Is it worth it? I mean... I grinded literally just to the myogi and decided I hated it before getting the Arpeggio kongous which are absolutely amazing, is it worth using the crapogi again to get the other BBs/BCs

oh yeah I should probably explain more about hood from the book I read. The hood was branded "the largest submarine in the royal navy" after her alarming tendancy to drop her deck below the waves in rough seas and her particularly bad crew comfort. nah, the war was a foregone conclusion by 1941 hitler had declared war on the worlds largest country, the worlds largest empire and the worlds largest industrial power. and for help he had... well... he had italy and really the only italian who really wanted war was musolini, hence to coup de etat and side change. and then theres japan. who was literally on the other side of the world and not able or really willing to give any support to germany directly. germany had the superior technology, by a small margin (IS-2 and M26 pershing were fairly good comparisons to the Tiger 2 so they're not ahead by that much) but had significantly less numbers. now had they continues producing panzer IVs and stugs instead of the tigers and panthers AND didnt bother with the capital ships wasting resources... the war could've lasted a year or so more... nothing could've saved the nazis at that point, even ancient aliens lol

Hoods sisters were not built because germany switched production away from capital ships to submarine wolf packs. so therefore having a battleship/battlecruiser would be counterproductive and a better use of resources would be on cruisers and destroyers to fight the submarines

Recently I borrowed a book called hood and bismark. which detailed all the events in both ships lives. so If I could be bothered to go get it I might be able to validate that but I can say for certain there was a planned admiral class battleship called repulse. this is now getting confusing

so repulse was completely unrelated to the hood then

I could swear that repulse was far later than hood and that the original repulse had been axed along with rodney, Anson and Howe

hood had several planned sisters like repulse for example. but they were forgotten when germany changed naval tactics in world war 1 to focus more on submarines they were never built and the name was shifted to another ship
