I have found that the Des moines relatively poor survivability (excuse me while I titter, just because its american doesnt mean it has sh*t armour) is offset by its BS offensive output it is VERY much a ship that adheres to "The best defence is a good offence." sink the f*ck out of the enemy before they can sink you
