In Kots 11 und 12 wird es auch Container geben. Jeder kann auch ohne Twitch die Sammlung vervollständingen. Dauerst dann nur länger ;)

Hi @Doctor_Questionable! Thank you for your interest, but with 600 battles you dont have the necessary experience for our clan. I am sure you will find a fitting clan for your needs. Tobiassho AAO

[AAO] Against All Odds now recruiting!

After a very successfull performance in KotS IX and an excellent start into the new CB season (currently EU first) we are still on the hunt for exceptional players. If you have experience in previous tournaments and CB together with unicum stats we might be the right clan for you. We are especially looking for top tier BB players. Our goal this season is a top spot on the EU ladder, if this is your goal too, please apply.

Friesland: before you spend your FXP

We had a beef and you slapped me, cant remember. But for you winning something must be a very rare thing so that you still remember. Usually you are talking [edited] in the forum, trying to sound smart, when you actually understand very little of the game. Its very funny that you start a topic about Friesland being too weak when simultaniously there was a good bit of people telling WG that its very strong and maybe too good. I feel sorry for you that you are not the kind of player who can make good ships work. Not that I would expect it from you. If you know how to play well, you can have a lot of fun with Friesland.

Funny that good players consider this ship as too strong...

Yes, we are. Right now we are inside the top 10 EU clans and aiming for a good plance in this season. We are still looking for some exceptional players to complete our roster for the upcomming tournaments. Especially players with experience in playing BB and very good stats in them are welcome.

ST - cyclone in Clan Battles

Maybe thats not how it will work in CB? I mean its the same with any map right now. On 1 map you lineup works better, on others they dont. So having a map with cyclone does not change much imo.

    Dividing between 3 capture points

You have some good thoughts, but some conclusions you draw are fundamentally wrong. You have to think not only about cap- but also map-controll. I completely agree that splitting forces and denying caps is a good choice. I disagree with your analysis how valuable caps are. If you trade a BB for 3min cap controll you still have the same points as the enemy team, yes. But you also lost firepower. So 1 BB is much more valuable than 3min cap-controll. With less firepower the enemy is able to gain map-controll and later cap controll. If you have less ships is significantly more difficult to hold caps. I would gladly hand the enemy a cap for 3min for +1 BB. Here is where we split. Capping is not the "PRIMARY" objective in the first stage of the game. Points dont matter until the enemy reaches 1000 or the time runs out. So at the start of the game you have no preasure to trade ships/HP for caps. (Not saying you should not take caps for free or if you have the possiblity to do so.) At the start of the game you should try to gain positional and HP/numerical advantage. Secure your flanks, get to good islands, outflank the enemy. Once you gain map controll (pushing the enemy out of parts of the map) you gain cap controll for free. Dont be afraid to give the enemy caps at the start if you get a better position or kills for it. It is very easy to take all caps in the late game if you can outgun or outposition them. Ships are much more valuable in the early game than caps. I partly agree: devide yes, try to deney or take caps with little costs. Dont let the enemy get cap- or map controll for free. If they pay in HP or ships for it, its fine and you can take it back later. As stated: In the early game keeping ships alive and gaining map controll wins games more often than wasting ressources for caps at the start. One personal note @Saltface: Your vocabular and analysis looks like an academic textbook. I guess you a smart guy. You are decent in this game too, but looking at your winrate makes me think that you should not start teaching strats. Maybe you havent fully gotten the right tactical moves in ships yet.

    Clanbattles S06

I tested T8, I played it a lot it the past and I played it now. So why am I not impartial when I say that I dont like it. There are very good objective reasons why T8 gameplay is worse than T10. The biggest of all is the BB - Cruiser - Balance. T10 cruisers can fight BBs pretty well. If you get a cita it costs you 1/4th or 1/3rd of your ship, but you have a heal. On T8 you dont. All dmg is permanent. BBs are dominating battles in a way they dont on T10. The absurd difference between premium and non premium is another... The wast majority of flies love to eat crap, but that does not make crap tasty for me. Lets have an objective view why T8 feels less campy and fresh right now: - New season. The first weeks of T10 are not campy too. Its just some easy playing, if you lose you dont lose much anyway. - New meta. T10 was mapped out, there were few cookiecutter lineups everyone used. T8 is not, yet. It will take a while, then we will find out which is the best setup and you will face more of the same ships over and over. - 6vs6 gives you way less tactical diversity, so individual plays are more rewarded. In conclusion: Maybe T8 feels fresh and not campy now, but as soon as the game is mapped out and clans take it more serious its very likely that it becomes much more campy than T10 because mistakes are punished way harder with no heal for cruisers. It will be a season of making less mistakes, much more than it was on T10. I am not working for WG. Whats your point here?

    Clanbattles S06

If you look at the first days of T10 CB each season they are not campy or less fresh. Ppl just dont take it too serious at the start. Farm some freeXP, have some fun. Wait for later in the season, as soon as clans are try harding it will get campy. My guess, even more campy than T10. Why? Mistakes are harder punished by no heals for cruisers. There is no recovering from taking dmg and losing HP, so it just becomes a game of taking little risks and make as few mistakes as possible, even more than on T10 with heals.

    Dividing between 3 capture points

I am glad that a player with 49% winrate on T9 comes to some much self awareness! You are not a bad guy.

    Dividing between 3 capture points

Everything sometimes works, but its a bad way to play, inferior to anything a semi competent enemy does.

    Dividing between 3 capture points

This analysis is wrong on many levels. The theory sounds plausible, but its not how WoWs works. I will show the main aspects of why this is wrong: a) Pushing vs even "light" resistance is much slower than against no resistance and much more dangerous. Torpedos are very effective and you easily get into a crossfire. b) Killing kiting ships takes a lot of time, even with supperior forces. Chasing them all the way to the map boarder to finally kill them costs too much time and you will lose all map controll if you do so. If you dont kill them they come back and crossfire you. c) To successfully push you need ships to swap the lead, otherwise you get killed one by one. Usually what happens if the first ship in a random game push slows down to save HP, all others behind him slow down too instead of taking the dmg for a while. In WoWs you have a huge defenders advantage, use it. Pushing is more dangerous, especially if you flanks are not protected. So, dont lemming to 1 cap. You should also not split AB or BC. You rarely can get or hold the middle cap when losing 1 of the flanks for free, its just the same result as a full lemming train to A. Instead split up evenly on the flanks. If you find no/few resistance push hard and flank the enemy to create cross-shots. If you face supperior forces kite. Kiting is not running like a headless chicken to the center of the map. Kite them away from the other caps. Often they stop chasing you and you can fall into their back. If they chase you, you give your team enought time to gain map and cap controll.

    Wer will Leihschiffe im Ranked

    Ranked "save a star": problems/solutions

Drop the "save a star" mechanic. There will never be fair way to evaluate XP by a AI to determine who was the MVP. Voting sounds fun in theory, but not all stay to the end. Also if you vote and also have a chance to get selected, you can vote tactically. Vote for a player who, for sure, will not be voted for by othes to increase your chances of getting selected. Which could result in some serious [edited]. What makes ranked frustrating is the fact that you lose stars and drop. Instead of losing stars make it more stars to get rank 1. Lets say 100-200. Win, gain a star. Lose, gain nothing. Yes, ranking out would become easier and less challenging, but good players rank out quickly anyway. With 100 stars you would need 167 games with a 60% winrate, 182 with 55. and 200 games with 50%.

Next clan wars season tier 8

This is the Data from Kots3 tournament. Limitations were: 1 CV, 3 BB, 2 US smoke T8 9vs9 Yes, there war new ships. Yes, buffs and nerfs happened. Yes, this might not be exactly what CB will look like. Amagi and NC dominated, NC mainly because of the rediculesly strong AA on T8 back then. Cruisers speak for themself. Kutu or bust with 1 Chappy per team for radar. 155mm cruiser DPS just beats all others. Beside Mogami Chappy and Kutu offer much more utility, so they will be the top picks. Benson was used becaus of deff AA and smoke. Without CV it will be replaced by LoYang. I dont get where you can see a "diversified" and cool meta. The BB - CA balancing is redicules on T8. Amagi and NC+clones dont care about your angle. Cruisers have no heal to recover. This might cause players to be even more cautious and deffensive. Play smoke or prey to rngesus, will be fun.

    Clan Special Test FAQ

Maybe this would be the wrong way to approach testing for WG. If you want to test do it for the fun and opportunities making the game better, not for some rewards.

    CV: Spotting changes super test

How can a CV not defend himself against a DD (or any other ship)? Especially T10 CVs are heavily armored and take very little dmg from CAs and DDs. If you would go into a trainingroom and put a CV 12km away from any ship and start the battle, I guess the CV wins. He can do faster dmg than the target can do to him. Even with the new mechanics he can spot ships with his corp. DDs that shoot you will be spotted by the CV.

    CV: Spotting changes super test

Finally some thoughts about how gameplay might change instead of trololo without any brains. (Yes ships are visible for CVs if they are spotted by other ships, or the CV-ship.) All in all is this change very interesting, but lacks a bit logical understanding.
