Because turning your game into a trojan horse surely is the way to go? Besides, even with access to system logs faking a crash is still hilariously easy. Those even get logged as crashes so access to logs would do precisely NOTHING. If you normally do not incur penalties then there is no need to play "extra cautiously", as such any perceived difference is entirely in your head.

Are you actually that naive? There are tons of methods to forcibly cause a program to crash. And you should be cautious regardless, as such it shouldn't have any impact on your game experience at all. Unless ofc you normally aren't, but then you deserve to be penalized.

No, it should not. It'd be too easily exploitable otherwise. Besides, you're not being penalized. Being pink is a warning, actual punishment comes with being orange.

CV AA is actually very meh for the most part. What makes them good at air defense is their almost permanent CAP and the ability to spam fighters on themselves constantly. Catch a CV without any fighters up though and it isn't uncommon at all to be able to get all your strikes off. Because WG believes most players are too stupid to be able to manage the hull as well as the squad in the air. Which is a very true assessment tbh. It isn't. Has nothing to do with CVs, really. Also this is part of how WG makes money. They'd be incredibly stupid to change it in the way you want. ....There are? CVs are already slated get ASW capabilities if that should ever become necessary. I'm not making this up.

You don't want AR precisely due to reasons you stated. DE is better for Midway but has somewhat limited utility on E. Still you get a lot of rocket hits with her thanks to topkek accuracy so it's not necessarily as bad as one might think. If you want an universal captain instead of two separate ones (which would be the optimal solution) that's what I would pick. Use TiTs. Midway HVARs have been made awful.

All plane types do but it's very short with TBs and RFs. So much so that it is not worth using. Immunity time in DBs on the other hand can be manually stretched out as the longer the bombs fall, the more immunity time you get.

Because your only way of helping the team is by spotting and damage farming. You are doing neither when attempting to protect your team with fighters.

Funnily enough better secondaries is not going to make players want to push, it will make players want to avoid getting shot at by secondaries, thus leading to an even more passive campfest. We've already seen this happen.

Because it shows me who I should drown in planes first. The downsides you pointed out are very real tho. Recently had a 2x DD div, both below 40%. And the worst part? They were Supertesters. Highlight yesterday was a 3x Yugumo div with 30, 30 and 28. We lost the match pretty much instantly.

Good CV players don't bother with active fighter cover as it is not only a waste of time, it actually hurts you and your team tremendously. Anything that compromises the damage race between you and the enemy CV/s is ill advised. Fighters should only be used if the zone you want to protect is on the way to your target.

Here's the question you should actually be asking yourself: Do you hate this playerbase? If yes, play CVs. It's primarily why I play them. If no, quit.

There is exactly one thing good about Moskva AA. She's got a lot of range which is extremely annoying. Annoying is all that she'll ever be however.
