Never experienced that tbh, but then again I don't tend to pay a lot of attention to planes after I've bailed.

Pretty much. The speed is applied right after the the attack is completed so it's kinda the same thing.

Shortening is generally done only to limit losses. It has nothing to do with accelerated bailout. Generally you actually want two wings because one wing will rarely make it to the target. However if you can abuse island cover to get close a one wing attack becomes an option. Second wing CAN survive with accelerated bailout (very hard emphasis on CAN, it's a fairly small chance against heavy AA), attack wing will always die.

Ah, haven't been online in Discord for a while. Actually I don't know. Haven't played Lexington since PTS. I believe TiTs are currently the better choice as HVARs have a ridiculous attack prep time and stupidly high initial spread. If you can get by that however I think HVARs will deal more damage overall. I recommend a bit of training room or coop testing to see what you like better. -
Accelerated bailout is pretty much your only chance to get out of good AA alive after dropping. If you try to maneuver out of AA you're gonna die before that happens. Although if you attack an AA ship it's crucial that you shorten your squad before first to limit losses.

Seems like it in terms of the reticle. Waiting can still be beneficial as it reduces the time bombs are in the air. Most of the speed stems from the acceleration mechanic, so it works even without boost. Just becomes a bit faster with boost in my experience. So you can technically speaking start accelerating even after you drop.

Depends on the CV tbh in terms of usefulness. Generally speaking only IJN CVs really benefit from it as their TBs can reach topkek 6.1km concealment if you go full stealth. On any other CV it's more of a personal preference more than anything else. Personally I don't use it on any CV but Enterprise (and even on her I'm contemplating of spec'ing out of it) as I am already familiar with pretty much every safespot on every map so I can get by without it. I don't really think you want to forgo FCM1 on RN CVs as they have abysmal reserves, but I'm not too experienced with them.

Programming a new engine easily takes several years. Porting an entire game to a new engine is equally time consuming. Aka this game would receive no updates for several years if you want it to run on a new engine.

Enterprise hands down. + Best rockets + Best torps + Best sustain + Best maneuverability + Topkek AP bombs that nuke your worst enemies (aka AA cruisers) + Murderous 10 fighter squad with gigantic patrol circle + Good aircraft survivability + Decent hull characteristics + Extremely dangerous when bottom tier + s all over enemy team when top tier - Requires skill to play - Has little use for DE unlike other USN CVs, so you're gonna need a dedicated captain for full effectiveness - So powerful you can't farm damage in most matches because you win too fast, giving you bad average damage - Yes, that's it

The issue here is less me being good rather than the Aigle having literally no choice but to die with less than 2 minutes spent in the match. He didn't even leave spawn yet and was well within range of friendly AA. Watch for yourself: Now this may have reasons beyond "LOL CV OP" (e.g. AA progression still being garbage) but that doesn't make it any less broken.

Again, why? In terms of overall stats Kaga and Saipan are extremely close. If you consider the top players only Saipan actually outperforms Kaga by quite a bit. As such I see no reason why Kaga and Saipan should be nerfed/buffed respectively in this manner.

Quite frankly it's because the camera follows your ordinance and doesn't stick to the planes. That means when you drop you can't actually see how AA still targets you especially with RN bombers where you just watch your bombs fall for several seconds. While your ordinance drops your planes are also restricted in maneuverability AND get artificially accelerated away from the target. Getting hit by flak would be outside of the control of the CV player. That could ofc just be fixed by letting the camera stay with the planes but WG seems unwilling to do that.

Well, since according to @Asakka plane tiers do actually still exist I guess this would be a rather specific nerf for the Kaga and buff for the Saipan since Enterprise planes are actually considered T8. Not really sure if that is needed tbh.

I'd have to double check in port but I'm fairly sure plane tiers actually no longer exist. E.g. according to the battle UI both Hellcats and Avengers on E are considered T8 as can be seen here: On a different note, Hellcats are now finally labeled as Hellcats. I didn't even notice lol.

They didn't. They outsourced the development. Then probably judged by the number of players actually using said solution that it is not economically worth it to keep up support for it. It's a perfectly sound and logical decision.
