And I'm sure you have the replays and stats to prove all your claims. Also you are actively encouraging people to play in a toxic manner. For someone so hung up on toxicity that's rather interesting to say the least. -
Because clearly you're not objectively terrible at this game, only finding marginal success with a class that has been completely overpowered up until recently. Again, Grozo AA even with DFAA doesn't exceed the AA of even halfway decent AA cruisers which CVs can strike without any issues. Without DFAA that makes it objectively terrible. Her AA is also concentrated in very few mounts, just breaking one lowers it significantly (a weakness shared by all DDs). The large health pool is outright negated by her gigantic size, making her liable to take heavy hits from both rockets and bombs, as is the heal. Smoke is her only real "defense" and wont necessarily save her. As such Grozovoi objectively is a mediocre AA ship at best. If you can't deal with that, then why should you be considered even remotely decent or allowed to perform? After all if you're bad at something you don't deserve to be successful. End of story.

Except it is. Fun comes from interaction, not being interacted with. No it wouldn't. What would happen is the guy using the fighters would be actively shafting his team, making CV play even more than before.

Very simple, rework CV play isn't fun. It's boringly repetitive, has no depth whatsoever and is utter for ever other class. However fun in a PvP game is for the most part quite frankly irrelevant anyway. Because inevitably your fun comes at the expense of the fun of someone else. As such balance is paramount, not fun. Therefore reworked CVs can never be balanced and fun at the same time because the fundamental concept runs contrary to that. This shows with the adjustments made in 0.8.5, bringing reworked CVs closer to a balanced state than ever before but completely obliterated the playerbase to the point where RTS CVs were more popular. Thus there is no saving this rework. It's complete and utter garbage.

They don't. Most AA is still pathetic including most of the supposed AA ships. There are only about 2 cruisers and a bunch of BBs that are dangerous to attack with high tier aircraft. Besides, doesn't seem to change that you're demanding players of other classes to change up their playstyle to deal with CVs, but the moment CVs have to give up their throne of complete dominance you cry like no tomorrow instead of changing and adapting. Skilled players are still doing well with CVs. Git gud.

Obviously as most CV players are absolutely as aleady evidenced by some of the responses Grozo AA has gathered right here. I fail to see how that matters however.

Within heavy AA cover is typically out of range in this glorious meta. Opening fire outside of it just makes you a target. Besides, if you're within range of enemy ships that means radar and torps become a factor. A CV may not need to do anything but force you to smoke to get you killed in such a scenario.

Doesn't take that many battles to reach T10 nowadays what with the ed up economy and all. Seen players with as little as 300 battles sailing around in T10.

No. Wherever you got that from is beyond me. CVs take regular DoT.

If a DD smokes against aircraft they're immediately out of options. Unless ofc it happens within heavy AA cover but then again that'd be a wasted smoke. Win-win. Your incompetence is of no interest to anyone. Grozo AA is objectively mediocre at best with DFAA on and absolutely terrible without it, thus if one can melt your squad it's your own fault. Right timing on use is critical. Aggro can only be pulled roughly 6 seconds after activation. Likewise aggro itself takes another 5 or so and range is only a 3km radius. Generally you should activate it a moment after enemy planes have just entered your AA, however that also depends on individual plane speed and type. With the right timing however catapult planes are unavoidable and thus make any BB carrying those, including the Musashi, a far more effective AA platform than almost all cruisers with DFAA. Probably as intended since BBs are and always have been the great winners of the rework.

Kind of a moot point since I already have one. :) -
Grozo is ironically among the easiest DDs to kill due to her size, she tends to take hilarious damage from rocket strikes while still presenting a fairly favorable target for HE DBs. Even with DFAA enabled she's inferior to the base AA of a Seattle and its easily destroyed within your first few attacks. Likewise having a minimum concealment of ~3km means first passes can easily be made in all but a full frontal angle with RFs. Gearing AA even with DFAA is laughably pathetic, being inferior to the base AA output of a Cleve. The only DD with meaningful AA is Friesland with DFAA active and she's still WIP.
