I love spam BB HE on IJN cruisers, they always lose rudder, torpedo tubes, etc....and get burned to death.

They buffed it in the past so it is not hopeless for Akizuki. But now with IPHE added, this buff is no longer needed. 1/4 is for German BB guns (except the 420 mm gun)

Easy, take the caliber and divide it by 6. For exemple, Akizuki : 100/6 =~17

Nice ship, got 86% WR and ~50 kdmg/battle with it. I used mostly HE, with some AP when those juicy cruisers/BBs show their broadside

Because at tier X you meet stronger overlapping AA. Furthermore, your planes are much faster but much less agile too so you will have problems to adjust strikes/strafes in last seconds to maximize your dmg output

There is a bug with your Evasive Maneuver skill, My planes sometimes refuse to land on the carrier when they returned. There are not fires on my carrier so this is not due to fires. And i do not order them to escort my carrier. The bug is solved when I removed that skill later.

On PTS, only BB fighter nerf and Bismarck changes are live. The overall change in consumable is planned but will be introduced later

well, DD can get their Last Stand + Preventive Maintenance, and they are not under constant enemy fire like BBs because they can disengage by using smoke / stealth.... And you exaggerated that 1% too much. In high tier battle, 1% more fire chance translates to an increase of 0,5-0,6% to "effective fire chance" due to the hidden fire prevention coefficient of target hull. Furthermore, the new Fire prevention skill will take up 4 points. So yeah, if you go to Fire prevention, you will lose another tier 4 skill. it's fair enough.

The 420 mm guns are clearly superior to the 406 mm against tier X BBs. The performance of 406 mm guns is bad in any range except short range.

It is not the same for DD/CA/CL/CV/BB. The cooldown times are differents.

The shell distribution is not the same. FG shells tend to spread more. You can feel it when you shoot at angled / bow on targets

For FG, secondaries build is a must because your guns are much more inaccurate.

For people who uses non-premium consumables, it is a buff. But the premium versions still are the most used ones. In effect, 10 seconds of cooldown can make a difference between death and life.

The elite hull is the same. You just have more health points.

If Bismarck is paper ship then I don't know how you will react to tier 9 FG. FG takes a lot more damage than Bismarck due to its bigger silhouette.

That 1% nerf is only significant for very low fire chance ship (<6% fire chance). And you still get another 1% fire chance from the combining of India X-ray and Victor lima flag anyway.

That's not really a buff. If you take it, you have to sacrifice another T3 or T4 skill
