    The truth is nothing has changed compared to the RTS iteration except the average player has become even more braindead while experts are even fewer in numbers now.

    Please for the love of all that is holy get rid of 2x CV games. Population has already fallen to the point where we have pre-rework levels of participation. By removing the 2x and 3x ruleset we can stretch the population over a larger portion of matches, making it appear more healthy again. I'm also sick and tired of getting teammates who do not know how to play and thus throw the match before it has even started. Since you refuse to do a general intelligence test in the game either remove multiple CVs per match or allow 2x CV divisions again. Also Shards in high tiers is awful. Restrict the map back into mid tiers.
  3. Just played a round with the Furious. RF slow speed actually helps against DDs, but against everything else it is awful. TBs are excellent for their tier. Was able to consistently get both torps on target with TA and they deal decent damage as well. Use this against everything except DDs. The.... Dive bombers? Carpet bombers? Level Bombers? Yeah, lets call them LBs. They're garbage. One squad of 4 which attacks one at a time with a huge spread is incredibly funny to watch and equally useless. Overall I won't play Furious again. Using her TBs is rather fun, but other than that she offers absolutely nothing in terms of entertainment. (And before you ask, yes I got uptiered although the ratio of low-high tier ships was fairly reasonable.)

    F6Fs have already been acknowledged as mislabeled (they are supposed to be F6Fs btw). Devs didn't fix it yet because it is a very low priority issue, something I thoroughly agree on.

    @Saiyko was it a case of the enemy team being worse, throwing or the rest of your team being actually decent/good? Just curious how you won with such a handicap. Also inb4 chatban. Again.

  10. Got Hermes and Furious as well. Not willing to pay cash for Implacable. Played Hermes once at the insistence of @Saiyko. Almost fell asleep while doing so. Might try the Furious later.

    Solo. Both Midway and Enterprise suffer a bleed of about 2% in WR when compared with overall stats. Though you could've just looked that up yourself. Honestly at this point I don't even care anymore. I'm just happily watching this rework burn to the ground, fanning the fires whenever I feel like it.

    Well, plunging fire literally doesn't exist. The combat distances in this game are far too close for plunging fire to occur with auto bounce. To pick an example, the NC is notorious for having perhaps the worst shell arcs of all high tier BBs. Auto bounce occurs at <30°, meaning that angle of fall of a shell must be greater than that to overcome it. We know from previous tests that angle of fall is accurately modeled after real life values, so all we need to do is look up the distance a gun needs for an angle of fall of 30°+ at e.g. navweaps. And according to navweaps a NC would need a distance of around 24-25km. Hilariously impractical in any but the most extreme ingame scenarios. That's what a ship with notoriously bad shell arcs needs. A Yamato meanwhile would need somewhere around 30km for plunging fire to occur. So unless overmatch is involved deck penetrations in this game do not exist. However a longer distance can be helpful for penetrations below the waterline due to the ballistic properties of shells striking the sea before a ship and prevent overpens as the shell loses more energy while traveling a longer distance.

    Well, great. Now you simply don't have to deal with the enemy CV anymore which makes things far easier. All you need to do is outdamage your opponent which you inevitably will by virtue of being more skilled. Instead of becoming a liability during the match your opponent becomes a liability simply by getting put into said match. Man, it is almost as if you never needed to make such decisions with the RTS iteration. /s Tell you what, your so called more demanding playstyle is actually nothing but a delusion. You are tricked into thinking you require more concentration and better decision making skills by the much quicker pace of reworked CV play. However because reworked CV play is faster it automatically dumbs down your decision making process. A failed strike has far less impact because you can return and try again in only 30 seconds instead of 3 minutes. Likewise the danger to your aircraft has been scaled down significantly, to pick up your example sacrificing a squad to DM AA to get damage on a DD has far fewer implications than it did previously because instead of having to keep track of reserves so you have some left towards the end of the game, the game just does it for you via the new plane respawn system. Once you look past the surface level of the rework you will find extremely little depth in comparison. Farming potatoes in RTS CVs could be downright boring, yes, but if you measure everything with such a benchmark then the entire game becomes a giant snorefest. Playing an RTS CV against an actually skilled opponent however meant that one lapse in concentration could cost you the match. That has been taken away. Now it's just target acquisition, killing said target and looking for the next one. Like working down a shopping list. There is nothing particularly mentally demanding about it. To even compare it to the RTS iteration is laughable at best.

    Laughable. Utterly laughable. Such a behavior hasn't been seen by players until the CV rework happened. In fact, on the CN server where RTS CVs still exist there is no mass camping and blobbing whatsoever. But then again you'll probably remain immune to hard facts as always.

    On topic, currently TiTs are the way to go on the Midway as her HVARs have been nerfed to oblivion. Unsure if the same is the case on the Lexington.
