    Imo AA in smoke should incur a minor hit probability penalty (no bigger than 10% should be fine), but other than that no adjustments are necessary. As for the topic... Well, I have no words, really.

    Another recommendation for this one right here. It's an excellent mouse. The original version is fairly cheap nowadays too. Only thing the new updated Hero one does different is an even better sensor (you're unlikely to feel the difference, the original one is already excellent) and some very minor improvements.

    It doesn't. When talking about CVs us CV mains have the bad habit to only mean the viable CVs. Should probably clarify that. E.g. Ranger back in the RTS iteration was never included when talking about how good CVs are at killing DDs either.

    Been there for a while now. For me ping isn't too bad if I don't play during peak hours. About 100-150ms with occasional lagspikes. And even during low population hours it quite frankly seems about the same as peak population in EU. You get into matches very quick. (Although I suspect most of the players still online then are actual bots due to their... highly unique behavior.) Also I have yet to see the supposed ludicrous p2w on the server. There are a few more options to buy stuff in the premium store (stuff such as existing upgrades, camos, signals, decorative flags, etc. Literally nothing is new, everything has the same values as on every other server) but nothing out of the ordinary. You could even say that the premium store there is superior because you can actually buy stuff you want without having a giant bundle attached to it. And things are cheaper. Way cheaper. I got my Enterprise for the equivalent of ~20€. So all in all I actually regard the current CN version as the superior game even with a lot of content missing.

  10. Flak always gives you the same time to react regardless of your speed. That means you need to go into AA fast, then slow down. Then repeat that at the set intervals flak spawns in while using A and D to misdirect flak into shooting where you do not want to go.     MIght I know your graphics settings? Because while I've never had this issue on my main PC, where I run everything on high, I do actually experience this on my laptop where everything is set to low. What I found is that the first few flak bursts practically never get rendered for ~2 seconds (which is laughable considering flak is active for 3 seconds), thus it stays invisible to you until either the very last moment or long after you've passed the wall and taken damage. I think I've solved this by setting draw distance to far but that basically makes the game unplayable on my laptop.
  13. First of all, switch to the USN line. IJN is pretty meh right now at best. (Don't sell the IJN CVs tho. You never know what WG does next.) Then learn how to use DBs. These are going to be your primary damage dealers against pretty much everything but they're especially effective against DDs at T8+. After that it's the usual stuff of going after exposed DDs first and foremost while avoiding no fly zones like the plague unless you're sure you can take them out (if e.g. they're sitting behind an island you can abuse) or you're otherwise forced to attack them. Gamble the DoT system as hard as you can against BBs to give you massive damage totals. Learn how to use torps but don't rely on them too much. RF nerf hit their utility against DDs hard so you may want to use TiTs from T8+ onward to have another source of fire damage against BBs and cruisers while reserving your DBs for use against DDs. And finally, learn how to dodge flak. Instead of avoiding them after they spawn however you should redirect them towards where you don't actually wanna go. Flak always spawns in the direction you're flying at set intervals, that means if you preemptively use WASD flak practically always misses.

Yes, however you need practically the same amount of knowledge of the previous iteration (you only need to discard the control scheme and fighter play, everything else still applies) in addition to knowledge on how to perform in reworked CVs specifically. Aka CVs have actually become more difficult to play and master with the rework. If you can pull that off though then reworked CVs have actually higher game influence potential than their predecessors at least in high tiers.

    I've had no issues killing DDs regardless of skill level tbh. There are ofc the very few that actually stick with their cruisers but usually those cruisers tend to be not very cooperative in where a DD wants to go so that's my job pretty much done regardless. gets real when said cruisers are actually in cahoots with their DDs, but that has happened to me exactly once so far. And I still won that match thanks to some heroics my team pulled. Then again there are very... special people around as well. Just recently hit a Haru with a single TiT for 1,7k damage. Was a throwaway strike since RFs aren't that useful anymore nowadays. "Not a big deal," I thought, "this is all just to soften him up for the DBs". I was rather surprised to see "OMG GET CANCER CV" in chat followed by him immediately ragequitting. I you not, he ragequit over that single rocket hit. Don't wanna sound unappreciative of the free kill on my DB follow up but, I mean, really?

    Doesn't seem like WG believes that considering all the recent... changes. On a more serious note, since I have the opportunity to play on the CN server where RTS CVs still exist I've made some rough comparisons on how fast the two different iterations can wipe all DDs off of the map. At high tiers reworked CVs become substantially faster at it assuming same tier targets.

    I much prefer it when BBs shoot HE actually. Much more effective against AA mounts and gives me opportunities to exploit DCP usage.

    It's more like WG ed up the rework so much that even fewer people can unlock the full potential of CVs, thus increasing the skill gap even further. Trust me when I say that DDs have no place in a match with a truly skilled CV. On the bright side that's like 5-10 guys nowadays unlike the ~100 or so in the RTS iteration. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Because quite frankly WoWs is a monopoly. If you want to play something with this specific scenario and type of gameplay you have nowhere else to go. You can bet your aft that if there was a better alternative I would be gone in an instant.

    Auto adjustment is very slow. First it will attempt to center your camera in the direction you're going while your DBs fly up, THEN it will move it downwards veeery slowly. If you move your camera at any point during the adjustment downwards it will cancel it. As I said before though, the auto adjustment thing isn't very useful anyway as you can barely see the reticle with it. You can try it yourself in the training room if you have time. Just launch a DB, start an attack and then take your hand off of the mouse.

    Because you're cancelling the automatic camera adjustment by moving your camera while attacking. Or at least it looks like it in the replay. In fact your camera movement quite frankly looks weird in general. Are you using a gamepad or sth by any chance? Regardless, even with the automatic camera adjustment you struggle to see where you're aiming at least with the Langley (just tested in the training room). It's a bit better with higher tier CVs but not by much. I recommend making it a habit to look down before you attack.

    Alright, you will notice that your camera stays in the position it is in when you attack, right? So just adjust your camera downwards before attacking.
