Here's my most kills ever, 8 kills and 2000 base xp with Kuma.

I see in many discussions that, if you don't like some ships but want to advance in tech tree, you can use free xp to advance research and basically skip a bad ship. My question is: what about silver cost? How are we supposed to bypass that? I for example have around 40.000 free xp laying around (I would have much more if I converted leftover xp from sold and premium ships), so i can skip any tier 4-5 ship xp research requirements if i want. But I have nowhere near 4+ million silver needed to buy next ship in tech tree. And in order to earn that silver I would have to grind much more games (and earn much more free xp in process). So how do you guys that "free xp" skip some ships get the silver needed for buying next ship in line?

Thanx for advice guys. So basically some prem ships are good moneymakers. Maybe i'll buy Murmansk.

I have fast SSD on my comp, but almost always enter battle after everyone has already started moving, so it is not about disk speed. Very irritating when for example i want to rush cap points in DD, or when i enter the game in CV and my planes are waiting to be launched.
