Kremlins upper citadel belt armor is 410 to 430mm thick. A DM is capable of penetrating that at roughly 2km and below. Kremlins lower armor belt is 410 to 430mm along with 70mm citadel armor, resulting in a total of 480 to 500mm citadel protection scheme. DM is capable of penetrating the former at about 500 meters while being completely unable to penetrate the latter even at point blank range. The spaced armor may also cause your shells to detonate prematurely before reaching the citadel. Welcome to the bias weirdness that is Kremlin's armor protection scheme.

On CN server: Spot lone Minotaur for 5 seconds. Would be ez kill if this were the rework. Lose over half a squad before I can get out of the 8.6km range AA. "aA iS sTrOnGeR iN tHe ReWoRk!"

Why WoWS creates toxic players and fix
El2aZeR replied to G01ngToxicCommand0's topic in General Discussion
Nope. To say that getting good or bad WR purely by chance is astronomical would be an understatement. This is scientifically proven. https://forum.worldofwarships.eu/topic/76406-win-rate-and-luck/ Simple fact is the amount of battles you lose by default eventually gets balanced out by the amount of battles you win by default. This leaves the battles you can influence either positively or negatively which is then reflected in your WR. The more you are a liability, the more negatively you influence a battle, the more you will lose. On the flipside the more skilled you are, the more battles you can turn in your favor and the more you will win. Playing in a div or/and an impactful ship/class ofc does also influence your WR (either positively or negatively), but individual skill still determines how far you can take it. The only fault that lies with using WR as a representative stat for skill is that it requires a sufficient sample size, but otherwise it is an accurate representation of how skilled you are. Wait, you are actually blaming people for playing for the win? The very goal of playing this or any PvP game? Are you for real? -
Or when Yamato only had 41mm belt armor.

Meh, even on Islands (the smallest map in the game) I'd put my money on the CV given sufficient skill. CVs are generally as fast as most BBs/cruisers so any tail chase, even if it is just for a couple of mins, will enable a CV to pretty much kill anything. It gets even worse if adequate island cover is available and the players start on different ends of the map. -
Ah, remember the days when ramming an island would actually deal damage to your ship? Fun times.
-
Because, you know, slingshot doesn't exist or sth even if such cruisers existed. Oh wait.
-
Pray that the enemy CV is bad and can't adjust for whatever maneuvers you try to make. If he isn't, go straight to great gulag in heaven.
-
DM isn't exactly known to be a particularly tanky ship, you know? Generally in this game how much armor you have on your belt doesn't matter as much as how big and high your citadel is due to distances combat usually occurs in which would be considered extremely close in real life. The distinction between "heavy" and "light" cruiser comes from gun caliber, not armor nor displacement. Zara had 203mm guns, so she is classified as a heavy cruiser.

1vs1 ranked sprint. On T8. WITHOUT class mirroring. *laughs in Enterprise* -
You can't. If I remember correctly @ForlornSailor once got chatbanned by support for calling his camping teammates "little girls" once and according to the answer to his appeal that is a ban-worthy insult.
-
Mrw Crysantos basically admits KotS is better without CVs.
-
No you weren't. They couldn't have pushed even if they tried (which they didn't). Your time would've been far better served securing A and B which your team couldn't manage until late due to enemy DDs interfering. I am well aware. The only Saipan game I have in there currently is a quick training room test which I'm quite sure is uninteresting.
-
Personally I'd reduce her deck/upper belt to 25mm. If that isn't enough, speed reduction to 33kn along with a slight maneuverability nerf should do the trick.
-
Decent enough MM. Balti can hurt since your planes are T4 but everything else should be fair game. Do keep in mind I'm by no means an expert on the Ark Royal since, you know, I don't have one. You didn't kill a DM that match and while killing the Eugen was crucial, the match could've been won way more comfortably had you chosen to attack priority targets instead of farming damage. You gave the enemy team a chance to come back while they had almost all their ships holed up in front of C for nothing. You didn't start attacking targets that actually prevented you from winning until there were only such targets left. Unfortunately I currently don't have one saved. I'll be sure to post one if I happen to play a match according to your parameters, tho.
-
Alrighty then, lets see. As far as MM goes this is actually highly forgiving as no ship has particularly good AA. Yes, that includes the DM. As a conclusion, your early game impact is extremely low. You got one good strike on the Daring but didn't help secure any caps nor score kills. Any other damage is farmed and of little importance. You didn't have meaningful impact until the lategame where you basically just mopped up and benefited from your team not completely collapsing on either flank. Your decision making, reserve management and map awareness skills are questionable at best judged from this replay. As such I can only say again that I was right in my initial assessment.
-
That you even have to resort to go into the realm of fantasy just proves my point you know? Haku accuracy is good enough to encompass the size of a Yamato, thus eliminating the chance to miss. It does not do the same for a Kagero. Sadly maintaining a 100% WR is impossible over a meaningful stretch of matches due to MM. There is a difference between maintaining a safe distance and hugging the border. A DD can in fact not approach a CV without being noticed due to the SA skill on both hull and planes. Getting snuck up on is therefore entirely the fault of the CV player. Your assessment of RNG is true though, sadly it contradicts the rest of your statements. As we have already established your stats are outdated as admitted by yourself. Your recent stats aren't nearly as good. Datapoints are visible in that timeframe and I distinctively recall checking your stats during that as well. Lying is not smart when your stats are publicly available. But hey, whatever floats your boat I suppose. I actually picked up the Saipan fairly recently. And no, even when being bottom tier I never had any issues with plane reserves. Almost killing a DM with only one squad of TBs tho was kinda funny. By proceeding to fly into every flak cloud imaginable without maneuvering. So either you tried your hardest to make Friesland AA actually look good and thus attempted to lie, or you're actually not as good as you think. But hey, you have the chance to prove me wrong, no?
-
I already added an attack to account for heal. Hakuryu AP DB accuracy is better than the size of a Yamato and any maneuvers can be adjusted for. Misses are thus impossible. How many salvos a Yamato needs is completely irrelevant as Hakuryu maintains the speed, range, damage and even armor advantage in any actual battle. Potential damage is irrelevant as CVs rarely come under fire. Which leaves a single thing that CVs are bad at and always have been. Capping isn't exactly insignificant but given that CVs maintain the advantage everywhere else it is a small price to pay. No, it doesn't due to the following objective reasons: 1. Your WR is far too low for such an high impact class to be considered adequate. 2. While your damage numbers may look pretty at first, a quick look at KPM reveals it is way ineffective. 3. Your performance in 0.8.5 and 0.8.6 was abysmal. Any decent CV should've found the changes easy to adapt to considering actual AA strength wasn't changed. 4. You give scenarios you can't handle as proof that CVs aren't overpowered when in reality they have easy solutions and thus prove the opposite. 5. If I remember correctly you once posted a replay. To say it was terrible would be an understatement. So unless you can prove me otherwise I'm right to maintain my position.

Aside from the fighter exploit when did anything get removed/fixed, bug or not?
