The problem is that the Hood shells has worse Krupp value than Warspite due to being older shells (2190 vs 2330). Combine it with bad accuracy and slow turret traverse, your damage output is very poor.

No, In fact, Hood armour is very strong in this game because autobounce mechanism protect it from plunging fire.
