships to stick together yet in the other topic you complain about the very mechanic that forces you to do exactly that as completely untenable and want it to be removed.

    No it isn't. Personal skill is missing from your scoreboard placement, not your winrate. Just because you can consistently get a high scoreboard placement doesn't mean you are good at the game. In fact coupled with a low winrate it means you are one of the worst kinds of player in this game. The ed damage farmer who actively tries to sabotage his own team, intentional or not.

    Here is an interesting question: With over 7k games played, what are YOU still doing in low tier? Doesn't it make you a hypocrite when complaining about other people clubbing seals when you are attempting to do the exact same thing?

    Which again is completely irrelevant as you get high scoreboard placements by farming damage, not playing for the win. So if you consistently find yourself losing with a high scoreboard placement, you are nothing but a worthless damage farmer that contributes absolutely nothing to victory. As such you are a huge liability and should not be surprised by a low winrate when checking your stats. The scoreboard is the last thing anyone should check when wanting to know about their performance. It's an almost completely worthless measurement. As for ranked, because it was a requested feature. And it has made ranked a lot worse as now everyone is content farming damage once they start losing instead of trying to turn the match around. It's easily one of the most toxic changes this game has ever experienced.
  7. Christ, I got Red Ts on my first 5 runs on the E1 phase 2 boss, thus failing to kill her every single time. I can already feel this is going to be a very salty event. this, full court press it is. There is no kill like overkill. *reaches for support shelling* EDIT: And that's E1 hard cleared.
  8. Oh boy. Still, considering the rewards it may be worth it to grind through on hard. Mark 37 GFCS and a 5" gun + Mark 37 sounds very juicy.

    They are forced to make them work regardless thanks to consoles. You are correct in assuming current CVs will die no matter what we do, we're just saying that WG never put in any real effort to fix the current iteration. Think about this, roughly half a year before we first heard about that the rework would give us direct plane control etc. WG actually deemed CVs "fixed" enough to release new premium CVs. Personally I guess that WG wasn't happy with the sale numbers of the newly released premiums, thus decided to throw CV play completely on its head to rake in more money while the console version gave them the perfect excuse to do so. The speed got nerfed. No worries about that. Aircraft remain a lot faster than in the first test though.
  13. This is likely one of the changes that sounds worse than it actually is, even if it is for all the wrong reasons. Think about it: - CVs don't really interact with each other anymore, the little interaction that they have is completely worthless and can even be considered actively discouraged - CVs have been consolidated into fewer tiers and normal MM rules still apply = CVs will likely be found mirrored in the majority of matches (or guaranteed to be mirrored in T10 like all T10 ships) - A massive increase in skill gap means that having your own CV, or even multiple CVs, will not make any difference against a skilled CV unless you have a CV player of roughly equal/superior skill (just like currently) Whether you do have your own CV or less/more CVs than the enemy team is thus mostly irrelevant. You're playing the skill lottery, not the numbers game. Personally I'd just keep the current restrictions to at least make spotting worse than it currently is, but then again I'm a skilled CV player so WG will never listen to me period.

    Boy, you have no idea. I wouldn't. AA skills do nothing about the fundamental issue of AA, namely that it can be dodged with some basic application of WASD. Then again there will likely be a plethora of potatoes who can't WASD flying around just like how the majority of surface ship players can't WASD, so it may pay off.
  15. Which can have a lot explanations beyond just "MM is ing with me". Just a few examples: - you got lucky at the beginning and your WR normalized around your initial value - the average player is improving at the same rate as you are - the average player is getting better / you are getting worse PR is a worthless statistic because it primarily builds on average damage. The more damage you farm, the better your PR will be. Farming damage obviously isn't an indicator of skill though. Average XP likewise is worthless because not only is it once again a measure of damage farming rather than skill, every ship also has its own individual XP modifier with premium ships earning far more than regular ships (even without camo). Also higher tier ships earn more XP than lower tier ships, that means your average XP is bound to rise when you advance in tiers and/or buy premium ships unless ofc you fail miserably.

    Considering I've had to be on your team twice recently I don't believe I have a lot to fear as you were a ludicrous liability in every way. An afk player would've been more useful than you, at least afks don't actively try to sabotage their own team.
  19. Here is where I am at. Thank RNGesus I spent the last few months leveling DDs, otherwise I wouldn't be fielding half as many combat ready ones as I currently do. I usually go hard on the first few maps then jump down to medium/easy/casual later on.

    Very true. I'm just pointing out that this isn't as big of a weakness as it may seem at first. (Although really, it was never going to be a substantial weakness anyway considering the scarcity of high tier CVs.)

    Which if I remember correctly (160 seconds cd?) will rarely ever matter unless you're very close to the enemy CV or faced against a GZ which services super fast. A "normal" CV usually needs around 3 minutes to be in position for another attack, cutting it extremely close but your DFAA should be up again by the time aircraft return. (That's assuming you cancel DFAA once aircraft have left. If you just let it run then it's obviously gonna be up way too late.) Ofc a Midway could just dive on you with TBs, force DFAA then attack with totally balans AP DBs once it has run out but that's not exactly a fate unique to the Stalingrad.

    That is the most hilarious lie I've ever seen you pull, especially considering you go out of your way attempting to throw matches. Also didn't you say a few pages ago that your overall performance matters, not just recent stats? Regardless, the joke is on you. 40% is your recent WR.
