Fara thinks the rework is fundamentally bad. Regardless of what fun he has, he doesn't want it to happen. He has however resigned himself that the rework is going to happen no matter what he does or what recommendations he gives. He also gives some profound insight to how WG operates, namely that if your opinion doesn't suit their vision of the game they will discard it outright no matter how logical or good for the game it is. You are still spouting bull as always.

It's just too bad that the netcode was full of . "Game has detected a mismatch." is easily among the most rage inducing errors I've ever encountered.

Which was a contradiction in itself considering they also stated that they wanted to make gameplay easier so that the average player can find success. Most of the goals WG stated were utter bollocks to appeal to CV whiners (aka the average player) without any real thought given to them. Don't be fooled though. Reworked CVs are more powerful than current CVs will ever be.

And fact is WG is deliberately misinterpreting their poll to present that their rework concept is received in an overwhelmingly positive light. Aka they're spouting bull - and in extension, you're spouting bull. I realize now where you're coming from. Really, I do. In software development you basically just pick a goal and just force your way through until you reach it. That is however NOT how game design works. It isn't even remotely close to how game design works.

Great! Now that we have asserted your inexperience in the field, do you really need to spout anything else? Applications aren't games. Software development is not game design. To even compare them is stupid beyond belief. That's like saying American football is the same as association football. This has nothing to do with the code either. Unsure really why you bring this up. Coding is not design. Which again have literally nothing to do with balance. And even then, to compare reworked CV play with surface ship play is still ed as . Just because they now share a basic control scheme doesn't mean they're not fundamentally different. There are extremely few skills that transfer over when trying out CVs as a surface player and most of them apply to current RTS CVs as well. -

And when will you understand that it is the fundamental concept that is the problem? Currently a DD can operate up to 10 km away from a nearby allied AA cruiser (depending on AA range of said cruiser ofc) and still have sufficient time to be well within AA coverage if he sees aircraft on the horizon heading for him. Long range AA on said cruisers is also very powerful and as such a sure deterrent. If losses caused are not enough, DFAA is always an option to at least spoil targeting. DDs also have a window of up to 4 minutes (depending on the tier, distance and nation of the enemy CV) to operate independently without worrying about getting picked off after a CV has expended their strike. There will be none of that with reworked CVs. Long range AA is practically useless in potency and does not serve any deterring role, meaning a DD has to operate much, MUCH closer to allied vessels if they wish to be "safe" from air strikes (even if they really aren't considering how useless AA is regardless of any future buffs unless WG wishes to entirely compromise their CV rework concept) and planes return to their hunting grounds easily within 30 seconds even if the CV decides to camp at the very corner of the map. An absolute horse statement which, as someone who has actually studied game design in college, makes me want to jump out of the ing window. If your inherent design is broken it can never be balanced. E.g. giving a ship radar and smoke will always be broken no matter how you try to "balance" it. Either the ship will end up stupidly weak or stupidly strong. To balance this would be to take away either consumable, but that would destroy your concept of having a ship with both radar and smoke. Ah, yes. Please, go on and explain how the rework is making CVs "more even" with the other classes. -

DDs become completely useless in the face of reworked CVs as reworked CVs are even better at flushing out and killing DDs than current CVs. So yeah, you should probably hold off on your plans. -
Actually the option was called "I like some parts but disliked others." I picked that. You wanna know what I wrote down under things I liked? The visuals. Yes, that's it. I wonder how many other people did the same, because objectively speaking it is rather difficult to say that literally everything about the rework is bad. E.g. unless you're some super graphics enthusiast (at which point you will probably never play this game anyway) the majority of players are at least going to like the visuals. So even if you just like one thing about the rework but abhor everything else, that option is still the objectively correct one to take. And now everyone who did this is being thrown in with people who just liked the rework. Go figure.

They won't. Their aircraft will just die over and over again to even the most laughable of AA because they can't WASD. So in reality the rework actually increases the skill gap. Probably a good thing to note that I haven't lost a single PTS game with the Midway yet? -

Move the economy away from pure damage farming and reward team based actions instead. That means those that do not play for the team literally become incapable of doing so above a certain tier as they become bankrupt. Not that WG will ever do something like this ofc. Nah, it's that the Pensa in the screenshot is still T7, which means that the screenshot/replay is at least over half a year old.

I suppose what can be seen objectively as camping won't be seen as such by one of those in question.

US. IJN are borderline useless in comparison. I recommend refunding them and waiting for RN CVs instead which according to Darth are even more broken than the US ones as they have even powerful rockets and bombs.

As a puny escort for actual boss Habakkuk she'd be okay I guess. On a more serious note, Habakkuk has been in what appears to be a "game ready" state for almost 3 years now. CVs have enough health pool to survive any tk attempt before the offending player turns pink and sinks themselves. I've been the target of many people like you, yet haven't been killed by such a single time. Not to mention reworked CVs have received hilarious survivability buffs. So yeah, you won't sink a single allied CV before you get banned. Still worth it? -
No, because BBs are the least influential class in this game barring some "special" ones.

Cyclone/thunderstorms apparently have no effects on aircraft anymore. Or at least none that I took notice of. Might be unrealistic but it's actually one of the few changes that I like.

If he's smart he will realize that he can chew those up without DFAA by virtue of them being T8. But that would require him to be smart. - place own fighter - fly one attack - abandon squad - come back 30 seconds later to find the skies clear CV fighter consumable only serves as self protection and griefing the unskilled. Just a few rocket salvos will strip any ship of a substantial amount of AA. As such it doesn't matter how many ships are around you, I can alwas create a situation in which I can strike without fear. -

Full AA DM will wipe out entire strikes even without DFAA. The DMs you see getting killed by AP bombs are those that either got their DFAA baited (which is a horrendous misplay) or never used it in the first place. -
Implying most BBs even go remotely near a cap lol.

Asashio is designed to farm damage on BBs. There are few things more useless to your team than farming damage on BBs. Thus there are far better choices if you wish to actually influence the match.
