Because the core gameplay of the rework doesn't allow for counterplay, otherwise reworked CVs become useless in one way or another. Hence why the rework is fundamentally broken.

It actually happens almost every single match.

This is untrue because auto pilot can change its pathing for no reason other to be irritating. It also often fails to follow the path completely by doing the exact opposite of what it shows, e.g. reversing when putting a waypoint in front or turning left when the marker is set right. That too is one of the issues with the new system. When I want to change position I don't want to take ages to turn just because the auto pilot is too stupid to go full speed all the time. Achieving an optimal turning circle is completely useless if the rate of turn suffers as it does at slower speeds.

Except it has been confirmed in a video. We also know tester and player feedback is disregarded if it doesn't align with what WG wants to hear so that's a moot point. And while there are few companies that get things right at the start, it rarely goes the way of the colossal ups that WG regularly puts out.

Back to the beginning of the rework I'd say. With the option to reverse but without any of the "improvements" WG has done. True, it was never that good to begin with but it was workable. Now it's basically RNG whether auto pilot does what you want or not.

If you had any idea about game development and balancing then you would realize that no, most companies do not purely balance around a spreadsheet. As Enterprise proves the very idea is utterly idiotic.

Tbh I've never had an issue with the game center amd I installed it fairly early on. I suspect the game itself just gets slower over time. On EU it takes me 40-50 seconds to load into a match, on CN which is still on 0.7.3 meanwhile it takes me 15 seconds at most. Both are on the same drive and I like to think I have a fairly powerful rig, any difference must therefore be due to the version of the game. -
Until you realize your smoke is so short in duration it fits perfectly within one strike cycle, aka it fades just as the 2nd squad arrives to check up on you. It's almost as if it is intentional.

I'd buy Harekaze if I were still interested in spending money on WoWs EU. Or playing DDs after glorious rework.

Except unless you up badly all losses are entirely insignificant. Ignoring AA isn't being able to attack targets without losses. That is impossible. Ignoring AA is not caring about the losses you take due to a combination of hilariously weak AA and humongous reserves.

Naval Curry is nice if you don't wanna spend oil on food. Cognitive chips if you don't already have a ton of them. Swordfish is a great ASW plane as it does the most damage (but personally I prefer the TBM-3's as they have more splash). ME-155A for GZ if you use her and don't already have one. If all else fails extra oil is always welcome. You may not need it now but maybe later. -

Since you take fewer losses as well the damage to loss ratio is skewed in favor of reworked CVs regardless. Many players also try to use radar on smokes outside of their radar range. So what? Never has something been designed under the assumption that the user is too incompetent to use it. Better question: Why do server wide stats matter? We already have proof that reworked CVs are at least as powerful as pre-rework. Any difference in average stats is therefore entirely down to the (in-)competence of the playerbase and not an indicator of how powerful reworked CVs are. And the great majority of reworked CV players are shockingly incompetent.

Does it matter? The very idea that reworked CVs somehow deal less damage than RTS ones is still wrong regardless. You do realize "baiting" inherently implies that your opponent misplays?

Except you deal at least the same amount of damage as an RTS CV in the same time, so that's moot. Therefore you - have the same damage dealing capabilities - have a far higher amount of possible targets - take far fewer losses - have far more reserves Yeah, nothing wrong here. /s On that note: Sure must be fun to get killed before you can even see a single enemy ship. But hey, at least he got a plane kill lol.

Except given the reality of CV play it is not only useless but harmful to your chance of winning, thus there is literally no reason to be able to ask for AA cover. -

Don't. I have some topkek footage incoming to demonstrate that constantly trying to deny the enemy CV will lose you the match for literally no gain aside from annoying the enemy CV a bit. Besides, with the rework as it is it is much easier and more effective to simply trade a kill than attempt (and inevitably fail) to keep a teammate alive. What they most definitely should do is remove the F3 command when used on aircraft (the one that calls "Allied aircraft need support" or "Attack enemy planes"). It's completely pointless after the rework. -
Actually Enterprise deck is armored, being capable of shattering most DD caliber fire and bouncing cruiser AP shells. Having the best anti-DD weapons in the game in the form of her RFs she doesn't need reliable secondaries.
