Except BB overpopulation is objectively the source. Every single issue can be traced back to it. - camping meta? 5 BBs on each side bowcamping all the time doesn't allow for much dynamic play - CVs? 5 BBs per team pushed cruisers into a more niche class instead of being the primary class of this game, meaning AA coverage virtually ceased to exist which inevitably lead to the rework - Torpedo soup? Again with 5 BBs per team the next easiest thing to play was DDs You see, everything that genuinely hurts BBs has been nerfed. HE spam and torpedoes are pale shadows of their former self, CVs don't actually like to strike BBs because they are nowadays the best AA ships in the game, DDs are heavily concentrated on fighting themselves more than anything else (and well, surviving the onslaught of planes), DoT too has been heavily cut down in effectiveness and ofc BB armor schemes have been modified so that most broadsiding BBs can't be punished. Meanwhile BBs become more and more powerful with each iteration. They are the true of this game and the very reason why this game is what it is now. -
Typically such divisions need to move from time to time.and can't just be in one spot with smoke 24/7. That's the best time to strike. You can also just home in on the tracers if you have the chance. Saturation with torps, rockets and bombs will typically yield good results with 3 ships sitting in a single smoke. If they don't want to get struck, they'll have to stop firing making their smoke kinda pointless.

Smoke is fading meaning Worcester is exposed. He's low HP enough to die in just a single strike which leaves only the Minotaur as serious AA opposition (Smolensk AA is garbage). Minotaur is also low HP enough to die as soon as exposed and killing a Smolensk should not be particularly difficult. And, well, ironically Flambass has ed his team completely by going for such a div, making the rest of them even easier targets. Assuming the enemy team isn't completely ed that match is lost pretty much guaranteed. (And ofc the enemy actually is completely ed handing Flambass the win.) I've dealt with AA/smoke divs aplenty after the rework. Trust me, you can make their life utterly miserable as a CV. Enterprise in particular would this div hard (as she does everything tbh).

It's gigantic. As wide as the ship itself and stretches from front to back turret I believe. Keep in mind Kemlin actually has pretty weak deck armor, so dropping from the highest altitude with IJN AP bombs will likely result in overpens. At least that has been my experience with Haku. Enterprise meanwhile can just drop from her sweet spot and will obliterate Kremlin in short order assuming squad shortening and slingshot are used.

Meh, all I see is 3 easy targets. (Also not sure if people know yet but flak is purely cosmetic from a surface ship point of view and does not at all resemble the flak concentration of walls a CV player has to evade/spoof.)

Honestly a general BB limit is long overdue. It's the one class that is never affected by meta changes because every plays one.

"Was your fault we lost moron CV!" Totally. Loss was inevitable due to 20% WR difference between my team and theirs (which is becoming rather common lately) but still funny how s believe they're all not worthless.

How about no? WG can't balance surface ships, they can't balance CVs, they can't balance the economy, the last thing we need is another aspect that requires fine balancing which WG is too incompetent for.

Because this is overall stats, not recent stats. Since reworked Shokaku has pretty much only been nerfed since her implementation the only logical explanations is that skilled players transitioned away from Lexington/premiums and started playing Shokaku and/or Shokaku players got a lot better after gaining experience. Which ofc means overall stats does not represent her true potential.

Well, we know the playernumbers. @Culiacan_Mexico just didn't list them. In the last week Shokaku was played by ~1200 players which is a comparable number to Gearing and Izumo for example. This is more players than e.g. Worcester and Amagi had. Meanwhile Massachusetts B, the ship that performs most similar, only had 200-300 players while regular Massachusetts had ~600. Which is ofc your own experience and that's fine. However it is also inherently subjective as you're only taking into considering the views of a single player. Seasonal stats meanwhile are for the most part objective. Shokaku is at the very least incredibly strong all around. In fact all T8 CVs are except GZ which is "merely" decent.

What matters is that a CV is mirrored against a CV. There is no match in which you have a CV on one side and none on the other. Inevitably that means one CV wins while another loses. As a result WR can only be used to measure how a CV performs against another CV, not against all ships as a whole.

And how am I supposed to believe you when Shokaku is actually at the very least incredibly strong in stats despite having a fairly large playerbase? In fact funnily enough reworked Shokaku outperforms last year's seasonal stats of her predecessor (which was considered a very strong CV) by a pretty significant margin in average damage while other stats remain similar.

Perhaps not, but it does show that WR is a worthless stat when it comes to CVs because they're mirrored. Also AP bombs deal effective damage and plenty of it. Just because it isn't dealt to DDs doesn't mean they're ineffective.

When a Haku is forced to play against a Haku, what do you think is the result recorded in server averages?

A proper tutorial system would be a nice start. Which WG has already stated won't happen because they're making money off of the average player being ed.

Except which means Shokaku deals way higher effective damage than a lot of the other ships that are close to her in average damage.

No, it's not. The better you are, the better the rewards. However in high tiers even if you get a pretty good match you should at best break even. This does not discriminate against low skilled players. So you either git gud or you spend time playing mid tiers and building up credits so you can play a few high tier matches. Either way problem solved. That they should be forced to git gud if they want to constantly play high tiers.

Funny, you seem to have included that in your "relevant stats". Also you seem to have missed damage, spotting, etc. Is that all you can do? Deliberately ignoring stats that don't fit your narrative?
