For Cas: De Grasse and Duca are best prem ships for most operations because they are fast ships, good guns and armed with DFAA. You can outrun your team to go CV hunting or outrun enemies if outnumbered Molotov is very good support ships, but its AA is so bad for CV hunting. Its HP pool is so low to tank multiple enemies. It is too sluggish vs torp spamming DDs. Its rudder also break frequently so Last Stand is a must. Perth is aslo very good but only for defensive operation. it is too slow for offensive operations. Graf Spee is not good for operations. Its slow reload hurts it too much because ou cannot kill ships fast enough to compensate for your team's stupidity. DDs will dance around your guns and you cannot do anything against them. For BBs: Warspite is the best, good gun, good AA, acceptable speed. Mutsu is like Warspite but needs manual AA to not being dominated by TBs. its torpedo spamming ability is also handy iwhen brawling with enemy BBs and CAs Dunkerque is good in some operations and not good in others because its guns effective depend on your position vs your enemies. Its AA is weak without manual AA. Arizona is very good, but it is slow and long reload so you need to make each salvo count. It cannot run around the map like three others so its influence on the map is a bit limited

The normal torps of high tier Pan Asian DDs are very capable. They are fast, more stealthy than Jap torps and they also have very high chance of flooding, almost 1 flooding per hit. -

The alternative DW torpedoes mechanics is being tested along with previously announced draught-based version. In this case, the ability to hit a target is determined by target class instead of draught/depth comparison. Thus, Pan-Asian DD DW torpedoes hit battleships, carriers and cruisers only. Another possible implementation are additional IJN Long Lance torpedoes that hit only "big" targets - battleships and carriers. This solution is considered, because draught-based mechanics leads to noticeable number of exception within the same ship class. For example, at low tiers PA DW torpedoes would not hit Omaha and Kuma, while hitting the rest of cruisers. And on the other hand, possible "anti-capital" torpedoes would inevitably hit Henri IV and Moskva on tier X, along with battleships and carriers. Whatever the mechanics will be, the advantages of DW for now are low concealment and high flooding chance. The ability to hit a specific target is to be reflected in combat UI and in Port specs.

QE AA rating 78 at tier 6 is retard...(Can buff it to 81 with AA flag but it will be overkill) -
419 mm guns can deal vs 99% targets in the game. 457 mm guns give you only an edge vs Yamato and GK because you don't care if they angled or not, you always get a lot of normal pens on them. For me, 457 mm guns are more interesting because now I can play Conqueror like a stealthy, much more agile Yamato and with a much better citadel protection. So i can be more aggressive than when i'm playing Yamato currently. Not many GKs and Yamatos in the game are aware that those 457 mm guns are a big threat vs them, they are still thinking that this gun cannot lolpen them due to overmatch mechanism. But it is a trap.

If the time that the shell traverse the hull for DD is only 10ms, and you set it as 15 ms, you will get overpen. It is still overpen if you set it to 30 ms...That's what they mean. -

Datamined data show that in game, vertical dispersion is about 3 ttmes of horizontal dispersion. So it is based on real life. -
