  6. Well, it's entirely possible that BBs actually get priority over cruisers if they both happen to tick at the same time. Personally I found that BBs are usually the ones to get the most plane kills even if there happen to be other ships in the area.

  8. They don't. It has more to do with the individual tickrate of AA guns. Faster ticking guns are inevitably better at killing low HP planes than slower ones. That and Salem has no close range AA, meaning after a certain distance you stop dealing damage completely.
  9. Just to clarify RTS AA wasn't a complete RNG fest. It was rising chance over time up to 90%, base chance and the rate at which it rises was determined by a plane health - AA calculation in some way. After several 90% ticks a plane would get destroyed guaranteed (Fara called this the "pity timer"). The squad also received a health buff/debuff if a plane was destroyed early/late respectively (the buff you could counterplay by turning your AA off and on again). Likewise AA DPS doesn't seem to target randomly either. I believe it prioritizes healthy planes first, basically guaranteeing you at least one successful attack.

    PSA: Lock on bug is back again

    Was shooting a supposedly locked Worcester and wondered why my salvo went all over the place. Then I noticed no lock on the minimap. So yeah, try to verify that your target is actually locked before shooting. Might save you some headaches. Can i just express my amazement at WG's competence again?

    I think you mean Lexington. - Enterprise rockets are now the best anti-DD weapon in the game due to superior speed compared to Midway DBs - Enterprise TBs remain among the best, if not the best TBs in the game - Enterprise AP DBs are the best anti-cruiser weapon in the game Midway DBs have gained a bit of consistency at the severe cost of speed. In a flat out race Enterprise will kill DDs faster than Midway now. Not to mention Midway needs her DBs against everything else as well whereas Enterprise can cycle between squads depending on the target, giving the latter a lot more flexibility and higher effective plane reserves. On a different note, invis flak issue has become significantly worse (likely due to plane speed changes). I also believe I've found an exploit in regards to that which surface ships can abuse.
