rank 15. and have been there for an about... 15-20 losing streak? I think... aside from one or two occasions where I won (which were completely on their own, I never got more than 1 star on rank 15) just how bad can I be to incite this sh!t? oh I know why. maybe because when the DD says "everyone go to B" I actually go to B while my team goes to A, doesnt shoot at the ships (DDs) I light up with my radar and even staying out of firing range? I mean why would you play a game and then move in a way that you are unable to contribute to the battle? I am getting so fed up with these idiots. I guess maybe I'm trusting them too much and if I just sort of... lemming train with them and stay less than 1km from a BB at all times there'll be no worries

OK, now most people who've read my threads probably know that I like to play aggressively. and this aggressive playstyle tends to cause a lot of problems for me like overextending, getting focused and dieing far too quickly. now im finding the opposite problem? The problem I'm finding with the game design is the ant-broadside meta which exists to stop people from just sailing in straight lines parallel to eachother clicking furiously. which makes sense. BUT(T) the problem I'm having is when it comes to retreating, if you feel you're too close to the front in too weakly armoured of a ship (like a pensacola) and you want to turn around to get some distance (or some battleships) between you and the enemy, you can't. because turning around exposes your broadside and you get flattened by citadel hits. and you can't just sail backwards because... you're in a ship. it takes ages to decelerate and goes very slowly backwards. so, pray tell, how would I avoid all of this. how would I put some distance (or battleships) between myself and the foe without making myself very vulnerable? any help would be much appreciated.

It's a lot harder to get a montana or a kurfürst in the situation that most benefits a des moines that to get a des moines in that situation

for it's tier, that is debatable right now. I'd say the cleveland and the Isokaze right now are real monsters but so is the gneisenau and the kongou. As for the very best in the game... my experiences on the public test say that it's the des moines (10K salvos every 5 seconds on battleships why dont you) but most people would disagree

I just finished grinding out the NO (my only tier 8 ship) started ranked again and instantly got evaporated by the enemy battleships two ship-lengths from spawn. our own battleships were reversing and our destroyers were cursing us all. what have I got myself into...

Also ran into Aoeteras. had a great discussion about the toilets on american ships (and the lack of said facilities on the pensacola)

they didnt do the scharny justice though D: it doesnt look nearly as good as in WOWS. the prow is so much shorter

well scharnhorst is EASILY the best looking ship (probably in the entire game IMO). trust me gneisenau doesnt look nearly as good without those turrets

ok what in the name of Lindemann is this? ok, the dude who made it claims it's Bismarck but I can see quite clearly it's not, Bismarck has four double turrets and not three triples

stuck at rank 15, grinding the ever loving donkeys a$$ grandma out of the pensacola to try and get a tier 8 for the rest of the season. I know NO isnt that good in ranked but I gotta play somehow

meh, you're probably right but I see no other way of getting a tier 8 in time before the thing ends unless I spend every morning, evening and night on my laptop playing the game (or waste my entire monthly allowance on a premium)

well I only got to rank 15 and can't continue because I dont have a tier 8 and have to grind for ages with the papercola to get the new orleans. count urself lucky u got that far
