  4. No you don't. The faster aggro time more than compensates the lack of overlap.
  5. Fighters can aggro other fighters even while the other fighter isn't active yet. They also now have higher range = less AA exposure. Aka they're completely useless for air interception now since you can always just despawn them.
  6. I mean, that was kinda the point of the rework, no? Fighters provide CVs with even better spotting capabilities as well as the ability to potentially cheese the catapult fighter of surface ships. By removing them CV spotting would be dialed way back while providing a small buff to air defense. Their ability to provide air denial won't be missed because they were completely useless at it anyway. Thus removing CV fighters would objectively improve the rework by a tiny bit.

  8. By increasing the range you're also increasing the patrol radius beyond friendly AA. By cutting down the aggro time it makes it incredibly easy to just cancel out enemy fighters with your own even if they happen to be above friendly AA. The long spawning time makes them useless at reacting to an enemy strike. In short? Fighters are even more useless now when it comes to air interception. The spotting nerf also makes them more useless at spotting. Might as well remove them altogether at this point.
  9. This is the biggest nerf to CV fighters imaginable. Even more proof that you have no idea what you're doing when it comes to CVs.

    Alternative CV treatment

    This is actually kinda untrue, but then again there are only two instances in which CVs got into a gunfight. One is the sinking of HMS Glorious. Scharn and Gneis got a lucky hit in early and disabled her flight deck rendering her incapable of operating aircraft. She was subsequently sunk by gunfire. The other is the Battle off Samar. There planes were able to get into the air before any of the carriers were hit and they contributed significantly to turning back a far superior surface force. From such a limited sample it could therefore be said that if a CV was capable of getting planes into the air a direct fight actually favored the CV. Render them incapable of operating aircraft on the other hand and they're obviously at a severe disadvantage.

    Feinkorrektur während des Angriffs macht man am besten mit der Maus. Es gibt einen bestimmten Winkel nach vorn in dem das Squad den Kurs in Mausrichtung korrigiert. A & D sind nur für größere Lenkbewegungen zu gebrauchen unter anderem auch weil sie bei den meisten CVs die Genauigkeit stark verschlechtern während es bei Maus oft nicht so ist. In Fliegerbegriffen benutzt Kursänderung per Maus das Ruder, während bei Kursänderung per A/D die Flieger rollen.

    That is not how this works. To give you guys a perspective on this, AA gun HP was first increased by 100%, aka doubled, compared to RTS. The nerf by 50% essentially undoes that buff as AA HP is halved again. Now why does this matter? Simple, tests during RTS have shown that Aux Mod 1 is completely useless when it comes to preserving the number of AA and 2ndary mounts. Since Kremlin now has pre-buff AA HP taking Aux Mod 1 won't change anything.
  19. As I said, relatively speaking. In a typical match you get around 20-30k plane damage done even if the CV is a potato.
  20. Fighters actually give you like 3-4k per squad which is quite significant relatively speaking. Who knows what income that actually translates into.

    LoD is Level of Detail. Objects in video games typically have several LoD models which render at different distances to save on performance. E.g. The further away you are the less detailed the object becomes as you won't be able to appreciate a better looking model at bigger distances anyway. If you have performance to spare though you can render higher quality models even at distance, hence the option to tune it to your liking. And I wish buoys were the only thing constantly invisible despite being supposedly visible in this game. But alas, WG and fixing bugs are mutually exclusive.

    You know as well as I do that reducing CV damage output to a reasonable level in any way basically kills the rework one way or another.
