Bismarck of course, It's the only ship currently in game that was officially refered to by its crew as male. so it's different unique and interesting. (and I totally have not put my own charachter under Bismarcks name in a fanfiction because of it)

ok, so I got an ammount of Free XP. now I just finished the New york and unlocked the New mexico. the question is: do I use this free XP to get past the stock grind on the NM or do I save it for patch 0.5.10 and the german BBs?

Gneisenau is definatly pronounced with the G. some german dude got butthurt about in in a youtube comment section about how all european languages were "germanic languages" (surprising news, they're almost all latin based) and how the way the G was pronounced doesnt exist in the english language. guh-knei-sen-hour. thats how he wanted it pronounced lol. I might just pronounced it buttcrack though, just to annoy him

well to be fair they really have nothing else to milk at this point. good game balance? nope. good looking graphics? only if you have a top-of-the-line PC. and most people dont. fun gameplay? nope. pay to win vehicles? hmm... maybe. interesting historical... anything? Absolutely nein. so yeah they run out of everything. the only thing I wish they ran out of was money. then they'd have to sell the game to someone who knows what to do with it. shock horror!

I can't really speak for WoT, never actually played it. but if you are bottom tier in "that other game" regardless of what kind of vehicle you were playing, you were helpless. a lower tier fighter could not climb well enough and everything had an altitude advantage at the start of the match (followed by a boom'n'zoom instant death). in a lower tier tank, all of your shots would bounce and the enemy would penetrate every time. unless you flanked around, although that was only possible in light tanks and some tank destroyers, because everything is really slow.

This is the kinda thing that killed that "other game" that competes with WG. the only difference is that in that game you were completely helpless at the mercy of the MM. here, you can still fight and damage vehicles 2 tiers higher

exactly the same, I used to mock wargaming for being "corrupt" and "out of touch with the community" which they are to a small extent. but after playing war thunder, it's a breath of fresh air I NEVER thought I could draw in
