    How to balans the Balans:

    CV Rework Discussion

That is to be expected with only one squad in the air, no? Thing is however that active spotting hasn't been nerfed, passive spotting has. Squads e.g. idling near teammates will no longer spot ships (since you only have one squad), but ships that you put active effort into spotting (while killing them) are still being spotted just as much as they were in the RTS iteration.
  4. Shhhhhhhhh. Is balans now.
  5. Meanwhile on my end...

    Hood's AA capabilities post-rework

Hood AA is dead. It is centered entirely around flak. Also she dies to Enterprise AP bombs so fast you don't even get to blink before she explodes.

    CV Rework Discussion

I wonder how low tier CV stats would look like without T4 CVs considering their damage potential is extremely low even relatively speaking. (Not complaining about that btw. It's one of the few things that imo the rework does right. Giving Hosho the same TB damage capabilities as a Shokaku back in the RTS iteration was just straight up ed.)
  8. To which I can simply point at my own and the stats of other top players as proof that average stats in reworked CVs tell nothing about their potential.
  9. Except I am dismissing it on the basis of experience. Experience tells me reworked CVs are FAR more powerful than their stats would imply. Drawing any conclusion about them out of average stats, especially in relation to RTS CVs, is thus complete nonsense.
  10. Ironically that contradicts your narrative that RTS CVs were op in comparison to reworked CVs, no? Or your acknowledgement that CVs are the most impactful class by far.

☆ Manually controlled AA can not work! ♡

Manually controlled AA could work - if you fundamentally change how the game is played. Not a bad thing per se but does the community really want that?
  12. Which quite frankly hasn't changed. Skilled CV players can and do still decide matches entirely on their own on a regular basis. ironically the only things that really changed about CV play, namely the neutering of AA divs via a skilled CV player's capability to all over AA ships and almost removal of CV-to-CV interaction, are to the detriment of surface ships. Except average stats say nothing about the potential power of a ship, and thus are largely irrelevant in judging whether something is too powerful or not. Case and point: Clemson.
  13. I am well aware, doesn't change what standards the CV iterations are judged by by the community. Besides, WG is well known to straight up lie to our face and bend numbers to suit their narrative. You know, like when they declared that the skill gap between good and bad CV players is a problem that the rework is supposed to address, a couple months later suddenly the skill gap is the difference of a player's individual performance in the respective classes and that the rework has apparently been successful in addressing it.
  14. Again, whether it is smart or not is irrelevant. If we're going to compare RTS and reworked CVs then they must be held to the same standard. The standard for RTS CVs has always been judged by their highest potential whether we like it or not. Thus to get a conclusive comparison the same needs to apply to reworked CVs. As such throwing average stats around to compare reworked and RTS CVs is laughable at best.

    Jean Bart VS Premium CV

Enterprise literally earns as much cash as Missouri nowadays. Just fling a bunch of rockets at DDs and you'll break 500k without premium pretty easily. Whether you are capable of playing her to her full potential or enjoy it is another story.
  16. Didn't you? Honestly there are so many people who did a full 180° it's hard to keep track of all of them. Regardless what I said still stands true. RTS CVs have always been judged by their highest potential, not what the average potato brings to the table. Why should reworked CVs be any different?
  17. And why pray tell is that when all you've done throughout the RTS iteration is harp on about how CVs are OP based on the capabilities of top players?
  18. Only if the enemy CV was significantly better. And that quite frankly hasn't changed.
  19. Again, that doesn't matter. No one ever complained about the s who could only auto drop and click with their fighters back in the RTS iteration either.
  20. The reason why CVs aren't doing well in stats is very simple. Potatoes fail just as or even harder with reworked CVs than they did with RTS CVs while skilled CV players have become more scarce. As such average stats can be dismissed entirely when it comes to CV potential power. CVs have always been judged by the playing standard of their top players, I don't see why it should be any different with reworked CVs.

  23. Your inability to perform such strikes isn't in question here.
  24. Considering the tonnage to HP conversion formula of this game DEs will have about half the HP of current DDs. That puts them well into oneshot range for bombs and twoshot range for rockets.
